I always felt like modern day western society was a (modern version) of Ancient Rome. Even our calendar month names ( January, February, March, etc.) are all named after Roman Pagan Gods and rulers and numbers. August= Augustus, October = “octo” in Roman means 8 etc. Valentines Day, a pagan Roman holiday about worshiping the female sex (lmfao no thank you)It’s crazy how similar the U.S and Rome are the same.
