Bro I have no advice to give. This is above my pay grade. Just sympathy and encouragement to keep your chin up.

If you guys married in the US there might be a sliver of a chance to get the Diplomat's feet on the fire. Given that you married outside of the US, nothing can be done. What happened is a reflection of her and not you. If you can swing it, take an extended leave of absence from work and take time to heal, rejuvenate and piece yourself back together. A trip to a tropical paradise with lots of sun, beach and sea food. Perhaps bring a friend for the first week or two to help you stay balanced.

Poor choice on their part. Love and forgive them. Let them know that right now is not the time to judge and criticize but to embrace, love and support you during this life shattering event. Sure they may have warned you about "Sally" being trouble from the day they first saw her but... really? Pushing your snout on the proverbial pile of poo right now is not where they should be at. Kindly and lovingly let them know.

Do not leave your child alone with that woman. Get her the help she needs but you need to lean on your fam/network to help with the kids while she sorts her shit out. EDIT: And as others have said. Do not leave your home!!

I hear you Brother. I would categorize myself just as you did. My wife is currently on the same trajectory not being grounded. I felt myself being pulled in that direction but made a conscious decision that I would not be dragged down with her. She has left me and took the boys. Divorce is likely in my near future if she doesn't snap out of it. It has been 8 weeks since I have seen my boys. If you are a man of faith, ask God to allow you to carry this burden without loosing yourself as our wives…

Grab on to your sanity and realize that your wife is ungrounded. Something in her is not clicking for her to act and behave like this. You are asking to get the same dose of what she is on if you keep chasing. Edit: Grammar

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
