“Illegal aliens” are not citizens. Of course they were preventing the poor from voting. Regardless, property owning women who were citizens still had their voting rights taken away. Men who owned property, who voted for the opposition, did not have their voting rights silenced.

Wasn’t pushing an agenda. Was simply making a connection to how he would respond to an opposite case after he made his initial comment. My point was that after a certain point in time, one gender group had the right to vote after men took away the women’s voting rights. That was in response to him say that men care but women don’t. In 1807, the state's legislature ignored the constitution and restricted suffrage to white male citizens who paid taxes But it seems you missed the point

Those landowning women’s voting rights were taken away by men. In 1807, the state's legislature ignored the constitution and restricted suffrage to white male citizens who paid taxes.

Men has been voting for presidents since 1788 in the US. Women didn’t get there’s until 1920. It wasn’t men parading the street on the behalf of women

But your comment does? Let me put it this way. You think men generally cared about women issues before women were given a right to vote? People don’t just automatically care about other’s problems until after you convince them to view an issue from the other’s perspective

So women should not have gotten the right to vote because it’s was a woman’s issue and not apart of men’s problem?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
