Sure why not. I can copy and paste as well. What advantage does 'virgin shaming' confer? Or 'height shaming' Being unacceptable to "slut shame" women, while acceptable to "virgin shame" men is a double standard and gives women a way to dodge accountability for poor social choices... advantage. Being acceptable to disqualify men for height, or lack there of, a factor they can't control while being unacceptable for men to disqualify women for their weight, a factor they can control, dodging accoun…

Since you can't seem to comprehend... There is no comparison for disabled people needing accommodations to function in society, ie access ramps to buildings. Versus, take for example OP's stance on equality in the work place. OP's stance is that equality is sought after for the safe, climate controlled, high powered occupations, while the more dangerous and dirty jobs are often over discarded as options. Equal representation should be for all work fronts, not just some.

Oh... yeah right. Double standards do not allow for any kind of advantage. Just like having rules for thee but not for me doesn't offer societal advantages.

Basic accommodations to assist disabled people is not the same ballpark let alone league as the argument here.

Because most parents, I say most because there are shitty people out there with shitty ideas raising there kids with those shitty ideas making more shitty adults who might have shitty kids... it's an endless shitty cycle, raised their children teaching them that its what's on the inside that matters. To be a good, respectful, moral person. To not judge a person by their outward appearance, to do so would make they shallow and superficial, and society. In fact calling someone shallow and superfic…

This must be your first day on reddit. Welcome to the party. However, you can pull up any discourse here on the PPD where men ask women what they want or what can make men more successful in dating and generally there are a few standard answers. Be polite Be respectful Be socially adjusted Be presentable... I guess this one could mean be attractive, but typically that is taken to mean don't be a slob. Now don't get me wrong, any man who reads these responses and doesn't automatically fill in beh…

I will make this simple... The only way I could see a man, who wants kids and would be willing to date a single mom is because... They already have kids of their own and it isn't really a worry. If the woman is still wanting to have more children with that man. As I said before, he is unable to have children of his own. There really are too many horror stories out there where men have taken on the responsibility of stepping into a family only to have no athourity nor respect as the father figure…

And there you go, you answered your own question. If a man wants his own children why would he settle for raising children that were not his biologically. Unless he was shooting blanks and couldn't have kids to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 09:18 PM

I mean... factually and biologically that is a true statement. There aren't too many babies being wedged out of a penis.

I’m sorry are the dudes not the ones approaching? Yes, and the woman has the power to say yes or no to his advances. Are the dudes the ones not deciding and asking a woman if they will marry them? Yes they are. And she can say yes or no. Hence having the power. right you get that a man can decide that this isn’t“the one “and break up with the girl, This is correct, he has the power to decide to say yes or no to commitment. So what real “power “is there it’s a 2 Way St. both sides trying to figur…

Now your just being obtuse... or your reading comprehension is subpar. Of course either party can walk away. However, I said power shifts. Women have it in the opening and ending stages. Choosing to date and marry a man. The man has the power in the middle, choosing to commit and ask the woman to marry them. It isn't a difficult concept to grasp. Perhaps you are having difficulty due to not having all the power continuously.

Yes, men make the choice to approach and pursue they woman they desire. The OP's argument is correct, however he used the wrong words. What he should have said is that in the opening stages of the "relationship" women hold all the power, she decides if the man will have any chance at dating her. The woman determines if there is even a remote chance that there will be a relationship. Once she has made her decision, power transfers to the man. He holds the power to continue the relationship and of…

It's actually easy for the average male to get into a relationship with a woman... There are multiple subs on reddit that would disagree with this statement. At least as far as I have seen.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/08/25 02:53 PM

It isn't gender specific.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/25 07:25 PM

From my perspective.... there is a lack of accountability and responsibility rampant. Since the advent of the "YOLO" battle cry any sense of personal responsibility has been void from people's lives. The you only live once justification to do whatever you please and damn the consequences has destroyed whatever was left of societies moral compass.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/08/25 07:24 PM

Honestly it really depends on which lens you view it from. If viewed from a egalitarian lens you would not wrong, like should mirror like. If viewed from a dating standards lens, we are told a person's past matters. However, when it comes to the person's number of previous sexual partners then it becomes. "The past is in the past." What matters is cherry picked. So going with the mirrored lens, no it isn't wrong for a woman or man who have single digit past partners to want and expect the same i…

Divorce rates are down is an interesting argument, perhaps that is because marriage rates are declining as well. So it would make sense that if the key component needed for divorce is declining, divorce would be declining as well.

