That article says 8 out of 10 cases are closed, not faked, no? That makes more sense to me. It’s difficult to prove rape honestly, and I’d expect most cases would be closed because they were unprovable. That doesn’t mean they were faked, just that a he said she said situation isn’t a winnable court battle. If im missing something here let me know. I’m all for men’s rights and think title 9 is completely fucked, but misrepresenting a stat like this isn’t going to help our argument...

Oh ya, I’m absolutely not defending her shitty actions. I’m just saying that it’s ridiculous to say she’s leaving cause she wants to get laid. She’s in an incredibly difficult situation as well (the guy absolutely has it worse don’t get me wrong) and it’s important to recognize that in order to avoid getting trapped in a cycle of hate. Let’s win by being better than her, not stooping to her level. Hope that makes sense.

Ya, cause there is absolutely no reason she should want to leave besides getting laid. Look, she’s wrong to leave him now like this, but it’s fair to recognize that she’s now in a position way beyond what people expect and anticipate.
