Well, a lot of it isn't strictly 'feminist' so much as it's just plain anti-male and anti-MRA, and some of the time they slip these anti-male messages into otherwise okay articles - I'll include a a few of these too. ...but that's often their only redeeming quality. Besides that, they're frequently either along for the ride, only supporting characters, or are in trouble constantly and require rescue. Not for everyone to cry about a poster they saw on a wall that makes them feel sad. See, I was kinda' agreeing with you up to here; maybe you meant something different by "poster on the wall", but a poster usually means that a group of people, or an organisation, is being 'sexist', and I think that that should be discussed. What annoys me is people crying over singular persons' facebook statuses and the like. That's the stuff that I hate to see upvoted and treated as serious/threatening.

The same thing happens in the Tony Hawks series; you can smack all the males around with your skateboard that you want, but if you try to do the same to a female character, the game won't let you - in fact, if you even so much as stand next to a female they will push you over for no particular reason. I'm a tad ashamed to admit that I'm participating in youtube comment arguments, but the amount of people trying to justify this shit in the comments is damned gobsmacking. I mean, I can even see feminists getting angry with this, cos' it's also teaching this kid about sexualising women from a young age. I remember showing a teacher of mine, unsurprisingly, a proud feminist, this video when a student brought it up in class; we all watched it, I commented on the fact that she was harassing the man and my teacher replies with "Well, he deserves it; just look at the way he looks her up and down before she says it". Yep, I've mentioned this double standard to guys I know in passing before and got the same reaction; I guess it's hard to look at these things rationally when you've had "you don't hit girls" drilled into your brain since childhood. Kinda makes me sad to think that some men are a PART of the problem when it comes to the decline in men's rights.
