And if he didn’t approach at all nothing would have happened.. What a weird negative spin. Good for him

Did you get lucky once in Seoul and that makes it number 1? That is quite the opposite of a promiscuous place haha

I’m sure some areas of Miami are better and closer to Fort Lauderdale

Not a fan of Miami, some can have success there but it’s this pissing contest of who has the most $, sexiest car, and highest status. It’s not the best brand of people LA is better than most but not as good as NYC/Chicago

Large dense and diverse populations are best. Chicago is great, LA is good, Phoenix, 3 major cities in Texas.

NYC you will have success in and much lower egos. It’s a diverse hodge podge of everything. I’ve never seen as much as success with women than when I lived in NYC

I stopped caring and soon the drought ended. I quit cold turkey any investment into women/dating and let things flow naturally. I’m happy with or without and don’t care

It’s also all about demographics and when you’re going. Results will always vary based on venue

You gotta have some degree of rapport and a back and forth. Shooting in the dark with your pretty can I get ur number is like shooting a 3pt blindfold in basketball. You could hit but at a real fucking low % rate

Brother, I’ve had girls who were as interested as you could imagine during a first date. Initiating, asking a bunch of questions, leaning in, initiating touch, mentioning seeing each other again etc and everything seemingly flows great and even kiss or sex at the end too sometimes. Some of these girls have ghosted me too after dates. Has blown my mind like I’m some kind of alien. Lesson I’ve learned is just be outcome independent, have fun and be carefree and never emotionally invest. Modern day…

This is the million dollar question. I’ve said this before but I’ve gone on many dates and so have some of my what I’d consider good looking friends with good jobs, fit, charismatic, tall, own house etc. and we all get ghosted left and right like there is no tomorrow. It’s tough out there for all of us

No fucking way Memphis is #1, I’d rather drag my balls through a mile of broken glass before choosing to live in Memphis

Basing politics around dating no matter where you stand isn’t ideal. I know super successful guys left and right that are successful and neither of them talk about their views dating and neither do I

There is definitely a common theme here where I’m going to have an “ah ha” because I’m cognizant I have the ability to get dates with quality girls. It’s that they seemingly view me as a doormat or some bum they never wanna talk to again. It’s crazy you’ll go from 3 weeks of chatting before you meet up and right after that date with zero heads up or intuition they ghost and it’s done

I think it’s 1&3 because girls do compliment upfront how interesting my life is and how it’s admirable I have a good job and lots of hobbies etc. like guitar, climbing, traveling and art
/r/seduction19/07/25 11:16 PM

That is true in hindsight, I’ve never once been ghosted by a girl I’ve kissed or hooked up with on a date

Do you think this is my “ah ha” moment and come to Jesus because I have the ability to get dates and matches no problem but me showing up in a very platonic way and not flirting just gets you ghosted about every time?

That’s a good one, I think art museum dates are great for many reasons. Activities are always good

Yeah that could be it with the picky women but it’s just weird how it’s 4x in a row and all the same thing seemingly fun and engaging first date to ghosted after. Goes to show stats and none of that matters. Maybe I lack confidence, I’m anxious, reveal too much about myself and I’m not a mystery but it obviously sucks when you work on yourself so much and get ghosted relentlessly after 1st dates. Maybe I should be asking what these girls are looking for? I hate diving super deep on a 1st date or…

It looks like we both date the exact same type of girls no different there for me and I have no issue landing dates with them. I consider myself a catch on the surface 6’2 fit, travel the world, great job, nice house and great social group. But none of that is relevant in these cases. I once slept through a date and missed it with a really attractive surgeon and she blew me up after how she can’t wait to see me and was being overly nice. I’m like huh I just stood you up and wasted your time by a…

I’m someone who typically likes to go on 2nd dates unless the person flat out sucks because you can get past any 1st date awkwardness and surface level shit and see if you vibe and connect deeper. Dating is such a mindfuck because the less you care and invest as the guy the more she comes to you. But of course when you lean in as the guy and show interest or reveal too much it’s game over. Do you think it’s also because girls have so many options on dating apps they don’t care for 2nd dates unle…

Potentially, but this is just such a common theme for me clearly something I’m doing is very off. I’ve never seen such a high degree of ghosting after 1st dates.