No i agree 100%. Paying at first and then going 50/50 is an impossible sell. But going 50/50 and then transitioning to 100/0 is fine, if that is what you want. I see it like this. Men must qualify to women before they are granted a relationship and any perks that might apply. It's only fair that women qualify to men in the same way.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 01:24 PM
2

Fair enough, I guess that is what surprise inspections are for. Lol But in all honesty these are traits that can not be easily tested for early in the relationship... sometimes not even late into the relationship. But I will say that typically for me, if a woman keeps an untidy home when living alone, barring extreme circumstances, it is usually a no for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 01:20 PM
4

It's this mindset that is troubling. Why is it when a guy doesn't want to pay for the first few dates the automatic go to is, "he can't afford it" or "it's giving broke energy" Perhaps he doesn't want to lead with his money so that he can see if the woman values the man and not the resources. Aren't men told, quite frequently, that they should not expect sex, and is then shamed when he says not to expect the date to be covered.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 01:16 PM
1

But I think this is a tactic all men should utilize. 50/50 to start and then a transition into paying for dates and activities if that is the role the man wants. Stay 50/50 if he doesn't. But I agree that a man paying from the start and then transitioning to 50/50 is an impossible sell.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 01:10 PM

So you are getting traditional on the very first date? I doubt it. I understand traditional roles in an established relationship, but not in the first month of dating.

Honestly, you can tell by the way a man keeps his home. If he lives like a slob when he is single, guess what, he will live like a slob when he is In a relationship. Any person will do this really. The kid thing is much harder to verify, but perhaps if they are a dog owner. Dogs are a lot of responsibility.

1/1,000,000... 1/1,000,000,000... That is why the thought that there is an absolute 100% perfect person for you is a fallacy. The odds of finding that person, and that you are that persons 100% are through the roof. And that is the problem with people today. They don't or won't understand that perfection is unobtainable. Yes I am. The lady I am dating now seems to appreciate my standards and boundaries. She likes that I don't expect her to jump through a bunch of emotional hoops for me to treat her as a partner because I don't expect her to do the same. Does that mean we don't have standards and boundaries we expect each other to meet and respect, not at all. In fact we have done so happily, but that's because our standards and boundaries are reasonable.

No, but wise men do. It has nothing to do with strength, unless you are talking about strength of character. I'm sorry, but even a man who has strength of character would have a difficult time accepting having to check off requirements that have an unspecified time frame before gaining "the loving partner you deserve" That is a ludicrous proposition. I agree, no one is entitled to anything. But the original comment didn't mention anything about sex. It mentioned being the loving partner he deserved. Loving is an all encompassing term. It can cover caring, compassion, dedication, fedility, devotion, and many other things. As I asked previously, how long does it take to prove that a partner isn't wasting the others youth, not hold sex over one's head, and not opt out of fatherly duties. Do they get a mildly interested partner until all of thos…

I agree with this, however the comment above had some rather peculiar qualifiers, per the poster's own words that would be difficult to accomplish in a reasonable amount of time. For example how long does it take to prove they will not "squander the youth" of their partner? 6 months? A year? 10 years? Or better yet, noping out of their duties as a father. How does one prove that... without a child in place. Does he have to wake up every night at 2 in the morning to change and feed a test baby? T…

I have no issue with this. Both men and women should qualify themselves and have their partners qualify themselves before committing. But don't call the man out for thinking sex might be transactional and then say he has to prove a whole laundry list of things before being a loving partner, and not call that transactional.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/25 05:16 PM
2

Yes it did... Once he proved to me that he wasn't interested in "taking my youth", holding sex over my head, or noping out of his responsibilities as a father, I was happy to be the loving partner that he deserves. He did X... she did Y. He proved he qualified. She gave him the partner he deserved. Had he not done X, she wouldn't have been Y. That is the pure definition of transactional.

