Same, but I feel obliged to work with my hair while I still have it
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 10:27 AM

The only way I can see myself dating or socializing is by not being myself. That has to be the premise, because I would have to do things that feel unnatural to me.

What does meditation do for you that you can't get from working out, reading or doing a hobby?

At this point I should pretend to be a woman and sell AI content
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/25 02:50 PM

What age do men tend to be most physically attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/25 11:38 AM

Being fat shamed was the best thing that happened to my fitness.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/25 09:04 AM

I used to feel exactly the same for not being able to parallel park. The feeling went away when I realized that it was literally just about practicing.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 08:45 AM

It's hard to draw the line between improving social skills and masking (not being yourself, so not sustainable).
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/25 08:31 PM

What is that? Someone who makes people feel worse?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/25 10:46 AM

Agree
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/25 05:29 PM

Fat shaming was one of the best things that happened to me. Fueled me with insane motivation until I got into the habit of exercising everyday and eating healthy.

Do you feel life has been unfair to you?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/25 05:48 PM

Are there actual exercises you can do for your facial attractiveness? (Other than reducing bf)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 05:25 PM

Yeah I guess it's worth the hassle
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 01:47 PM

Influencers should start making motivational videos of cleaning instead of working out. Exercising everyday is easy, but cleaning... I fucking hate cleaning

Imo the big problem with being autistic is not just a lack of social skills. Those can be learned. The problem is being too different from others and not fitting in anywhere.

It seems that low bodyfat trumps everything else looks wise, unless you look very malnourished. Low bodyfat with no muscles > overweight with muscles
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/25 01:06 PM

Yeah I actually have a master's degree in piano and give lessons
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/25 12:35 AM

Perfect pitch, can play piano easily by ear... but I can also read music very well and learn hard pieces
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/25 10:22 PM

I don't know what it is about women, a little dirt and next thing you know they have a dustpan and broom and are cleaning. I can never compare myself to them.

If not approach you, she will at least drop you indicators of interest. That's why I believe the saying that women do the choosing.

I don't like the term social skills. I think social adaptation is better.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/24 11:02 PM

I've heard some red pill gurus say that women will start fights just because they're bored, or they want to shit test men. Don't know if true or bs.

/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 11:04 AM

Man I have a huge list of reasons, but I'll try to sum it up. He was adopted at 5, and presumably because of that he saw the bad in everyone. He would start fights with people for silly reasons (like smiling at him, or turning their backs to him). Then he would try and convince me that people in general are bad, arrogant, self centered. Going out with him was stressful. He approached girls and didn't know when to take no for an answer (he got kicked out of the gym because of this). I believe he …

I thought about that too. I would really like a book with chapters and stuff, something that guides you and gets progressively harder.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/23 11:50 PM

The Raimi Spider-man movies were great, but I can't take these new superhero movies seriously. Too many jokes and plot holes.

I'm literally living my life without worrying about dating
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/23 12:52 AM

I thought about this too and I think I agree. As long as the relationship is bearable, maybe it's better to have company.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 08:59 PM

Approach minors at the gym. Make them feel harassed to the point that they ask the gym coach for help. Go out at night, find the girl you were harassing at the gym and talk to her for one hour, telling her that you are sorry that she misinterpreted your actions and that there's a connection between you two because you both like art.

Looks wise he's meh to me but I could see him fitting someone's niche, also he has status and is insanely skilled at the piano. Is it his looks that you're into? Or the fact that he plays the piano? Do you assess your level of attractiveness based on how good someone can play the piano? What if someone play the piano not as good as him but they are conventionally better looking? What if they play keyboards in a band?

I get that some people are amputees or have diseases, but unless that's the case, wouldn't you have a better life by dieting and exercising rather than preaching body positivity? That seems easier to do compared to fooling yourself into believing that being obese is okay.

Everyone blames social skills but nobody looks at the reason why autists lack social skills. It's because we're fundamentally different people who like doing different things. So even if we learn social skills, we will struggle connecting with people.

/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/23 09:17 AM

Just saw a post about two conjoined twins who got married. This type of stuff makes me think that there really is someone for everyone and that inceldom is something self-imposed, that anyone can get a relationship if they fix their issues. Or maybe not, maybe they got lucky.

It seems that the thing that motivates me the most to improve is not wanting to be inferior to others
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/23 08:54 PM

A friend of mine left the gym because he was accused of harassing a particular girl (this girl felt unsafe and talked to the gym instructor). He told me, and he seemed very genuine, that he just wanted to socialize and was just being friendly. Then one saturday night we met that girl with a friend of hers, he approached her and spent one hour saying that he was sorry, that he is very extroverted and was just trying to be friendly, that he did not expect her to react like that, that he thought th…

I have a friend in his 30s who doesn't have a job or money, isn't good looking, doesn't have charisma, and thought he had a chance with a 20 year old hot bartender. I guess shooters gonna shoot and he chose to play that lottery ticket anyway.

Would a therapist or someone working in the field of psychology be expected to have some life experience? Particularly, would he be expected to have had past relationships and not be an incel?

