That's like saying it's not immoral to take money from a thief who took money from a guy he just stuck up Either you believe taxation is theft (it isn't) or you don't. Hayek was a hypocrite. That's fine. Hypocrisy alone doesn't invalidate his ideas however, the sheer stupidity of his ideas invalidate them

Eh. I think that there are people from these backgrounds that you could never tell are from these backgrounds, and having grown up only knowing one side of my family, it was never any worse or inconceivable to have not known my father's. To each their own but discounting a pretty significant part of the population over something as trivial as that is silly and entitled imho.

That's a bit cruel when you realize not everyone can be on good terms with their family, much less even know their family; some peoples parents abandon them, or are so heavily abusive to them, and by extension would likely be abusive to any grandchildren, that being close with them isn't doable

Incorrect. Height really has nothing to do with whether you're confident or not

Its complete pseudoscience in the vain of "body language readers" saying they can tell if someone is truthful based on whether their shoulders are slouched or not Some of the worst people I have ever known were facially symmetrical.

Yeah women talk about this among themselves all the time. Wasn't aware until I got my first girlfriend. Honestly surprised me because guys rarely if ever talk about who they're sleeping with, or what they're like, and especially never in vivid detail. It's always vague and generalized.

Why is a dumb question because I can just as easily ask why not? I doubt you'll have very good answers to that. I'm glad everything worked out for you but if you're interested in someone it costs you nothing to just ask them out rather than trying to subtly convey you're interested and expecting them to do all your work for you. There's nothing wrong with initiating. The world would be a better place if people were just upfront about what they want.

Should've stopped being lazy and just asked him out yourself.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
