Sure, but he obviously felt she didn’t have a weapon and wasn’t a threat. We aren’t going to start pretending that women aren’t easier to handle than men now are we? That doesn’t make it a pussy pass. That’s just biology.

We can agree that women deserve equal treatment for being assholes, but at the same time use different tactics to subdue them. The officer didn’t fear for his life with this person. So he chose to arrest her using a method that should cause the least harm. If it was a little person standing 3 feet tall, but still a male, he’s most likely doing the same thing. It’s not always a matter of a pussy pass in situations like this. Sometimes it’s as simple as an officer fearing for his life when dealing…

Ummm... where in my response does it appear that’s what I’m saying? “The justice system is much better at convicting innocent people than it is at convicting guilty ones.” OP was claiming that we are more effective locking away innocent people than we are guilty people. Are you suggesting that 51% of all individuals in prison are innocent? Justified or not, we can’t possibly believe that. Complain about the sentences. Complain about the laws all you want. But to claim that the majority of them a…

I don’t know why this is being upvoted so much. It’s simply not true.

Ok, now we’re getting somewhere. You don’t actually care about the data. You’re just upset that I potentially didn’t read all of the data I linked. Seems weird, but ok. I’d just like to point out, I was unaware that my response to your original comment needed to be in full APA format so that the reader would believe I’ve given it my utmost thought and attention before clicking the post button. In the future, I will be more careful. For the record, I did read the article I linked. It’s like 7 par…

So what are you saying? This can’t really be all about using an internet search engine to provide contradictory information to a comment nested deep inside a comment chain can it? Do you really think my first instinct when I read a random person’s assessment of those who work more get paid less, was to Google if that was true? Like my mind was blown by this profound statement, and I simply couldn’t believe it. So I had to try and discover a website that would contradict this claim? This can’t re…

I tried it, and haven’t been able to find the site I quickly referenced on mobile. Go ahead and see if you can since we’re giving each other homework. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=supply+me+with+confirmation+bias Are we not suppose to Google things to provide sources on Reddit? What search engine do you suggest I use? I’ll tell ya what, I hit up Altavista to locate this data from The Bureau of Labor Statistics, which is a unit of the Department of Labor. https://www.bls.gov/careeroutlook/2006/winter/art…

Not to mention the threat of jail time if they aren’t able to provide for the child; wanted or not.

Simple fix: Get a hysterectomy, and stop acting like you own what comes out of a man’s body.

It's a business like everything else. If there was such a huge demand for this representation, somebody would have stepped in and filled it a long time ago.

First of all, no it’s not. Not even close. And guess what, someone has every right to walk around in whatever the hell they want. No matter how racist, insensitive, offensive, or whatever anyone considers it to be. Sure, ridicule them all you want. But the law is very clear about physical violence.

Jesus, when did we decide 1. That wearing a MAGA hat is the equivalent of walking around in a full KKK garb, carrying a burning cross? And 2. That’s it’s just accepted that people can and will be assaulted if you wear something they don’t agree with? This is such a slippery slope of precedent we’re setting here.

I was more interested in the young kids getting into a car without car seats. I was waiting for him to kick them out too.

Only women? Or do men have the same protections?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