I have experienced that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/23 02:18 PM

He said he at least received some positive feedback from latina women online, but for the rest he's always been rejected. I would say he's a bit ugly, but how am I to judge. Thing is, we live in a small town in Italy. You always see the same people when you hang out. Imo it's a numbers game and there just aren't enough numbers. I presume it would be much different if we lived in a big city. It would be more acceptable to not have a preexisting group of friends and there would be more people to a…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 04:23 AM

Nothing to do with internet culture. He just doesn't date and doesn't get laid (like me). If I had to give a reason, I'd say because he's latino, not so great looking, and has had a difficult past. Whereas me, I'm super insecure and avoidant. We both hang out together in our small town, and meeting new people (be it friends or dating candidates) seems extremely hard because everyone wants to hang out with their preexisting group of friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/23 04:10 AM

I was with a friend and told him "Oh that girl used to take piano lessons from me. And that other one too". He said "Why don't you go talk to them?" I didn't because I felt embarrassed. But also because I am just not used to approach people. He literally went and talked to them himself so that it would be easier for me to talk to them. Another time, while we were sitting at a bar, he told me "Since you like the bartender, why don't you at least make a joke when she comes here?" It made me realiz…

When I die I hope to be reincarnated in a universe where resting on a woman and be caressed is a feasible thing for me
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/23 02:07 AM

Yeah I thought about this too, I just don't understand obese women. Looks are your most important feature, just diet and exercise and your attractiveness will skyrocket. Imagine if men could improve their charisma, status or financial situation as easily as working out.

I want to elaborate on what I wrote yesterday. It's like competitive pride motivates me to do stuff (especially working out), but it pushes me to hate people in general and now I see everyone and everything as competition. So yeah, I'll workout more, buy better clothes, jack off less, all so I can tell myself I am superior to those "stinky normies" (they are not, but my brain tells me that to motivate me, maybe I'm somewhat narc), but now I am less chill and more depressed thinking everyone is a…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/22 11:41 AM
1

I also find myself trash talking and insulting people in my head. Like, thinking stuff "How dare that stinky bastard achieve that" and I don't even know the person and they never did me wrong. It's like someone said, it's not enough for me to succeed, others must fail
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 01:39 PM
1

To me it's more like "other people shouldn't dare to be superior to me", which is why I suspect to be somewhat narcissist, or maybe it's just inferiority complex.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 10:50 AM
3

Negative self talk is very good at motivating me to do stuff (like working out). Usually I tell myself that if I don't do a specific thing, then other people are superior to me because they're already doing it. But this way of thinking also makes me angry and depressed, and makes me compare myself more to others. It pushes me to see everyone as my enemy.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 10:05 AM

I've noticed that I can't be happy with a "redpill" mindset. By redpill, I mean telling myself things like men aren't loved unconditionally, most people are wolves in sheep clothes, nobody really cares about you but only about their agenda, stuff like that. Instead, I need to believe that people are at least chill, and despite being selfish they still care about you on a human level. One year I was deeply into Robert Green's books, and it was the year I was the most suicidal. But maybe the redpi…

/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/22 12:00 PM

This is probably an autistic question, but when you find someone who has less than 50% of the qualities you were looking for, do you have to "fake" being more interested than you actually are?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/22 11:27 AM
2

Is "settling* actually a thing? How can you be with someone and not genuinely desire them? I understand that some people decide it's better than being alone, but I assume the other person wants to at least feel "wanted"

Yeah, I think it came from someone who was trying too hard to be a manly man. I personally don't play videogames even though I used to. Have you seen the new trailer for Tekken 8? Graphics are incredible. Makes me want to buy a PS5.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 09:59 AM
2

The stereotypical idea I have of bisexual women is that you don't have to be masculine with them. They'll be ok to be the ones asking you out, driving you to places and you can be vulnerable to them (in general, it seems you have to do less work). So, if being a gamer means being less masculine, I can see why it's not a problem for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/22 09:56 AM
5

One of the most boomer advice I had heard was to drop videogames completely to be more of a man and become more attractive to women. It didn't match what I was witnessing. I couldn't understand why so many men playing videogames had a girlfriend/wife.

How does a man get a fwb? Does he have to be much more attractive than her? Does he need exceptional social skills and so men in the asd are cut out? Does he have to live in a open-minded culture?

Sometimes you see reddit posts or even rl situations that make you question everything that's taught here or in the coloured pills subs. It seems you can just be yourself, stop searching for love, and you'll find someone you'll want to be spend your life with. Is this survivorship bias? Or maybe the single greatest reason people don't find someone is because of some mental block or they need therapy or stuff like that?

While lifting weights is a great activity, I don't think it's that much of a landmark of masculinity like some men think. I'm talking about the ones who say "Men aren't masculine as they used to be! They need to hit the gym!" Honestly I consider activities like hunting or manual labours to be more stereotypically masculine. Not that it matters or that you should do shit that you don't want to do. It's just that I don't think lifting weights equals manliness.

