Yeah, hey I remember being so upset at school when one of my friends got as much as manlier haircut. Like they were moving outside of our bubble, like I was being left behind. A lot has changed since.

This reminds me somehow of people advocating gun (knife, pepper spray, etc.) bans reasoning that those who protect themselves force thugs to attack the weak unprotected ones, usually women, children and old people. Thus making those attacks fault of those who protect themselves.

I know this one guy. He is not very intelligent, his writing is pathetic, you can't really talk to him about anything, etc. But he looks reasonably good and can do one thing well: keep shut up. It works great for him, both at work and at getting laid.

Not living in the USA helps though. I couldn't care less what people on the opposite side of the world think about me. Yes, you can find pretty easily who I am (note: I am a guy). My friends and colleagues mostly do know my opinions and style, so whatever. I don't think I was ever harassed for commenting here, but yes someone tried to shame me for dating sixteen year old girl, but that was just some random unrelated white knight.

Would anything really change if they haven't had sex? She can always say they did.

As great as the show and his character was, I considered the last episode to be hopelessly pathetic.

This reminds me of debates regarding banning Mein Kamp as it was supposed to aid and promote neonazism. I knew a guy with such tendencies, glorifying the book ...until he read it. Because he wasn't that stupid he realized what pile of bullshit it is (or more precisely, how far described ideologies are from his own). That wouldn't have happened if the book were banned/censored.

OT: The first point reminds me of this Tim Minchin piece: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTHfkrG4b0M#t=2567 (43:00~44:00)

I am straight, single, not blatantly spinning plates, and wifes and girlfriends of my friends are nervous about me in the same way.

I've been thinking something along those lines altogether. And even then, doesn't she actually consents retroactively by her behavior?

I'm going to try exactly that tonight as an opener... I am pretty sure I won't reach the second half without crying in laughter.

IDK, I remember there being guys discussing this related to your subs and whatever... it's already batrachomyomachia to me though.

Acting or not, staged or not, current society and governments will milk every opportunity to restrict freedoms and basically everything they can.

I would LOVE to know. I'm pondering on it right now since it is happening again to me at this very moment. Girl is obviously attracted to me, but keeps trying to piss me off with stupid bullshit, as if she is some kind of unique gem. Logic and arguments obviously don't work at all on her. I had girls try this shit before and even though we were good friends (with benefits) when I walked away telling her to call me once she pulls herself together, only few ever did. It was probably for the better…

Even if so, I found some exchanges here actually very interesting.

Thats something radically libertarian ancap... I like it :) As for the land, well, my opinion is simply: if you contribute to the system, you have right to steer its direction, if you don't then you don't.

There is a saying "Fake it 'till you make it." That's basically how I got myself from AFC into kinda-PUA and, subsequently, into huge self-improvement. I just started acting as if I was great man, good with women (and having a lot of them) and things somehow turned themselves just in that way :)

Perhaps she will. The mine one too. I really feel that I could use some nice good girl for a change, and I keep my fingers crossed for you, since I guess you would too.

Damned, there is so many of us this month? What is going on? I usually do pretty good as well, but I somewhat fell for a girl a few weeks ago and, through a few moments of loss of focus, completely ruined it all.

Never thought about it that way, actually. But I will definitely give it a try the next time such situation arises. It's just, as the OP described, that that same old dynamics between friends is hard, or at least uncomfortable, to bend to new direction.

Yep. Just this one. He doesn't even realize it. He ended up losing his virginity to a older girl which basically nudged him into marrying her later. Don't get me wrong, she is nice and smart, but still your typical woman that redpill and seddit describes all too often. The funny thing is, he sometimes acts as if he has it all figured out (due to being now a married fellow) and when he does, women do notice him, do like him, but sadly there is always something in a way preventing him to get exper…

Still overcomming the similar. When I am with some of my old friend, and one of them in particular, and I wink at a girl who shows some IOI or better invite her closer to talk, he never wastes any opportunity to explain how I am not that guy, not who I pretend to be, what a loser I am/used to be ...and although I usually manage to play it cool, as it is fun and whatever, it usually never lead anywhere from that point. After a several rough interchanges I surrendered and I just either go drink wi…

I will never ever hear these three words in my head in any other way than in Tim Minchin's enraged kid's voice.
