I think you might be ignoring the cultural difference between "all Asians" and Americans. Generally speaking, I don't think Asian women have the same hypergamy standards as white American women. As in, they might be more materialistic and more likely to focus on having a long term provider as opposed to some one who keeps them sexually interested. This could be because a number of Asian countries (China and Vietnam to be specific) aren't nearly as economically developed as the US. Just a theory.
