That they are bashed from all fronts and no one seems to care or help. I personally think the vast majority of incels are just regular people and it’s only the polarizing ones we normally hear about.

It would make sense. Having super low self esteem is certainly a prerequisite.

Not sure what the other comments are about but I agree with you that disrespect to men is conditional but to women it’s an absolute no no. I’m actually glad it’s that way because I have women in my family. I do however get annoyed when I get disrespected for no good reason. What helps is being an asshole and that usually avoids any problems for me. I’m a big guy but very friendly and open so I break the stereotype. But when I act more reserved then I don’t have issue.

Call me a hater but the woman in my engineering program were sub par. The interns we have at work who are female never follow through on projects and are waste my day asking me for help. They barely ever acknowledge the help too.

What a rubbish country to live in. No equal rights at all.

Hopefully it has an impact sooner than later. Women are taking up leadership positions and will not make decisions that will benefit men. But I think overall the more men drop out of society (not by choice but circumstance) the more this issue gets to light.

I no longer partake in that social norm anymore. Reason being is that I don’t feel like protecting or being a masculine male for woman (excluding my family) because of my life experiences. Woman have been unwelcoming and on many occasions disrespectful to me. I find it striking however when they change their attitude because they need to rely on my strength - I am a big guy. Needless to say woman are strong and independent so I don’t feel bad.

It’s a euphemism for you’re too ugly and yes I hate it a lot because I’m not particularly photogenic but yet get the creep treatment. To be fair I’m more of a brute if anything but in this day and age the bar for ugly is quite high. Love the dichotomy though of how woman love to spew all this body positivity crap and yet they will outright insult men like this. Some of the nicest guys I’ve met would be categorized as creeps by most millennial and gen z women.

I’m 26, my uncle went through the same as OP and he has changed- gotten a lot more colder than his jovial self. He’s now found a partner and seems to be doing better but the damage is done. I personally cannot see any reason to get married either. Woman these days aren’t loyal and do not respect their partners. I rather toil away for myself than to do it for a woman. That being said I manage to have my fun when I can so I’m not totally tilling out woman, only relationships.

Even prenups aren’t ironclad. They have been thrown out before. I’d just put all my assets under my mothers name and be done with it like that Moroccan soccer player.

I’m totally with you, white knights who put women in a pedestal are worse than scum. In this day and age we are all equal. If she needs help she can call the cops or emergency. Unfortunately these morons think that defending a woman will get them some attention and it never does.

I can’t imagine the horror of working hard to provide and take care of your family only to have your wife sleep around and for them to take your assets as an attempt to salvage some benefit from the fallout. It’s no surprise that as generations come, more men are dropping out of society such as getting married, university, etc. There just isn’t the social contract anymore that helped men persevere.
/r/MensRights10/05/23 07:08 AM

This is why I’ll never marry at all. My 20s are up and I’m now in a much better place as I’ve gotten older, financially speaking. I’m now getting attention I never had when I was younger and I know it’s because of the status/income.

What I find annoying is that as an ethical male, we get both short ends of the stick. When were we supposedly in charge? As far as I can tell, we are worse off in todays society.

Lol I’m an engineer and the female engineers we have are nowhere near on par with the guys. It’s anecdotal, yes, but this is true for all the female engineers we have. Zero determination, easy to ask for help/delegate. I have a laugh internally whenever I see then ask for some slack and then remember how much of a hardass my boss was to me during my internship, it made me better and I did produce a lot during that time. Can’t say the same for someone or the female engineers that’s for sure.

Canada is a real sh*thole guys in case you didn’t know. Besides the above, expect insane housing prices similar to Sam Francisco with barely the same pay. Doesn’t matter if your an engineer, you will own nothing just like everyone else.

I can see that happening. Girls now have access to the most photogenic looking guys on these apps and no longer rely on their locality or social connections anymore. Also in an interview which I can’t remember, a Japanese woman from Japan was talking about how she’d be open to sharing an alpha male with other women.

It is alienating unfortunately and lonely at times but i rather live with my head up than down in the ground. As much as we talk about men’s rights, a lot of men try to bring other men down especially those that seem to be struggling as it is. There’s no concept of brotherhood anymore.

