Just my own take as someone who is self proclaimed “boring” person. Not being super talkative or having exciting hobbies doesn’t make a person boring. Are you excitable? Not OP but I’m on Instagram and get DMs from males pretty frequently. Usually responses from stories I’ve posted. I think that’s the norm now from the younger crowd especially. And it’s not provoked or from any type of “inappropriate” photos or anything like that. Thats how males “shoot their shot” these days.

Thanks for all the helpful comments! Honestly, at age 32 I just now would fully describe myself as a woman and not a girl. I would say at around age 28 is when that switch started to happen for me. I’m on the complete opposite end of the spectrum here. 28, married 8 years with two kids and done. HOWEVER, I got pregnant before we got married. Before I was 21. I think more relationships end because women cheat. But not because women cheat more. When a man gets cheated on that’s it. The relationship is over. Yeah I always feel like I’m being perceived as selfish OR like I’m the one judging other families when I say I don’t want any MORE kids. I have 2. I take this more as a way to let someone know that you’d like to set aside time to have their full attention in a serious conversation. I don’t feel like it’s manipulative as long as it’s within an appropriate time frame so as to not leave the person sweating, wondering what’s wrong.