Good call, just unfortunately not with this girl. I’ve gotten 1 super dry lukewarm response in 36 hours since the date and she’s totally dropped off despite mentioning a 2nd date when we hugged goodbye. Modern dating is brutal

For example I liked this girls nails from Thursday night on the date, they suited her well. Maybe lightly grabbing her hand and saying let me see and complimenting them would be one.

I feel like I’m asking questions about them but I should lean into being a mystery and getting to know them. It’s always ironic the times where I’m not really invested and kind of a dick they are genuinely interested in you then and will come over with the drop of a hat. Dating psychology is so fucking wild. Intentionally disagreeing with them and playing this all backwards has results, I just hate being manipulative and not myself
/r/seduction19/07/25 01:54 PM

Do you have any good examples I could try for this? There is the common phrase to be interesting you need to be interested. I feel like I give too much info about myself to fill in space and I’m not a mystery at all
/r/seduction19/07/25 01:17 PM

Do u have any good examples? I also always like to do 2nd dates unless the girl flat out sucks to get to know each other better and see if there is any real chemistry. I can’t even fucking get there ever
/r/seduction19/07/25 01:04 PM

Not enough, the bare minimum I try to see if she will initiate any of that or play off her vibe when to lean in more

Do you have an actual tool you’re working on? I’m admittedly someone who can fire up a dating app and land many dates but by the same token I’m fucking horrible at escalating and getting beyond the 1st and 2nd dates. I’ve had some success but it’s more so trying to evaluate how am I fucking up so bad. I suck at building those instant connections where they’re interested and I keep trying lol

People hardly remember what you talked about, they remember how you made them feel. Try to derive your convos with that in mind. Boring small talk about your jobs in tech and your cool trip to Paris last year will be forgotten 2 hours later I promise

This is great and a good rec and you’ve had a lot of success doing this? Do make the convo man to woman the whole time? Also I think at the end of the day we as guys just want the girl to be genuinely interested and infatuated with us.

2016 and spending nights around Wrigleyville or river north was a fun time. Very walkable and lots of good concerts and live music throughout the summer too

Almost no influencer with be a quality girl to date and I’ve dated them. It is never long term and it generally sucks

Medicine by a mile. doctors, surgeons, PA’s. Has to be in the 30s for me in that field but I’m psycho and don’t like dating anyone dumber than me

I take these instances as learning experiences and try to understand how I can improve and what I can do better for my next relationship

Yeah I think at a certain point you either work towards long term or cut it off. It makes me feel awful we never had a conversation about this and how we were feeling. She preferred cutting it off over talking things over which means she had made up her mind

It's tough, this isn't easy. Feel absolutely gutted. I texted her taking the high road thanking her for everything and I enjoyed our time together and wished her the best.

This used to be man and we’re the same age. The change I made was incorporating touch, showing intent, giving compliments and getting rid of logical bullshit talk. Keep it fun and lighthearted and about the two of you and flirt. I went from next to zero 2nd dates to lays by date 3 regularly now. I know it’s frustrating I’ve been there, it sucks and is beyond draining. You got this, if I can flip it around you sure as shit can

Yes LA is diverse but I would say not as much in comparison to NYC and the proximity makes things so much easier. LA is very spread out, NYC is infinite options in a 5 square mile radius
/r/seduction08/08/24 05:36 PM

NYC by a mile. LA is much more spread out and the diversity and options alone NY wins. I bounce around a lot for work and the success I’ve seen in NYC is crazy compared to other cities.

Just tell him that, I typically get tired as hell after sex regardless if it’s my partner or not

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
