Comments like yours are why trans people have the highest suicide rate in the United States.

Honestly, this sub doesn't even pretend to not be transphobic anymore. Even adult trans persons this sub is awful for. The real gender equality is long gone from here. Braincels, incels, and angry old men have taken over. It's not about equality of sexes anymore. I'm glad to unsubscribe.

I find more and more of this sub is getting transphobic. Between this horrible editorializing of a title, and ton of comments being "I'd have identified as a woman to change there" (which is fucking perverted to even joke about) I'm getting pretty damn sick of this community. It's getting as toxic as the toxic feminists are.

I'm not commenting on the quality of the candidates (I'm Canadian so my opinion doesn't really matter), merely pointing out we've had a test sample already.

We had that already. There's always the "x only voted for xx because xx is a woman" argument, but a lot of women didn't vote for McCain because of Sarah Palin in '08. Biden, a democrat man, was more popular than Palin, a republican woman.

Boys are getting backlash for teasing the victims. The victims of this "prank" aren't getting the backlash.

Bad example. Brock Turner is widely known and accepted as a rapist though. There's barely even a claim to the contrary. Brian Banks would know better.

They don't allow screenshots, and she's deleted the tweet, so I couldn't.

It's extremely troubling, especially since Demi's a survivor or assault herself. What's as troubling to me, is how many rape apologists are defending her.

There's really quite a few rape scenes, and a few consensual sex scenes. Including the above character raping a girl while she's passed out drunk, no consent given; and another one where same character forced himself onto the subject character. Season two delves deeper in this guy, and basically reveals he's a serial rapist, getting women extremely intoxicated and raping their passed out bodies. There's also a scene where the main character attempts sex with his girlfriend, fails to maintain an …

This season does show a pretty brutal rape of a male teenager as well. It shows men can be victims of sexual assault.

If you spent a little more time, you'd see that ZERO restrictions is a little hyperbole. The Parole Review Board found that while taking his meds, he posed no significant threat, and by law, were obligated to parole him. If he were to stop taking meds and no longer seek counselling, he would pose significant threat. Not exactly zero restrictions.

It's about attention. Vice targets a female demographic, so their attention grabbing efforts are skewed towards women. It's like why the top 40 radio station will talk about breast cancer, and the classic rock station talks about prostate cancer. Just being relevant to the audience.

Ignoring the commie comment, in what world have the Tory's gotten more right than Liberals or New Democrats?

What about the part where Jimmy is raped by his de jure wife?

The unfortunate piece is, that this does represent far too much of the queer communities view. We've got lots of work to do.

I think it needs to start within the queer community. I did an LGBTQ+ radio show over the summer where I addressed the idea of Misandry and Heterophobia, and had a lot of calls from people who believe that neither of these exist. It needs to be called out at all opportunities, and I encourage you to start with your queer friends and have that discussion with them.

As a gay man, I couldn't agree more. It's quite rampant.

As a gay man, I can personally attest that this particular "news" source is incredibly bad. They're pathetically biased, often incorrect and just plain stupid most of the time. Please do not assume this page displays the opinions of all gay men.

Good guy Coronation Street. I remember my father being a huge fan my entire life, and watching it all day Sundays. They tackle quite a few "ahead of their time" issues.
