Not a man but I think it’s a combination of the crazier she is the hotter the sex is trope. Also, from my experience men have pretty low standards, if you are pretty and thin there will always be at least one man who is into you. That may also work as just pretty, I’ve never been heavy but people are attracted to a lot of different body types. OP also has no insight as to who the husbands are. They could be mentally unstable, too, or addicts or unemployable or something else that made healthy wo…

My primary job is in education so I have all of my evenings and summers off. It pays our living expenses and my retirement. The second job is at a restaurant I get delicious free food and choose my shifts. I rarely work 6 days a week, some weekend shifts when it’s going to be extra busy but I often make a few hundred for those. In the summer I don’t work extra at the restaurant I stay with my 10/15 hours a week. I don’t feel like it’s drudgery it’s easy chat people up collect cash and go home. I…

My single life has been millions of times better than my married life! My single life has also been much better than bad boyfriend experiences. I go where I want with who I want when I want. I take my kids on family vacation every year. They stay with my family and I go on adult vacation every year. AND before anyone says child support or alimony he owes me about 50k and never sees the kids by his and their choice. I work a second job to make everything happen and life is still much better.

There are plenty of fat ugly women out there that no one wants to have sex with. You can match up with one of them. I see those couples out shopping, having dinner, and drinking at bars all the time.

If the men in this sub are to be believed will only be chasing the 6ft, 6 figure, 6 pack Chads.

There are plenty of single, thin attractive woman who choose not to date. Just because some people lose weight does not mean they’ll be dating.

Good list! It seems easy but there’s a lot of men who can’t manage it either!

No one needs to switch bodies in this scenario. Who would more men want to have sex with is based on appearance. They would choose who ever they prefer. Probably the younger one because they think she’s an easier mark.

I’m happy single. The relationships I’ve been in have detracted from my happiness. If I find someone who positively adds to my life then I would date him.

I date average guys. The last man I was interested in was shorter than me, too. A few men I’ve dated have told me they were surprised that I would date them. Women friends complain about men being rude or immediately sexual on dating apps or getting unsolicited dick pics those things have not happened to me.

If they’re happy or getting men who you think are out of their league there is no problem. This is continuously pushed on Reddit. Irl I see many women with men who are uglier than they are.

That sounds like a great o dating profile. No fat chicks, no ugly chicks, no lazy chicks. If it doesn’t work online you should make a sign to wear every where./s Seriously if someone isn’t your type you don’t have to date them. There’s no need to talk about why they’re not for you.

I’m not sure what you mean. I think anyone male or female should not date a person who gives them sketchy vibes. I’m sorry you couldn’t be bothered to read all 20 or so sentences she wrote and decided to bitch about her here.

I have had all of these same experiences. I will add the man who is just generally angry and bitter. These men will blow up over slight inconveniences or seethe about things outside of their control. It makes me feel on edge. I worry what comment may set him off.

Height is not about visual it is about a feeling. Women like to feel smaller a man who is bigger makes her feel smaller. Tall men make women feel safe he’s bigger and stronger he can see farther, run farther and faster and keep her safe. I’ve dated men shorter than me but taller men make me feel those things.

Thank you. Tbh. I have a really good life. I think that sadly a lot of men are very visual. Many men I’ve tried to date in my 4 years of recent singleness have been the type I complained about or ones who want to do a first date where they know every human in the place! It sucks! My ex was an addict and I tried to stand by him for the benefit of our children. Despite him I raised good people. And I’m good people, too! But my dating life hasn’t reflected that so I’ll just stay single! Buzzing one…

Bad humans. Generally bitter about their lives or the government or work. Or kids they don’t see/ like/ or “wife made them hate me” stuff like that. ETA: I’m 47 so age appropriate men have life history/ baggage. We’re all older and fatter than we were. I don’t date ugly (which for me mainly means obese- fat is fine) dirty or unkempt men but I also wouldn’t say that I just date the “hot guy”. I also prefer them to be my height or taller so 5’8” or taller but a little shorter has worked in some ca…

The men are plentiful but the men are bad. I’ve had several friends and acquaintances tell me their single brother/ coworker/ friend etc thinks I’m “so hot” but to stay away from him because he’s a wreck!!

I hate dating because of flakiness, hot and cold behaviors, lack of quality options and pouting if there is no immediate sexual activity. I hate online dating because of too many options. Every man I like on sites is a match. Then very few reach out or respond when I message first. Those who do often immediately turn things sexual. I get it, we’re both lonely and single but I’d like more than a few hours of interaction before becoming intimate. I, unlike my friends, do not get explicit pictures …

There are a lot of poly or ENM men and couples looking for a woman to join. AND most of the time I wonder how these men have one woman never mind a spare! There are a bunch of married ones looking for discreet fun, too.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 07:57 PM

I’m old and happily alone. I was very very unhappy for 20 years. I don’t care if I ever have another partner. For what it’s worth I’m a late 40s woman who often gets carded. I know I am above average for looks and could choose a man if I wanted to but none of the available men are worth giving up my happiness
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 03:15 AM

Agreed. Happiness is a choice. Everything sucks or everything can be good. You have to choose a perspective.

