YOU'RE the one who built a "hamster wheel." From your post It sounds like you're an endomorph who has trouble cutting down their caloric intake low enough to lose weight. Secondly, you DO NOT need to lift weights every day to see results. This is actually counterproductive, as your muscles need time to recover between workouts (if you're doing it right). Stop making excuses. The bottom line is that if you work out at least SOMEWHAT consistently and eat well, you're going to see results.

I really don't understand being fat anymore. There is literally a wealth of info on internet and great strides have been made in recent years with regards to why people get fat in the first place. Dude anti depressants and anti anxiety medications DO INDEED mess with your sex drive. I was on Zoloft and recently came off of it because it wasn't doing shit for me. These are fair points. In my opinion, I don't think the writers were trying to paint Kathleen Turner's character as very sympathetic. Even in my more beta days I always saw Michael Douglas's character as generally being in the right, and I think the movie supports that.
