I like it so much that I can eat it breakfast lunch and dinner for 4 days straight. But, it's easy to change out lunch for something else since it's important to network at lunch if you're a professional

can't even smell the seafood because the chicken broth removes the fishiness. It's a good way to get people that hate seafood to eat seafood.

I cook a big pot of stew on Sunday that I can eat for the week. Shop, prep, cook takes about 4 hours but means I have no effort for several days--just microwave and eat. It's also super healthy, tasty, and makes it easy for me to drop 1 to 2 lbs in a week. The seafood soup recipe is: chicken broth celery onion carrot jalapeno or serrano peppers bell pepper garlic cilantro tomato shrimp king crab cod scallops olive oil salt pepper cumin garlic salt tabasco lime white rice since king crab and scal…

No, it's situational. My primary and I have a solid connection. I think I fit all of her criteria / interests and I make sure to please her really well while mixing in a bit of the comfort / cuddle. It's not an explicit FWB and it's ambiguous because I act in a way that can be viewed as LTR material or just an attractive and fun fling. I would say that you either: Didn't please them as well as you think (most likely) Don't have a solid connection Not to say you're bad in bed, but it's tough to p…

I didn't mean to say that monogamy is required for attraction. I was saying that I want to stay poly and keep the attraction but I was worried that me letting her go with other guys would cause her to lose attraction since I've seen others claim that.

I find myself struggling to adopt the new TRP lifestyle while avoiding potential blowback from those around me and society. I strongly believe that TRP has a lot of great ideas on living well and personal development, and that gets obscured with the sexual strategy aspect of things which is a shame. So far, I've been discrete with any of my dating, ambiguous with the specifics of what happens, and I don't talk about anything beyond general application principles out of the dating context (e.g. n…

Impeccable timing. I've got a woman I really enjoy and I'm not interested in spending much time with other women because of it, but I am not interested in LTR monogamy at the moment. I might try this if things come to a head. It's funny that if she agreed I might not even care much about going after other women, but having that freedom matters to me.

Touche. I had read that a while back and forgot about it, but that doesn't change the point that Trump is not that Alpha based upon the first link because he exhibits many insecure tendencies and cares about opinion (hence all of the knee-jerk bitching when someone criticizes him). Based upon the 2nd link, he is likely alpha. This goes back to my point that the terms alpha and beta are vague because we have different criteria and definitions, even within the sidebar.

TRP needs to stop tossing around terms like Alpha and Beta because they are far too vague without details. Trump is a deplorable man and is not worth emulating entirely, but there are learnings and insights worth taking away from his existence (e.g. the power of emotion instead of reason). He gets laid by 10s, which, according to some TRP readers, makes him alpha, and he escalates to a ridiculous degree which corresponds with being alpha. BUT, he is likely confident and aggressive because of the…

Absolutism is bound to fail. You need to realize that these TRP rules are not 100% appropriate at all times. Listen to what they say verbally at times, but read body language most of the time, and decide based upon what matters to you almost all of the time is more effective. If you don't listen to what they say, you won't ever develop listening skills and you'll be crippled for life. Don't let your desire to get laid and your hatred of the status quo blind you from becoming a better person.

Great comment--really appreciate the contribution. It's tough to teach wit, so I held off on specific examples and instead focused on techniques to acquire it. You're advice is solid too.

That's cool. It's good to have people who can hold you accountable and, in that case, I agree that talking about it makes sense.

There are exceptions, such as Muhammed Ali, but it is scientifically proven that the dopamine rush from talking about what you want to do will make you feel a reward before having done it. Maybe you just overcome that by feeding off of the social pressure associated with backing up the talk.

Serious communication means addressing the point directly without humor. I wouldn't answer that way if being questioned by a judge, for example. A&A, flip, and AM are techniques for certain situations. I personally disagree with the TRP philosophy of never ever get serious, and I believe setting a very high bar is more appropriate. Either way, a woman that isn't broken won't take endless deflection with A&A, flip, and AM regarding something she views as important. Flipping on the boss is OK in s…

I think that being ridiculous and joking 24/7 is a recipe for failure. There are times that call for serious communication. You can use A&A, flipping, and amused mastery all of the time, but you're much more effective if you know how to use it sparingly and switch to a serious mindset at times as well. This is a consistent theme in the 48 Laws of Power and the Art of Seduction.

No need to say sorry--it's a discussion. The serious relationship point is a personal example because I have issues that I'm working on that deal specifically with relationships, so I don't trust myself in one at the moment. I have a weakness for people I care about which I'm working on. Also, the direct approach with a boss does not always work. The example I proposed, however, works in almost any situation for any boss regardless of their personality.

Although you are more of an authority on here than I am, I believe it's fair to say that nobody can ever be complete, but we can and should be satisfied with ourselves and strive to make ourselves as complete as possible. Greatness, however, cannot be accomplished alone and finding someone that complements one's weaknesses is a beautiful partnership.

You needed to physically escalate in a natural way. It takes work and you need to come with the mindset that she wants you to escalate physically. Even if she shit tests you, read her body and not her words and tell her what to do. I was out with a Japanese gal who mentioned things like sex after relationship and so on, but her body language said otherwise. Start with a hug and cheek kiss, follow to arm around shoulder (sit on same side) or light and brief touches on leg, hand, etc. Then work up…

You don't have the whole context so I think that your judgment is a bit severe although I do agree that her behavior is unacceptable. Also, this isn't a personal journal--it's for others to learn from with practical examples. I do have two other plates at the moment.

