Do you stay home while he goes to work? Would you be open to cooking a bunch after he leaves for work and then eating cold veg or quick warmed up in the microwave, all meal prepped and what not? Then you have alllll day to have the windows open to dissipate any smell. I didn't take out a loan, I saved, but Lasik was a game changer for me - I can't hide behind my glasses anymore, I have to do my makeup or I don't look so hot. I also trim my own hair, but nothing replaces a good stylist doing a number on your 'do. That is absolutely worth it to me.

Don't rush out to deck your house out right away, and give it a few weeks before you think about painting! It helps to see the flow of light through the house before you commit to any paint colors. My husband bought me three fermentation crocks for my birthday this year! A ceramic one, a plastic one, and a 5 gallon sauerkraut bin with a wooden masher. I do eat it now. I had/have a weird thing about bones and gristle, so I tend to shy away from poultry. He also helped me work through that - while we were dating, he would bring over meat and walk me through as much prep as I could handle, and then he would finish the cooking when I was over it. Now I can damn near anything start to finish and even eat it when it's done!

Haha, it's not a simple response kind of thing, because there are different processes for curing meats based on what the meat is and what your final product is. I like a website called honest-food.net, because my husband is a hunter and I needed to learn how to cook and save wild game! I have done corned venison and good breast pastrami so far, with plans to do salami next deer he get. I use https://www.neutrogena.com/skin/skin-acne/rapid-clear-stubborn-acne-spot-gel/6802461.html , which is what Target had, and it has worked great for me. Skincareaddiction has a whole master list of chemical exfoliants based on your skin type - mine is mostly dry, so this works well for me. Oilier skin needs something a little stronger. They love Neutrogena over there, which is nice because they are fairly cheap!

When we did the Bourbon Trail down in Kentucky, we found an oak barrel scented candle, which is the start of bourbon and my brewer husband's favorite scent ever! My problem is, he doesn't like girly floral scents, lemon reminds him of his mom, and anything vanilla or cinnamon gets him disappointed when he finds out I'm not baking anything! Huh, my bedroom is almost always clean, because I've made that the haven of my household. Our bed has pretty, fresh linens on it, and I only keep clothes in there. No television, no computers, no storage, nothing! And I don't bring clothes up unless they are folded and ready to be put away. I HATE GRILL PANS. They don't cook well or give you instagrammable charred lines, and they definitely don't impart smoky good need to your food. I'm gonna say it's based on where you are. My sister's ring is pretty average for an engagement ring, and hers was $6000. I work with nurses, and I don't think a single ones cost less than $10,000. My favorite date night is where one of us picks a recipe, the other shops for it, and then we cook it together. After we eat it, we write down a detailed journal entry of what we did and liked and changed and hated, etc. So we have two years worth of date night entrees and the little memories that go with them. Since we've been married, though, this has started to become a 3-4 night a week thing! I'm not complaining, though ;)

One of my cardinal rules is to not nag, since it is entirely counter-productive with him. My father and my husband are eerily similar, so years of watching my parents interact has given me a good idea of how my husband will respond to my actions and attitude. We both have metal detectors, but we usually just take one - he searches, and I dig, and then we trade tools. We mostly find junk, but we're holding out hope for gold! We bike all over the place - it's how we found the house we are now buying! We go through the neighborhoods by us so it's quiet enough to chat and download about our day.
