Is going to nightclubs year on year sustainable? I'm talking hearing damage and compounded sleep deprivation

While there's a heaps of solid advice on this, I had to face palm at this line: "In my marginal spare time, I enjoy hitting the gym and keeping fit (I must say, my arms are coming in nicely…you should see them."

Loved this. I spent a year trying to find a way to get better, trying out so many things, only to find out a month ago was all I had to do was change my eye-contact. I had read over 'eye-contact' a million times, and I though I had it down, but I actually didn't. As soon as made it a priority - I got a lot more attention.

nervous energy is still energy, and you can harness that. Women are nervous about being approached, just like you were about approaching. This is what creates awkwardness = two people feeling nervous. But it also creates tension and if one person knows what they're doing all that pent up nervous energy can transform into something else. Good luck to you man, I think you will do well.

Hey man, Nick sparks has the great video on youtube about what to do in those awkward moments. Reading your FR, I would've asked the girl to introduce her friend. Get a conversation going between the three of you. Subtly put a challenge on her to make conversation. You say the awkwardness was 'on you' - naaaah. Throw it back it her. Tell her with your expression and body language that you can handle the awkwardness. Hope that helps.

This always seems like an oxymoron to me - we all have a dream girl we'd like to date/lay etc. You take this idea and approach that girl 'without trying' because you know that's attractive, but you're subtly spilling the beans and telling them somehow. I like the idea of just being into a girl and being non-apologetic about it, but I think it's really hard to convey that underneath it you're not really trying. Learning pick-up is fundamentally trying and trying hard.

Look around the room. Look at the guy who looks the most comfortable. Mirror his posture. Put your hands in your pockets. Put your hands on your hips. Forget your phone. Stay centred. Think about things other than your self. What coffee do I want. What Should I say to the cute barista. What kind of girl is she etc etc.

Hey Dude There are so many ways to answer this I don't even know where to start. The long and short of it is no - it's never too late. That perspective itself is probably what's holding you back the most. As you are posting in a PUA forum, I assume you're interested in picking up girls. I'd suggest finding a fraternity or lair in your city. Everytime I've been to something organised by the frat I find new guys in a similar situation (looking for a social circle) and so conversation and friendshi…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
