I dont know if id even recommend something like speed dating tbh, i tried that once and found it was good to see people straight away rather than text first, but ultimately didnt meet anyone. Made two matches but they were both a bit strange too i realised after going on proper dates.

I was going to ask what the thoughts were on SatC etc. I got into podcasts looking back at different shows and its nice to revisit it, even if my opinions have changed a lot lol. Edit: have binged friends a few times and didnt ship Ross and Rachel the last time i watched it. Did watch the Friends reunion then they had the finale episode after and it was like stay on the plane! Just so manipulative.

There was a great book about Cleopatra i read ages ago, fiction but the author did her research similar to this book. Also if you look at the coins from that time, shes not portrayed as a 'typical' beauty, saw them in an exhibition/history class. I would definately read this book 👑

A revenge torture scene 😐 but i agree, a lot of these scenes werent necessary. and only like 2 mins was used. Its super messed up, the actress said shes got pdsd from it. The ending for her character was awful.

Last year i got unmatched because i didnt want something casual in march. He didnt seem to believe in covid. Its like yeah ill risk my familys safety so you can bang a bunch of people. Realised it wasnt a good time to be on OLD 😅 deactivated my profile. Can agree that constant vetting would be a must, even post FDS discovery.

Only met IRL one person on BFF, we went to a concert together back when i wouldnt go by myself. I think were still FB friends 🤷🏼‍♀️ otherwise found it very much like same interests, no one really stood out as someone id want to be friends with.

After a few posts about the Male Gaze, i sure notice it more. Im doing more study and the guys will literally just stare at you when youre in the common school areas. I hate it. Last time i saw my ex, wed had lunch and walking back to his place. He was walking so far ahead i slowed down and was going to walk a separate way back to my car when he came back and said What are you doing? Like he was confused i wasnt sprinting to keep up with him. Ended up blocking him not long after that. Eye opening that other women have had this happen too, makes me feel better.

Started doing this more this year, wearing sunglasses is great to help with avoiding eye contact. I can still feel them staring though, which seems weird i havent noticed this as much. Maybe i was in my pickme bubble or the pandemic has made scrotes more obvious

Theres so many 😅 one that comes to mind is paying 50/50 for a hotel room for a ONS from OLD then the guy didnt even bring condoms. I went out to buy them 🤡 he obviously had a partner since he wouldnt have me over at his house, said his 'roomates' were religious/conservative. Big yikes.

Had a conversation on OLD last year with this guy who was shocked id been single for over a year. He confessed hed recently gotten out of a long relationship i think and was rarely single. Didnt seem to get that you need time to process stuff in between relationships. Honestly its a red flag even asking about your history like that if its guys and no ones business. Like the others say, just turn it back on them.

Drove him around, had a walk date, got pizza, i paid for it, went back to his place (huge red flags looking back).