Once he proved to me that he wasn't interested in "taking my youth", holding sex over my head, or noping out of his responsibilities as a father, I was happy to be the loving partner that he deserves. The problem here is how many years of marriage, or of the relationship did he have to do all this to get the "loving" partner he "deserved"? You talk about him not holding sex over your head, meaning not transactional, yet you were not a true and loving partner, your own words, until he qualified h…

Exactly, so there’s times that its fine to invalidate them. Should we apply this to any feeling that we don't like. "I'm feeling hurt"... My purpose gives me contentment. But there have been many occasions where, in the course of performing my purpose, i haven't been the happiest. But that is to be expected. It can't be all sunshine and lollipops. But honestly, we dont want to talk about the daily struggles a man faces when fulfilling his purpose. It is popular to shit on men and say how "privileged" they are. I'm sorry, but the weight many men carry on their shoulders without complaint is a "privilege" I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Has that ever been a concern at any point in history? Men's happiness has never really been a factor. Men have responsibilities. What would people think of a man who cast aside those responsibilities in pursuit of happiness. Happiness is something reserved for women and children.

You can also build an acquaintanceship with multiple women at the same time. I hate to break it to you, but even when trying to make friends, a person must use the cold approach. You do realize that the definition of "cold approach" is that you dont know the person you are approaching and have no one to make a social introduction to them. LOL Men who are generous and want to provide for their families showcase this during dating. This is why women screen for it No, ma'am. Generosity is the wrong word. You are generous with strangers and charities. Even then, not all strangers and charities are worthy of generosity. What you are talking about is duty and obligation. In my opinion, any man who sees his spouse/partner who bears and nurtures his child as a gold digger and denies his responsibilities to provide for his family isn't a man. A girl isn't relegated to being her partner's maid and servant just by being born female. No, she isn't. Just like a man isn't his partner's mechanic, carpenter, landscaper, or plumber. We choose to perform those tasks for our partners. Why... because it makes their lives easier and it is a way to show appreciation for them. Are we supposed to take men swiping as sign of their attraction? They don't even look when swipe, and tru match happens after he sees his matches and decides who to talk to. A lot of women get ghosted at this stage. You said this. Going off of what we discussed previously, men mass swipe in the hopes of getting any sort of response. Now, is it right for ghosting to occur? No, but it happens. Both genders are equally bad in regards to doing this.

You asked how women posing as men on dating apps applied to what you said about mass swiping. The simple fact is that the women who did that discovered just how rough men do have it when it comes to using OLD, how the standards are astronomical, and how much of a toll it takes on men's emotional stability.

So what is your suggestion, men should date women they aren't attracted to? Would you give the same advice to women who complain that they can't find a suitable partner?

It is an explanation as to why a majority, not all mind you, of men do mass swipe. If a person is lonely enough, any option is better than no option at all.

Stop expecting human beings to be computer programs who will spit out x when you give them y. At most you can say girls shouldn’t waste the time of men they aren’t really interested in. Same for men. It isn't expecting x from y. It is the simple fact that there are different standards. Sure, less effort is expected from men who are viewed as hookups versus men who are viewed as "relationship" material. While men have noticed this and made comment about it. Most, not all, women fail to acknowledg…

There is a big difference... Change her mind horrible, doesn't the saying go, "If it isn't a yes, then it's a no." Why would anyone, man or woman, see the point in having to convince a person to have any form of a relationship, be it sexual, romantic, or platonic. To me, it gives off, "you must impress me," energy. Win her trust is actually worse. There is a metric ton of hypocrisy with that statement. I doubt there was a whole lot of trust established for the random hookup or ONS. While the del…

While I agree with you that thirsty men are the problem, I only partially agree with your premise that the chooser, totally in women's hands, has all the power. Men make the conscious decision to pursue women, they choose. No one is holding a gun to their head. And while yes, women have all the power in this step because they are the gatekeepers of sex/relationships, men hold the power later in the relationship because they are the gatekeepers of commitment/marriage. So power shifts depending on…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 06:05 PM

