Ah, but that's only if you go by some specific legal definitions, which really doesn't make sense to do when qualifying the statement with "in the history of the world".

If you want to be with the bear then go. This has just made me think of another possible response: ask them what the bear said. If the bear's less dangerous, then surely she doesn't go to a man first? If she doesn't know any bears to ask, why not when there are evidently men she's willing to know?

@ Women choosing bear: why aren't you living in the woods with the bears, rather than in civilisation with the men?

The real problem is that she sees marriage as "submitting to" rather than "teaming up with" a man.

I would say instead of a flat 2x, make it the given/maximum/expected penalty plus whatever sentence was already served by the falsely accused. Since the punishment would increase the longer the innocent party was put away for, it provides an incentive to get the truth out sooner.

You've mischaracterised the question. This isn't asking "wHaT aBoUt ThE gUyS" but rather "Is this a female-specific issue after all?"

This is certainly one of those "equality feels like oppression" moments. Also, here's an idea... maybe just don't split up in the first place? Crazy, I know.

Thanks for the heads up; was considering swapping back over to them soon, since my contract just ended and they might have better signal than my current provider in the area I moved to recently, but definitely steering clear after this. Seeing sexism as a purely "men = oppressors, women = victims" issue is sexist in and of itself.

You can bet they wouldn't have reported on him trekking there in a hurricane and having to pay for them both.

Ironically, it's things like the FDS approach of seeking "maximum female benefit" (rather than, say, maximum benefit for all involved parties) that drives men to MGTOW in the first place. And then it's made even weirder by banning those who solve the problem of unsatisfactory dating experiences by occupying their time with other things instead, while taking no action against those who solve it by being completely selfish at the possible expense of their partner.

r/SelfAwareWolfkin is probably more accurate.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
