Sounds to me like you approach them in a fully logical state I’ve learned that this bores women to the core because they like to socialize based off emotions if you approach in a cold emotionless manner it won’t lure them in unless it’s a woman equally into socializing intellectually which 99% of them aren’t. What I personally like to use after stopping her, "listen, you can't just walk by looking this good like I'm supposed to just move on with my life" most of the time they smile, kind of creates instant rapport but if you don't have the smile and confidence to back it up you'll just come off as creepy so I'd suggest working on demeanor if you aren't used to approaching.