So if l desire a relationship with a certain man (Mr gatekeeper) Yes, so long as he has made the conscious decision to chase/pursue you. and he allows it, it's still on me to evaluate if I'm a good match for him and vice versa. You were so close to getting it. The man makes the choice to pursue you. You (Ms. Gatekeeper) determine, or select, barring any red flags, if he is worthy of a relationship/sex. It isn't until later on when the man (Mr. Gatekeeper) determines if you are worthy of him aski…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 05:52 PM

How did i paint men as having no self agency. Like the previous poster, you are most definitely arguing in bad faith. If you can't see how women are the gatekeepers to sex and relationships while men are the gatekeepers of commitment and marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 05:10 PM

You are arguing in bad faith. You know full well that i wasn't eluding to the fact that women can walk up to a man, point her finger, and say "you" without him having a say in the matter. The same way a man couldn't do that to a woman. We both know full well the process of dating. The man chooses to pursue a woman. The woman determines whether or not the man is worthy of sex and a relationship. After a period of time, the man determines if the woman I'd worthy of commitment and marriage. But you…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 05:08 PM

Ok, so how are women not selectors? Both men and women are selectors, we are just selectors for different aspects of the relationship process. Women are the selectors when it comes to granting access to a relationship and sex. Men are generally the selectors for commitment and marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/25 04:34 PM

Wellll... Men aren't trying to date deadbeat dads. Why should we complain about them. Women rarely complain about single moms with multiple fathers. How are they being blamed other than the typical argument, "you knew he was doing shady shit before you started dating him." I mean if a woman can decide she doesn't want the responsibility of having a child and get an abortion, all while the man has zero say in the matter, the logical equivalence would be that the man can opt out of any responsibil…

Imagine that... a prostitute saying that men are only worth dealing with if they have money. That is totally mind-blowing. In a million years, I never would have thought they would have an opinion like that. But let's be honest here. The men you typically deal with you, i.e., your clients, most likely don't see you as a lady, and let's not misinterpret a lady for a woman. A lady is a woman who is treated with respect and kindness. She is deserving of protection and provision. You, on the other h…

I agree that there is no shame in a healthy sexual appetite. However, where the shame comes in is the lack of discernment that most seem to have today. Sex is seen as a fun sport or hobby instead of the physical expression of love and feelings for a long term partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/25 06:37 PM
2

Yeah, but women expect men to be successful and make six figures or more... see what I did there. Generalizations suck don't they. Most men don't have the expectation that a woman is a virgin. Women are sexually free. Women have always been the gatekeepers for consensual sex. What it sounds like you want is sexual freedom without the pesky addition of shame and judgment that comes with it. That's harder to accomplish. Sexual freedom has always been a thing... in modern times. The only differenti…

So are we talking men as they are today, or are we talking about some version of an "enlightened man"? I hate to say this, but if we are talking about men today, they rarely, if ever, get attention, validation, or compliments in regards to their looks or sexual appeal... well, most men don't. So, no, I think it would definitely hit different with most men today. Men would lap that shit up like gravy and ask for more.

Yes, a one-sided relationship is being taken advantage of, and that is exactly what all give and no reciprocation is. Why are people are blind to the fact that all relationships are, for the most part, transactional? Yes, we should want yo do things for those in our lives that we care about without worrying if they will reciprocate, because it should be automatic for both sides to want to do things for each other. Actually, you are partially correct, but The Boy Scouts faced several lawsuits regarding its previous policy of excluding girls from its Cub Scouting and Boy Scouting programs. This is the problem. The woman’s basic safety and survival is dependent on a man continuing to treat her with good will. It creates a dynamic where women are more strongly bound to their marriage contracts/families than their husbands have to be. Because the woman has less autonomy. There is no good will involved. A man provides for his family because he loves them and sees it as his duty. The idea he does it simply to "bind a woman" is toxic as hell. This imbalance of autonomy is the main reaso…

A lot of women’s contributions in a marriage in general are in the form of unpaid domestic work. This is a fallacy. Being able to self regulate emotions is fine. But, you can't regulate what others bring into your life. And drama... unnecessary drama can most definitely disrupt your peace. i don't take the bait. and i don't date them. That is you selecting people based on how they affect your peace.

