We need something new that unites both, makes both work together, and promotes healthy relationships

the first 5 minutes he was going on and on about how 10% of men and 50% of women get attention. Is that what the entire video is about?

They didn't have to specify the gender and no one would know

it's good to have you here. it's strangely reassuring to know that one is not alone in facing these sort of weird tendencies. though it can be not as bad in the real world in my experience as some of these online communities

Thank you, very productive take. We need unity not division for sure. Surely what we are trying to achieve applies to most people not just men. So the discussion needs to be happening in that framework too. We need welcoming and support of those who's interests in a fair society aligns with ours. The discussion has to be civil enough to attract more people. Currently we are a very tiny minority.
/r/MensRights04/07/25 09:36 AM

You are not wrong. I just see this anger spilling over onto each other too much. Disagreements don't have to be confrontational and antagonistic.

I'm not advocating for shutting down venting by any means. But adjusting the framing could go a long way.

Who cares what modern society supports. Whatever you are doing, do it for yourself not for others. If it's being a 'masculine man' whatever that means for you - by all means. If it's going your own way and enjoying life - good for you.

How you not using the AI tools makes them any different? I'm just trying to figure the logic. Also any decent one out there requires phone number verification.
/r/MensRights30/06/25 06:18 PM
1

I wish the word masculinity vanished from the modern vocabulary. People often misuse it and it's usually bundled with all sorts of baggage. Just be a version of yourself that you like and respect. If you got it, people will follow. If you don't, then no point in trying to be who you aren't. Personal agency and responsibility, people

A therapist, even with insurance, is prohibitively expensive Not only that, often the quality of the help is abysmal. /r/stopdrinking is full of stories of therapists encouraging ex alcoholics to drink again 'to reduce stress'

Let's not descend to radfem level. It's the other way around - only those tend to get power, who actively seek it and try to prove something, which requires extra effort, which filters out mature/reasonable ones sadly

Funny how feminists always "care" about the lives of people half the world away in distant nations-IF they happen to be WOMEN If only; I'd respect them more if they did. Women in middle east often still treated as property, they don't blink an eye; all that feminists care about is 'revenge' and getting >50% female, preferably feminist, leadership job positions.
/r/MensRights03/07/22 08:38 PM
99

They'll brush it off as "provocation". "Some of these just blacked out drunk and were robbed". Also feminists don't give a shit about "non-west" countries.

Some of the gems. Some may be satire, can't tell anymore. Guys in this thread, you need to chill. I cannot wrap my head around why or how you think its valid to even be in this comment section Why is everyone acting like one of the most powerful white men in the world winning a lawsuit against a woman is something surprising? All I could find is her role reduced to 10 minutes. she'll struggle to get roles as lots of people will boycott a film simply because she's in it I'm not so sure about that. There are way more people boycotting Nestle (for very good reasons) yet it seemingly has little to no impact. Comparing to that, Heard is a non-event. On a big scale of things this boycotting is done by a margin of error number of people and it ends up making not much difference.

I don't agree with telling someone to fuck everything in sight (or rather everyone they want), for reasons explained above. However, telling someone they can't do that, is not inherently any different. You just don't know what's best for a particular person - if that's what they want to do. Chances are it will reveal to have been a bad choice, but for someone who dies of cancer at 35, maybe not so much. My main point here, whatever you do, don't blame anyone but yourself just because you changed…
/r/MGTOW30/04/21 08:37 AM
1

Almost everything has advantages and disadvantages. It's not up to me and you to tell someone what's best for them. Just like it's not up to those telling others to "fuck everything in sight"
/r/MGTOW29/04/21 05:45 PM

Older women told them to have fun and fuck everything in sight. There's nothing wrong with that advice. Problem is many want that and a stable relationship at the same time
/r/MGTOW29/04/21 08:38 AM

To be fair on her it is certainly possible to avoid eye contact in a disrespectful manner (edit: during a conversation). However at this point no matter what you do there will be someone offended by it. We need to be more tolerant or something "as if he saw an embodiment of sine and evil" Objection your honour, plaintiff cannot know what was happening inside defendant's mind

/r/MensRights16/03/21 09:02 AM

That's a very broad suggestion. Specific circumstances are nuanced and extremely difficult to judge objectively - you'll never be able to get the full picture. In ideal world every issue would be judged individually, by a completely objective group of individuals, but let's face reality

/r/MensRights16/03/21 12:34 AM

Agree in principle but in practice courts are biased. Prenups suck and usually make either one or the other party an asshole, might as well live unmarried.

