I agree that men are lacking purpose in today's society, but, being able to discus feelings is important regardless of gender. Your response here is exactly the type of (dare I say) toxic masculinity that keeps other men from opening up and keeps these events strictly in the "surprise" category. Until men can express themselves and find a way to talk about what's hurting, they will continue to "unexpectedly" drop out of the game.

No, and that's part of the problem. These men often don't feel capable of openly expressing their inner turmoil because there's an uninformed audience out there ready to say exactly what you're saying here. "Why do you feel that way when you have everything?" He doesn't have everything. He didn't have what mattered to him. The growing societal disconnect between human conditions (depression, divorce, w/e) that drive people to permanent action and their avenues for treatment (counseling, retireme…

So, for me, I cheat my system. Let me explain. Let's start with what I know. I am human; I have goals and ambitions that are achievable. I also have days with no motivation. This is normal, and to know this gives me an edge. How do I exploit myself out of a bad day? Here's an example. I set my alarm for 6:00 every day. My body will wake up naturally around then but I used to usually go back to bed. On bad days, I wouldn't get out until noon. Sleeping in despite all my goals and desires for the d…

Who cares how they look at you man. Who cares how much you spend. You can make a $1 pizza trip way more fun then a $100 dinner date. Entertain yourself and she will follow. $1 pizzas do the trick for some but not for others. Just be you, and be a man about it.

I could say the same for whatever you spend your cash on. Your comment is irrelevant and pointedly rude. In fact, writing it was a waste of time that could be spent making you more $.

ad ho·mi·nem adverb & adjective (of an argument or reaction) directed against a person rather than the position they are maintaining. What you are describing is a stereotype.

So, as I understand it, to make sure his LTR doesn't break his trust, you suggest OP break her trust and install a keylogger. You think this is an appropriate action to take because women should be held to different standards than men e.g. it is fair and reasonable to break her trust because she is a woman but not fair for her to break OP's trust because he is a man. So, again, you're holding an LTR to a higher standard then you hold yourself. Then, you must admit your LTR is of higher quality t…

Both actions are a breach of personal integrity and trust in a relationship. I don't see what's so BP about that mentality. Why should I hold my LTR to a higher standard than I hold myself? I guess it's no surprise that someone who can't trust his LTR is attracting LTRs the will cheat. Read the sidebar and start improving yourself instead of relying on keyloggers and shady tactics to control a relationship.

Well guys are here to learn which means they don't know. This sub has grown astronomically since it's inception so the ratio of learned RP men to new RP cadets is of course going to diminish. These new guys upvote keyloggers and bad advice because it masquerades as the RP truths they come to the sub for. It's our job to point out how these suggestions AREN'T RP so these new guys can figure that out. That leads into your second comment about how some of the info on this sub is useful. You glean f…

I see your point that these guys may not be up to par yet, but I still think it's abhorrent thing to do and a gross violation of personal privacy. Beyond that, how is it going to help? If you find out your girl is cheating via a keylogger, how are you any better than her?
/r/TheRedPill15/06/16 03:09 AM

Why in hell do you think a keylogger is an appropriate thing to do? It's blatantly disrespectful and a complete breach of trust and privacy. If you know AWALT then you should be prepared for whatever. You shouldn't have to sneak around like a bitch to make sure your girl isn't cheating on you. If she cheats, you leave. Abundance mentality. If you're so convinced she's going to cheat on you you certainly aren't: Fucking her well Passing comfort and shit tests Demonstrating alpha qualities. To go …

This is an old poster from crimethinc (labeled on bottom left of poster). They're an anarchy advocate and sell a bunch of merch like the poster. They're drawn to far-fetched ideals like feminism. I remember seeing it on their site as far back as maybe 2008-09. Just some background for those interested.

My attention is as much on myself as it can be. Also, I have already been doing much of what you suggested for a while now. I'm just getting to that point now where nothing is enjoyable.

Male friendship would be nice. The males around me are gone, or beta, or busy. I have experience with dmt (though not in it's Ayahuasca variant), shrooms, and acid. They are all very enjoyable. I think a lot will improve once I'm back on campus, and I see what you're saying about game. That's the way I view everything. I can always improve.

I'm not having lots of fun. I keep hoping I will, but I don't. There aren't many of those happy and positive girls here, in my experience.

Well thank you, then, for guiding me away from that path. I'll make an honest effort to improve. But man, I don't even get any "fun companionship" when I'm with girls. Being around them feels more like it's just something to do that's probably better than sleeping.

I've only been to a few parties. They were small and relaxed which I like. When I say I'm out a lot I'm referring to my time spent downtown, hiking, meeting friends of friends. That sort of thing.