I'm sorry, but if a person is terrible, they will be terrible with or without an education. Being educated does not suddenly make a person any less of an asshole. And just so we are clear, having a degree does not make a person intelligent... it simply means you test well.

Men have said it multiple times. Our standards are different from women's. But our standards are judged based on women's and deemed low. So allow me to say it once again. Education for most men doesn’t matter. And no, it isn't because we are threatened by intelligent women. It's because a woman's degree has zero impact on how good of a partner she will be. This is also why women gas each other up. It’s to feel good in a world that has always been inescapably hyper critical of women’s appearances. The number of dates doesn’t equate to attractiveness or desireability when it comes to women. I am going to say the quiet part out loud that many don't want to hear. A woman who is a "3" can still get "dates" because the men who offer them dates see them as an easy mark to get sex from. They think that "This woman is so unattractive that any attention I give her will be appreciated and reciprocated with sex." However, the guy doesn't realize that 52 other guys thought the exact same thing. This …

Men use 1-10 scale. Women generally use a tape measure. Both genders have scales the judge the other by. But getting 53 dates doesn't dictate a person's value. Actually, getting in a relationship does. That is the end goal of going on dates, isn't it? But going on 53 different dates but not finding a person for you... there is one common factor through all 53 dates. Perhaps she really is a 3.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/25 01:46 PM
5

They said she went on 53 dates, not that she was in a relationship. There is a difference between a man taking a woman on a date to break a dry spell and taking a woman on a date to actually see if she is relationship material. Sadly, the 1 - 10 scale usually doesn't apply for an ONS.

The reason why it is sometimes seen as a red flag... I will put it in terms that anyone can understand. It is like applying for a job, and during the interview, you are asked about your previous work history and then having the interviewer telling you that they appreciate your interest, but you lack the work experience for the position offered. Men who have no other options except to approach strangers aren't appealing anyway, so what if self-described "nice guys" stop approaching women? You do realize that cold approaching was how getting dates was mostly done before the advent of OLD... correct? Sure, you could have a friend or family member set you up on a date, but let's be honest, those usually didn't work out too well. No, I was saying that men have standards and requirements for dating just as women do. Each gender has mile stones in the development of a relationship that certain privileges are offered to a partner. Also... this might explain why men want to go 50/50 on dates starting out.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 07:06 PM
3

No, what i am saying is that I pay for dates for women I am in a committed relationship with. Until we are committed and exclusive with each other, she is not deserving of my resources. It is no different how some women feel about sexual intimacy. In my opinion there isn't a difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 06:51 PM
5

Soooo... when a man doesn't want to pay for your part of the date, they think you are a prostitute and you avoid them. If they do pay, they don't think you are a prostitute and you continue to date them? I think you might have a flawed lodgic here. But it is your dating strategy, more power to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 06:47 PM

Wouldn't you only date men who wanted to go 50/50 so that they wouldn't think that you are a prostituting yourself. Perhaps to demonstrate that you value who they are and not what resources they have.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/25 02:49 PM

So what you are saying is that women deserve to be treated like a committed partner or spouse on the first date? By that lodgic, shouldn't a woman treat a man the same? I am not advocating for being disrespectful. What i was attempting to say was that if a woman wants a gentelman, then she should act like a lady. Reciprocate the respect that is expected. Let's dig into what a gentelman is and, by extension, what a lady is as well. A gentelman is a chivalrous, courteous, and/or honorable man. Chivalrous is defined as courteous and gallant, especially toward women. Courteous is defined as polite, respectful, or considerate in manner. Honorable is defined as bringing or worthy of honor. Yes beauty is subjective. Your likes and desires will vary from mine. What you might think is a 10, I might only see a 7.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 11:20 AM