I can resonate with what you posted. For some reason I’m always met with contempt and I’m not exaggerating when I say that but it’s always a mean or uninviting look my way or being generally cold to me. It’s been a struggle to say the least but the only way I’ve been able to take it into my stride is by adopting masculinity and thinking that I’m on the warriors path. I think it’s helped me accept this burden and at times my indifference can make things worse but I much rather follow this path th…

I don’t think location will matter. If you make a move and she likes you then that’s all she wrote. The issue is when a guy she doesn’t like approaches her. Also it might be okay to approach girls at a bar but she would still regret you albeit politely but even that you can argue can get a bit tough because she might say she’s doesn’t want to be bothered and is thrrr to be alone.

You know as much as I see these types of people, situations etc. on social media I can hardly say the same in real life and I live in a supposedly super liberal city. That being said not a fan of them of course - not a fan of any radical beliefs to be frank because moderation is the best.!

Because dating is terrible deal if your a male and aren’t “Chad”. It’s a superficial game without any thought about the long term. I prefer to stay single if it means I don’t have to be emotionally manipulated and taken advantage of. No matter what the outcome is, the Wall will always level the playing field.

If you never had a chance with woman in your early 20s then at least have the spine to not fall for the trick in your 30s. My coworker is raising his girlfriend’s child, I can’t imagine a worse outcome than that.

That’s the only way the math checks out here. Men and woman are in roughly the same ratios so if half of the men aren’t dating yet almost all woman are then it would suggest polygamy that the woman are enabling.

I appreciate the support buddy. I think us men should harbour more of this team spirit mentality and things would look a lot better for us. It does suck and my advise to those younger than myself is to be more empathetic. If you are more empathetic then you will realize that woman are more receptive to your appearance and that dressing sharply, weight lifting, and trying to improve your appearance aren’t necessarily bad things.

I’m drunk and want to vent - been single since high school and things just seem so hard. I could probably try harder but despite my failures, the current market is too competitive and there’s a mismatch between the market and buyers/sellers (seeking to date/potential suitors) in my opinion. Im now I’m my late 20s and I find it hard to feel motivated by anything. I feel like a wage slave and find it hard to do anything for the sake of doing a good job. Lol the gym has become such a disgrace. I cant imagine how it must be to walk inside a gym for the first time and seeing thots with their tripods and phones making TikTok videos - what a nightmare. People want to talk about toxic masculinity but that’s no where near as bad as feminism which is why these women feel entitled and obliged to go after men and to seek confrontation. This is pretty much my situation. Left home and went to another country for school and work. Don’t have any friends or avenue to meet people. I too tried OLD but I didn’t work for me. At this point I’m just trying to find things I enjoy doing alone and make sure I go to work as often as I can for some sense of community.

It’s not so hard, go to a bar on Sunday and see the men all by themselves. On a Saturday the men are standing by while the women are living it up and I mean taking shots, sniffing coke, making out. This one couple I saw, the female in the relationship was making out with strangers and the guy was acting like he was cool with it. If that’s not loneliness than I don’t know what is. That being said I’m a loner as well, if I ever go to a bar or club just know I’m alone but the difference is I’m to t…

Same boat as you buddy and yeah, accepting it has improved my life in some aspects. This is what happens when we normalize crazy. Women and the media have convinced us that it’s okay for the them to have guy friends and that’s baloney. Having said that, if I had a WIFE, there is no way in hell she’s even going to think about another guy, the hell is this fool doing letting them meet and all?

I’m against marriage because of the mental illness most women these days suffer. The odds of marrying one is too high and there’s no effective way to get them. Also marriage is heavily skewed on the male to ensure it works out, she has no stake in that. Women are so eager to just walk off, with half or more of your money of course.

This might be anecdotal but at my workplace all the woman office workers get a pass. “I’m working from home today, could someone do such and such for me?”, “I can’t do xyz, can you (male) do it?”. I used to help out but I noticed this trend and now I no longer do any of that. Hopefully the manager catches on.

As someone in a similar boat but is now 25, don’t pay attention to what others think. Live your own life, don’t life for others. If your introverted, it’s okay, and you don’t need a ton of friends to feel worthy. I recently just go my out of a toxic relationship and she threw the fact that I have social anxiety to my face. I don’t think I do have social anxiety, I just don’t like being around people but it didn’t matter because that was her view. It’s funny because she can’t even ride the train …
