2	Standard of Living vs. Quality of life Nice post and good insight. I did this a few years ago as well, but since my education was worthless in western job markets, I never built up enough experience to compete for jobs abroad, or even home. So i went the back route and went to grad school in Asia. Make shit money, but the government bankrolls my education, all necessities are free, and the women are much easier than in the west.