I gave you my opinion, which is based on my personal preferences, yet I am the one who is delusional? So if a man said he wanted a hamburger for dinner but you gave him a plate of spaghetti and he said this isn't what I wanted, would you call him delusional? And have you polled every man to what their preferences are? I doubt it. Personally, I find neither one of your examples attractive. /r/PurplePillDebate13/03/25 11:18 AM

Beauty is subjective. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I know this may be a hard pill to swallow, but just how men are told women are not a hive mind, men aren't either. Yes, there are men who like saggy boobs and large labias. There are men who don't care about grey hair, wrinkles, stretch marks, blemishes, or body hair. The male thing is typically to bag someone for a “serious” relationship who is good enough, wait until the perfect one comes along, then dump the placeholder. Women will not do that as often—typically, they will reject you outright and let you on your merry way. The promise of sex and food is not enough to entice a woman’s devotion. This is what my post was in response to. I was trying to point out that placeholding or monkey branching is not a gender specific act. Both genders are equally guilt…

Most definitely, both sexes are guilty of this. This is making a counterargument to the previous post showing that women can and do use men as placeholders as well.

Once again... accountability. How hard is it for you to admit that women are at fault for holding men as place holders.

Well, you did seem to make the argument that no matter who uses who as a placeholder, it is a man's fault. How is that fair?

So, when men do this, it is men's fault. When women do it... it is men's fault. You really have to be trolling now. Please tell me you are trolling. Once again, we slam into women's kyptonite... accountability. Why can't it be that there are shitty men and women out there in the world?

When you say "we" do you mean people in general, or are you referring to acting specific gender? Because if you mean people in general, I can wholeheartedly agree with you.

"Monkey branching" refers to a dating behavior where someone actively seeks out a new potential partner while still in a current relationship, essentially "swinging" from one relationship to another without fully letting go of the first one, similar to how a monkey moves from one tree branch to another; it implies a lack of commitment and often happens without the knowledge or consent of their current partner. And it isn't a redpillerism. It is quickly becoming a dating norm.

The male thing is typically to bag someone for a “serious” relationship who is good enough, wait until the perfect one comes along, then dump the placeholder. Please, women monkey branch just as much as men do... perhaps more. Women typically hold higher power in the dating market, look at the disproportionate amount of likes each gender gets. With that thought in mind, it is more likely that a woman in a "relationship" will have several men in her DMs trying to charm her. OnePoll even did a stu…

How exactly have women been barred from blue-collar jobs? As someone who works in a blue-collar industry, I have worked with women. If they were barred, then how would it be possible for me to have worked with them. The truth of the matter is, let's ignore the fact that it is illegal to bar a person from a job based on sex. Women don't want those jobs. If i see 100 applications for a position, maybe 2 - 5 of them will be from a woman. Women typically do not want to work the jobs that are dangero…

You conveniently keep ignoring the fact that I also referred to emotional and physical intimacy, which is unrelated to sex. I think he was making reference to the fact you are telling men to be intimate with other men, even when they are not attracted to them. What do you think the quality or satisfaction of the intimacy would be for a heterosexual man to be physical…

The truth is, dating isn’t fair, but it’s not hopeless. Women are not a monolith, and they aren’t only attracted to “the top 1%.” Confidence, kindness, and effort go a long way, and I think you’d be surprised how much more you can gain by focusing on personal growth rather than lamenting the struggle. You don’t need to “outcompete” anyone to build connections. You just need to be someone who is willing to show up authentically, do the work, and find the people who value what you bring. I agree t…

A high IQ does not have a corelation to good judgment. I have come across plenty of people who were intelligent yet were naive. Not to mention that an IQ test is the same as a poll tax that was popular during Jim Crow.

This is a bullshit question. Both genders, other than an enlightened subset for each sex, will claim that dating is monumentally harder for their own sex. Men say it's harder for them because of the unrealistic standards women have in choosing a partner. The expectations that women have when going on dates. The ever-present concerns of being used by the woman for entertainment and food, with no chance of a relationship. Women will say it's harder for them because of the overwhelming amount of me…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/24 01:07 PM

It is. That's why I made that final statement to show how frustrating it feels to be judged on what a small subset of a group does or benefits from. I guess that's why I judge people on who they are and not what group they come from.