Because she didn't invest time in her career and is now less capable of sustaining herself. In theory it's supposed to be based on the ratio of the income - genders could be reversed in principle (which often happens in some non-backwards countries; aren't many of those though)

Fast forward 5 years, every sport team who doesn't want to get stoned by the fans during the game will have to have exactly 50/50 male/female player split, (potentially with equal number of transgender players among each group) If the straight male portion of the players scores the most, they get stoned anyway

You completely ignored my question yet demand me to tell you blah blah. But I'll humor you: as I said earlier, all we should teach is not to discriminate based on sexuality.
/r/MensRights01/08/20 07:42 AM
3

You're suggesting teaching ideology from young age. Want me to remind you where it got us in the past?
/r/MensRights01/08/20 07:30 AM
3

You clearly have some issues around sexuality, considering your uncalled for previous attack on /u/korea0rbust. Obviously it's essential for a modern human to learn about all these things. However these things are very personal and mostly subjective, and when a child is especially impressible, it's not acceptable for teachers or anyone besides parents/carers to decide on what these views will be
/r/MensRights01/08/20 07:25 AM
2

Correction, all we should teach kids regarding the issue is that it's not okay to discriminate against people who are homosexual
/r/MensRights01/08/20 07:15 AM
2

I'll confirm it for you, you got some issues
/r/MensRights01/08/20 07:11 AM
2

I'm just saying that's life and you cannot shield your kids from it successfully. Even if you can shield from school, there will be college. You shield from that, there will be job. Better try to give the tools to deal with it and hang around the people with similar values
/r/MensRights01/08/20 05:09 AM
1

That's true in theory but difficult in reality. You don't want your kid to be "that guy", just teach them what's what instead (yeah I know it's hard)
/r/MensRights01/08/20 03:42 AM
3

I personally don't get the "left/right" thing but do understand your concern especially around education. It's absolutely necessary for kids to be around other kids and to learn to deal with difficult situations and difficult people. It's extremely hard on the parents though. Kids are one way with their parents and completely different with their mates. It's all messy

Marriage as a concept goes back in the day. Just because it's been mutilated recently doesn't mean we have to abolish it. We need to fix it.
/r/MensRights14/06/20 02:45 AM

This will only resolve small portion of the symptoms. This is just one of many side effects of the anti-male society we live in. There are plenty decent men and women who should be married. We just need to restrain the lunatics
/r/MensRights14/06/20 01:16 AM

It's a self fulfilling prophecy. I imagine it's very challenging to love someone as jaded, bitter and damaged as the person who wrote the screenshotted post. Which just reinforces their belief "we don't feel loved" - haha, what else did you expect. It's just you though, not all women.

/r/AntiFeminists16/05/20 01:29 AM

Women are oppressed in certain countries. But that's not important to "western" feminists at all - only selective equality of outcome is. Because they cannot benefit from exploiting the fact that women in certain countries weren't allowed to drive until recently. They live in a different world. Revolting.

I'm talking about biological homosexuality, the one that happens in animals. Why do we never hear about "heterosexual 10 year olds"? Because there is no manifestation of sexuality at that age.
/r/AntiFeminists04/02/20 06:45 PM

There's being gay, and there's thinking you are. You know how you started feeling funny around girls/boys when you were in school? You cannot be gay before that age. Everyone who claims, doesn't know what it means.

Are you trying to say this "There're plenty of kids who decide they're homosexual well before puberty" is not true? When did you decide you were hetero? Why are you making assumptions about my sexuality? I did not specify it. Anyway, I do happen to be heterosexual, and "no one had to tell me or convince me" precisely because heterosexuality is not campaigned nor promoted. Just in case I'm taken out of context: I have nothing against homosexual individuals and believe everyone has equal freedoms …

Agree with you on patriarchy, except for many middle eastern and third world countries. It the west, it was an issue in the past. When it's being used in an argument about sexism now, is a bit like when slavery is brought up in the context of modern people in an argument about racism. (edit: rephrased)
/r/AntiFeminists08/01/20 09:18 AM

Abstract, theoretical feminism tries to achieve symmetrically fair conditions for both genders. There is a problem of women and men being disadvantaged in different areas, we do need to resolve those somehow, and once those are resolved there will be no need for feminism. I doubt feminism in its current state is capable to resolve those problems however. In reality it is a supremacy club like you say, and one which mostly addresses problems selectively. But it wasn't meant to be.
/r/AntiFeminists07/01/20 10:52 PM

Some rough ideas. Principles must be "obviously kind", constructive, ethical, simple and unambiguous. Measures must be effective at getting others to do the right thing (talking about unambiguous, i know). It should take responsibility over certain problems normally attributed to other movements. For example, a story about a female victim raped and murdered? That's not feminism material, that's a crime against humanity and we should be all over it. Feminist involvement here should be tangental. …
