2	I'm a beginner and need advice Yeah that’s not the way to do it. Why do you need their number so bad? So you can get to know them over text? Get to know them first and then ask for the number. Even if you did get the number asking for it right away, they aren’t going to text you. You have to build rapport, make them laugh etc. Notice when you did take the time to get to know them you got a better reaction.