I didn't reply because I didn't feel the need to. Do I agree with the sentiments behind #killallmen? No, I do not. But here is my take on it. #killallmen is no different than the SCUM Manefesto. Do women mean that they want all men dead? No, it is satire, parody, a way for someone to deal with trauma... all be it in a less than healthy way. But even though it is parody or trauma coping, it doesn't make it right. The fact that women feel it is ok to jokingly say that all men should be killed says…

Sportsmen are treated like gods. Male entrepreneurs are close behind them. Ah... the wonderful notion that since the hyper-successful 1% of men are treated in such a way, it is a reflection on how all men are treated. I hate to say this, but you are mistaken. The foundational tenets of feminism are that women are human beings, and deserve the same rights and responsibilities as men. It would be wonderful if this was true. Why would a mab deviate from what a woman wanted for a proposal? Well proposals are meant to be a surprise given by the man, not an expected, planned out event by the woman. Maybe a man felt that since he bought the ring and was the one proposing, he would choose the place. Perhaps he had an ideal proposal in his mind. There are two people involved, after all. I mean how many posts have you seen where men are frustrated with the dating environment, complaining about being on some dating app for months without a like, or where women have ran their male friends dating account and were completely shocked at the stark differences in the experiences. Men hop from one foot to the other from hearing "Men stop approaching women" and "Why don't men approach any more?" And op was correct, approaching women is at best a crap shoot with horrendous odds.

The ones who don't give a damn keep doing what they have been doing, not caring about the consequinces of their actions. The ones who do care have bowed out and decided that the juice might just not be worth the squeeze. I agree that consent is important. But when we have sex we do a quick risk assessment and deem that the small chance that a woman can get pregnant who is on birth control is acceptable. I would agree with the whole parasite, tumor, clump of cells argument if it weren't for two things. I do think that a child in the womb is a human. The child isn't an invader for the simple fact that is the whole point of a woman's reproductive organs. To gestate a small human inside of them. Your thoughts and op…

Because it isn't the same. An intruder who breaks into your home is doing so of their own accord without your permission to be there in hopes of committing a crime. They are pretty much where they don't belong. A woman and her partner willingly had sex, knowing that there would be a chance, all be it a small chance, if birth control was used, that a pregnancy might happen. The baby isn't there for any malicious or nefarious motives. A baby did not break into a woman's womb. It was created there.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/24 04:40 PM

You are deluding yourself. I am all for people having casual sex, but let's not bullshit each other. Typically, when a guy says he is all for abortion, he is really saying he likes the idea of being able to have all the benefits and none of the risk of casual sex. He doesn't care one bit about a woman's bodily autonomy and more about protecting his wallet and bank account.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 12:51 PM

🤷🏼‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 12:45 PM

So the other guy saying he supports abortion for safe/easier casual sex really shouts supporting a woman's bodily autonomy.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/24 12:45 PM

As a man I support abortion rights for many reasons, but one perk is easier/safer casual sex. No, you support abortion because you think that it makes you appear more desirable. More than likely, you could care less about the abortion issue. Also, you are for abortion because you are a man who doesn't take responsibility for his actions, which really isn't a man.

There is a difference between arguing and discussing a topic. In the same way, there is a difference between listening to understand and listening to respond. If a man is actively seeking a romantic relationship, he might find it difficult to have a purely platonic relationship with a woman. It would be like he was in a desert dying of thirst and spotting a shaded oasis that turns out to be a mirage. How many times in the past have Democrats controlled both the house and senate? They could have secured abortion as an actual law, but they didn't. It implies an imbalance of decision-making power. This seems like a misconception. Just because one partner takes the lead in the relationship does not mean the other partner's opinion on the decision isn't taken into account. More often than not, if there is a difference of opinions, and the relationship is healthy, a compromise between both opinions is reached that hopefully benefits both.