Meaningful conversation isn't all I want. But I see what you're saying. You were right in saying my problem is misplaced desire. I want something that doesn't exist and am spiteful. It's something I'll try to work on this year. I guess I'm also wrong in saying I'm redpill. I clearly still have a long way to go. But is it bad to ask for more than sex? Speaking from experience with several SSRI's, I can definitely confirm. Zoloft was, coincidentally, the worst. I threw all my pills out one day, went through the weird Zoloft withdrawal, and noticed a sharp spike in libido afterwards. I'm not here to tell you what is and isn't "normal", but if you want a solution you might try dropping the meds.

I must confess that club/bar/party scenes are my least favorite way to meet people. Everybody is in attendance for the sole purpose of getting laid (or at my age, because there is free flowing booze). And any alpha I may see at one of these events is only alpha enough to get attention from ladies. He's the loud mouthed, in-your-face, 'I'm better than you' alpha that I hate to deal with. I guess it's interesting to note the varying degrees of Alpha that can present themselves.
/r/TheRedPill15/07/13 06:52 PM
6

Alpha isn't entirely about getting laid my man. Alpha, at least to me, is the man who lives for himself. If he wants women, he gets them. He needn't go to elaborate lengths to maybe sleep with a 17 year old. He chooses a career based on his interests, not his dick. He lives a life where perhaps the only person who can sway his opinion is himself.

It's red-pill short hand (if you can call it that) for mankind's love of rationalizing everything. I.E. I (pretending to be a woman) am not single because I'm a bitch, I'm single because men can't handle how unique I am. or I (beta) am not getting laid not because I'm lame, but because I simply have not complimented her enough.

I didn't think of it like that. But still, by being a loud mouth fuck head about MRA she draws attention to it.

TheRedPill is a civil subreddit. If you don't want to discus a topic like an adult then I don't think you'll find much here for you.
/r/askTRP06/04/13 10:45 PM

I think you are wrong. Generalizations exist for a reason. These women do exist. And there are many of them. It's not poor experiences by one person who then wrote an article. It's a common encounter. Don't discredit an entire article because you haven't seen the people the article is trying to address.
/r/askTRP06/04/13 10:42 PM
6

Why are you here? If you're trying to argue a point be civil and grown up about it. Discrediting him and "not giving a fuck" about his point of view simply because you have a different opinion is juvenile.

I like this because it shows the exact opposite of what a woman really wants. An Alpha that takes when he wants.
/r/TheRedPill06/04/13 04:58 AM

By calling "complete bullshit" are you trying to discredit the entirety of the article simple because it generalized "all girls"? Are you trying to imply that because there are the rare few quality women the article is complete trash? If so I'd suggest you rethink.

In all honesty I view this sub as a place Alphas can come to relax a bit. I don't think you need to be Alpha all the time. Certainly not here. The benefits of the Endorsed Contributors flair are great. It helps find true RedPill ideas and responses in an increasing amount of WhiteNight bullshit. This sub is already starting to get it's fair share of downvote brigades that make it hard to find helpful information. I'm right there with you. I came about this sub around when you did and it was phenomenal. Full of great, quality posts. It's certainly not lacking quality, but I think it's starting to change its direction. I remember when there was less then a full page of posts. Almost every damn one of those posts made me a better man whereas now I find posts that just reinforce what we all already know.

I have these same fears. I don't want this sub to devolve into people circlejerking their red pill superiority. I don't want to have whoreds (heh) of angry feminists storming through and fighting us. I don't want a bunch of blue pills white knighting either. I like the discussion we can freely have here. But as we grow and grow I fear we may lose what makes this place so valuable.

The reason I think the reference is so good is because it so aptly fits with what the red pill is. Once you fully understand the situation men are in today it literally feels like being pulled out of the matrix. You begin to see through the falseness the saturates a feminist society. Where you see a normal beta man (or Businessman/Lawyer in the Matrix analogy) I see someone who doesn't understand that he's been manipulated his whole life. He doesn't need to be a "nice guy" to get laid. He doesn'…

I'm not surprised by this, but I think a lot of us are here because we've already felt a great deal of pain in our lives. The truth, to me anyway, was a relief. I was so concerned that I was wrong and somehow I couldn't fix it. Finding out that this is a common problem and coming to terms with the truth helped me a great deal more than the lies I was feeding myself.

This is true. Redpillschool suggested I write something like a "Did this offend you" post potentially for the side bar. I'm thinking that I'll put in stuff like this. That the red pill isn't fun. It isn't nice. And if you don't like that, that's fine. Go back to seddit and mensrights. I'll include a lot of what I learned from this post and all the comments I've received.

I see what you're saying. And I agree. You make a good point. Moving this sub in a more PC direction certainly isn't going to help. I was misguided in thinking we should try to get more RedPill-ers by appearing more calm. Like you said. They're here because they already see a problem. And those are the real people we want here on this sub.

My man, first thing I have to say is you're not getting Jane. And that's okay. Where you're headed you don't need her. Drop the oneitis. How do I get over her then? You go out and Practice everything you read on seddit and here. You focus on improving your game. You learn from your mistakes and soon enough you'll be with plenty of women. Personal advice? Drop Jane as a friend. Sticking around as Just a Friend isn't fair to you.