Some people are better able to appreciate male beauty than others. I bartend at a restaurant on the weekends. Last night a big tall sexy construction worker man came in. He’s older probably late 50s has clearly worked outside and is weathered looking and has a big gut. The chef is shorter less than 5”8, thin funny and sexy. There was another guy at the bar probably in his 30s dark hair and eyes, doesn’t work out slightly overweight also hot. There was a hot 50s or so man clearly works out golfer…

With the facts you are presenting it makes no sense for women to date at all. Or if they do they must be extremely cautious. Most violent acts are committed by men, the gender of the victim is irrelevant. Therefore it’s stupid to get involved with men.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 03:37 AM
1

If this is true then why don’t men gain attention from a woman and then just constantly validate her to keep her?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 03:21 AM

Exactly. Just goes to show how conditioned women are to make sex=love.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/23 07:39 PM
3

Society conditions women to believe they need to be in love to have sex or they are a slut. Because of this many women get mixed up emotionally about sex. In order to not feel like a low value slut they have to “be in love” in order to get out of that thinking and just have sex without making it about “love” they would need to have a bunch of casual sex but because that would make them sluts they’re back to where they’ve started. Getting attached or attaching themselves to something that is phys…

It’s not a big deal to stand out in a dating pool that has shrunk down to a stagnant puddle because the majority of the best options have married out of the dating pool.

You have control of yourself and reactions. If you are in a situation in which you are afraid you can choose to get to safety or remain in the situation. If someone acts like an asshole you get to chose if you will also act like an asshole or move on. The entire world is full of stimuli and we have little control over what comes at us. We have control of our own behavior.

I don’t agree. I do crave and want the special intimacy that sex and romantic relationships hold but since I don’t have it I create it the best I can in other areas.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/23 05:43 AM
5

Every single person has control of one thing. We are in control of ourselves and our responses to stimuli. You choose how things affect you. You got burnt out doing hobbies and things you choose to enjoy? That’s insane! I thrive off of the things I enjoy because I choose to see the joy in those things and in the other successful parts of my life. There are plenty of things in my life that are not ideal, including my romantic/ dating life, but I choose not to dwell on those things.

I find it challenging to listen to people of any gender whine about self imposed problems and then rant against the problem (women in this case) instead of solving the problem.

This is pretty standard in places where women don’t have opportunities in the workforce and equal access to money. It was standard in western nations when women did not have those rights.

Most couples are reasonably equally matched. Average joes and janes end up together, below average joes and janes together, educated joes and janes and so on. The plain janes and average joes do end up together. Now in order to survive, many people don’t have to settle for negative, toxic and abusive average Joe or plain Jane and they choose to be single.

Yes. All people look better in nice, neat, clean, well fitted clothes. I don’t think the fashion is that important. It doesn’t have to be trendy, if you have a unique sense of style and want to show it off, you should. Easy examples would be people with a goth type or preppy type look. You rarely see people with 2 glaringly different styles coupled up. I want to add that all people should treat dating in a business type manner. If you were a business and trying to attract customers, what would y…

Before I had kids I would not have dated a single father. As a parent I prefer to date other parents because they understand the demands of parenting. Ideally I would date someone who has children similar in age to mine. My kids are teens and are less of a commitment than little kids. My teens drive and have jobs. They’re responsible with their schoolwork. They can cook and wash their own clothes.

I think HIV helped the evangelical movement. The super Christians were able so use it to blame and shame. God is punishing us and all of the sinners. They and HIV made homophobia rampant. I think that time period caused us to be in what the other commenter said a Muslim like country.

Pre WWII and during the war women worked either on their farms or in the labor force. After WWII society changed there was a suburban migration and women were forced out of their war jobs to give birth to the baby boomers.

This sub is pretty much full of men complaining about women. Sometimes I’d like to tell them that their miserable attitudes are why they don’t get women not because women are whatever they say. They’re unable to hide their frustration and anger so they take it out on the women who are around them deriving those women away and creating a vicious circle.

I think money allows people to take better care of themselves and be happier. Many men that I have dated or met through dating apps are average or just a bit above. Some of them had careers that seemed lucrative. I’m in my 40s and date men in my age group, most of the men I’ve met as potential partners have come across as angry or bitter. The longest I’ve gone has been at least a year and a half. I don’t remember when my ex and I last had sex but it had been a while. Currently, I am getting close to a year without sex. I’m pretty and I know I could just go out and get laid. I have not prioritized dating, to be honest my few attempts have been demoralizing. Masturbation and electronics have guaranteed returns without all of the headaches that come with relationships.