I was going to set boundaries and see if she complied. She needs to know that I require more than a pretty face to keep someone around. She needs to think about the value she brings to my life because I drop people that are useless to me I don't tolerate bad behavior I judge people based upon who they associate with, and I don't want her around if she associates with toxic people I haven't had to coach her yet so I'm giving her 1 chance to show her interest. This is a shit test at the very least…

My close friend has made the transition from Male to Female and her insights as fascinating. I may ask her to write a complementary post since more is always better. Thanks a ton for sharing your experience--this is deep, special, and powerful insight that validates a lot of the TRP concepts that we discuss.

It's a cycle. Social skills help develop confidence and maintain frame, and idgaf, amused mastery, etc help develop social skills by experience and more exposure. You need all of these to be working well together to succeed. You can't run with just a strong leg, you need both legs, your core, and a sense of balance.

Absolutely agree. Increase it gradually and keep at the escalation point until you advance further. E.g. light touch by then go for arm around waist or shoulder. If rejected, return to light touch and try again once you get a sign

Fantastic post that echoes a common theme that bears repeating every day: Society is constructed by those in power to control those out of power while satisfying the powerless enough to maintain the status quo. The acquisition of power and success is determined by an internal compass shielded by the external noise This extends to everything: women, friendships, family, career, and so on. Learn to truly sense where you are at, where you want to be, and figure out & commit to get there. Women 'fri…

I believe I am given the stats of where I was before. I do agree with your concern about over-investment though. It's a tough line to draw on how much to try for a woman one wants IMO. I don't think zero effort works, but minimal effort is kind of a challenge to define.

Not giving a fuck is a the wrong perspective though because everyone on TRP gives a fuck. Everyone here is trying to become alpha and succeed with women, so clearly they give a damn--how they choose to go about it is the difference. You advocate not caring about someone else at all, enough to even understand what makes them tick, and uncover those that want you through enough attempts. That's cool, but I prefer succeeding more, and I believe that you can be more successful if you understand wher…

If you want a 10 and you aren't a 10, study your target and what it takes to get the type of 10 you want. PUA literature says to just brute force it with PUA techniques but those a gimmicks that yield low success rate in practice now from what I've seen. My advice is more than just the generic lift weights, get rich, etc. It's find success now by understanding your SMV and key attractors and work toward your goal but don't delude yourself into thinking that you can achieve your goal by simply wa…

Really enjoyed the read. It's great to distill the underlying mechanics that govern life, but it's a bit tough to figure out how to use your thoughts. I get that I need to better control my lust and fear to prevent emotional manipulation, but how do you do it?

Great point--which raises the question: Should we focus on hacking the system for short term desires despite not being high value, or should we develop ourselves to become high value? Also, can hacking the psychology / social aspects of the game develop someone into a high-value person, AKA fake it til you make it.

Yeah, that's what makes me happy. I like the idea of cultivating a healthy society because that's good for me long term. I can, short term, get a lot by not being benevolent, but then I will poison my situation in the future and old age will suck more IMO

Quality and succinct post that addresses a bunch of the flawed ideas that I see floating around RP. Do you have a specific approach to learn these things (e.g. reflect, journal, talk it out, etc)?

I think that she is 'warm' to the idea of talking more because you created some distance and showed you didn't need her. Availability and proximity suffocates attraction (48 Laws of Power). If they are flaky, you risk disrespecting yourself by giving them your time, but that's your call to make. Not sure how they are flaky because flaky can mean a lot--just make sure you don't disrespect yourself while giving them another shot.

It is a tricky line to draw. That's why I emphasize helping others sparingly but avoiding the unfortunate is always a good decision. Essentially, it's risk analysis--is helping this person in need possible in a reasonable amount of time with acceptable risk. Above all though, you have to be consistent with your frame. I help others because I know, at some point, I may need the help though I don't intend to rely upon it. If you choose not to help others ever, then don't ever expect help.

I think it comes down to the feeling of, "I couldn't do that." There are people that do something that we acknowledge on a visceral level that we couldn't / wouldn't do. That probably generates a ton of admiration and respect on the spot. That's probably why super violent men don't turn on women in the same way the appropriately violent men do. Learned a story about my dad when he passed away--he was class president and someone was jealous and talking shit about him 24/7 in class. So, while the …

To some degree. High value communication that is pithy is useful too. I don't know how I would show her my effort to find a new and worthwhile goal, however. In this case, talking about it is the act itself.

Your post should be summarized as Deal with flaking by working harder, getting more dates, and accepting that flakes happen. I agree with the try harder bit, but the title made me think that your going a whole different way with the post. There is a lot to be learned from flakes, and I don't believe trying harder is the best insight to emphasize.

Sure thing--I haven't gotten many but I've definitely gotten some. I figure that I get minimal shit-tests because I have been mostly with 7's and 8's as opposed to 9's and 10's, and because I have a strong consistent frame in online -> text -> meet-up so they don't feel the need to shit-test as I've already removed most of their alarms before we meet.

That's what I found as well, but I don't like the fact that there is a clear feeling of superiority in the interaction dynamic. That makes it more likely that they'll flake IMO. If you don't have killer photos and look good, pass on Bumble. If you're top on attraction with a kickass job, try it out

I think that's the wrong attitude. If you're good enough, you should be able to bag a woman regardless of the app / context so long as the situation isn't too extreme, but I think it's tougher to get that opportunity on the other apps. I'm not saying that CMB has the best pool of women for hooking up--I'm saying that it's much less effort to find a good looking match that will meetup so you can actually get somewhere when compared to other sites
