That's what I was thinking, at least for the first year. Meet people, establish some sort of connections, then go off on my own. Most of my adult life has been living with a roommate/near people. Barracks, college house with 5 other dudes. Spent my freshman year in a studio by myself and there were definite pros and cons, but I can see how in a whole new city it can be beneficial.

It's in advertising/marketing. Looking at about 60k, working long hours and weekends probably. Obviously not going to be in a penthouse suite, but a studio or 1 bedroom is all I need.

Asking questions in an interview not only gives them the idea that you give a fuck but it shows an air of abundance. Money. I'm going to school on the GI Bill right now and have to have an internship as a graduation requirement. Only talked to one company because I knew I would get it. Got it. When they told me they needed a guy like me, I told them "I know".

Yeah, I fucked up that last point pretty bad a week ago. Met a gal who was so visibly into me if she was ugly people would say it was creepy. Went up, talked, got her number and immediately went for the ol "let's do sushi tomorrow night". Mistake. She's about it, I'm looking forward to it, she flakes. Need to start small by the looks of it.