I used to train Shotokan as a teen, it was good exercise but there were only kids in my gym and I felt like I wasn't really learning to fight (back when I was obsessed with becoming a fighter). Now I do bodyweight training and I am planning to buy a MTB and maybe start archery (it's the only interesting activity they do in my small town)

You sound like me, one of my biggest dreams was to do combat sports but it stopped being one when I found out about brain damage. I assume working the pads and bag is still great cardio, but then I wonder if it would be best to dedicate to another activity in which you can actually go all the way.

Yes. That's one of the only things I would lie about and even a therapist I was seeing recommended me to lie, saying "In general, you should never let people know that you are a loser". There's a saying, "Trusting is good, not trusting is better". Maybe someone will not mind that you are a virgin, but I don't want to run the risk. I could always say that I met one girl in the past who really fancied me, approached me and did everything herself, she was drunk etc... some shit like that, it doesn'…

Which of these two men would be considered most attractive by the majority of women? 1) Has lifted for 6 months, but has low bodyfat, hollow cheeks and 6 pack 2) Has lifted for 5 years, but is slightly overweight, his belly sticks out just a little further than his chest
/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/22 10:15 AM

Let's say 5'9 and an 8/10 face
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 05:16 PM
2

In a man, is low bodyfat percentage more important than having muscles? Low bodyfat with hollow cheeks and visible abs > 5 years of lifting, but dad bod
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 05:08 PM

I had a passion for combat sports but it faded when I found out how hard they are on the body, especially with brain damage, and if you want to learn to fight you necessarily need to fight/spar and that means getting punched in the head. Also I don't care how good you think you can fight, you should never fight against a knife
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 10:05 PM

Any autistic men who mask hard and have success because of it? Do you recommend masking?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 09:55 PM

Do I really have to do the fight thing? I am not getting in a fight anytime soon, avoiding it is always the best option
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/22 09:54 PM

I get what you're saying, as a man who's likely in the spectrum reading these comments isn't too fun, but I try to remind myself that "autistic" is a very wide spectrum and I might be completely different from some of the men described. Also this is a place for discussion, so you can't really except people to refrain from saying what they think
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 10:06 PM

I work as a bartender and whenever I got hit on by a gay man I'd act especially autistic to fend off his advances, they were almost unbothered by it and still down to fuck. Not women tho, they were outta there asap. This is because men, in general, are attracted to looks, whether they are homosexual or heterosexual
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/22 09:37 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/22 10:09 PM

Is confidence half nature and half nurture?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/22 09:49 PM

Yeah this. I thought I had become more confident when I started getting mad at people teasing me, instead of being quiet. Turns out that the most confident thing you can do is not think much of jokes and teasing. But then, if you're always the only one who's being the butt of a joke... that's a problem

Being yourself sometimes is not okay. For instance, I haven't read a full book in years. I can cook a couple dishes but not as many as I should. I don't know the main artists/musicians of my country , I don't follow the news. This is what happens if I act like myself but it's not okay, so I should force myself to do all of these things.

That I remained alone, and I am more insecure to go out alone (might be a cultural thing as well). If I could give my younger self any advice it would be to do everything you can to have some social circle, even if you don't necessarily like the people, because it will make going out much much easier.

Usually what happens the vast majority of time, I will feel panic and need to go for the first ten minutes, then it will pass, and I won't even need to go later. I believe there's a psycophysical mechanism that makes me wanna pee if I know I can't pee, or it will be socially unacceptable to pee. When I first developed this issue, it was mainly physical. It healed a bit, but stayed. Suppose I were to do a trip on a bus with a bathroom in it. I'd feel 100% comfortable, and most likely I would only…

Usually I need to pee when it's cold and when I'm anxious. I have zero pain, I don't go at night. All those times when peeing would be seen as socially unacceptable, that's when I suffer the most: for instance, in a bus, at the dentist, while performing (I am a musician) and it doesn't go away even after I release. I think it's a psycophysical condition. I even were a diaper for some things because it makes me feel secure, I never actually wet it lol and I would still leave and find a bathroom i…

Everyone answers that you're not obliged to tell people anything, or you can say that you're not comfortable talking about your sexual past. Imo if you answer like that, you're straight up telling people that you're a virgin. Otherwise, why hide it? Who would hide the fact they are not a virgin? I attended group acting/drama/theatre classes for some one-two years as a hobby, but I got a bit fed up in the end. When you learn a musical instrument or begin a new sport, you can feel that you're getting progressively better at that. Maybe you're learning to play harder pieces on an instrument, or you're improving your technique and agility at a sport. With acting classes it's hard to pinpoint what you're getting better at and in the end it doesn't feel as rewarding.

I have a huge inferiority complex that seems to be triggered everytime I interact with another human being. It's like literally anyone knows more things than me, can do more things than me, has more life experiences. Is the only solution for me to make some time everyday to always study and learn new things, the same way a school student would? Other people don't have to do this because they are already good as they are, but maybe I should do it. But shit, that would be a time vampire

I agree, I posted on r/unpopularopinions two years ago saying that there's much more you can do to change your looks that you can do to change your personality. It seems that personality pretty much depends on your genetics, your brain wiring, and how you experienced the first years of your life. You can probably learn social skills and language, but can you really change the core of who you are? I don't known. And don't bring up things related to masking because, well, that's just masking.
