As a European I can't even be bothered to leave my shire, let alone my country. The dating world is not built for me bruh 💀

Man, 20 years old 7,6,5,9,4… aaaand I don’t really care about the rest lol

I’m over 20 and have not had sex yet. Whether or not I care tends to come in waves and I’m mostly satisfied how I am currently. But whenever I do feel bad about being a virgin, I’m scared of being ridiculed for it more than anything else. In times like that, I just have to make an effort to remember that it’s just a useless label and doesn’t actually effect my value as a human being.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 09:12 PM

True, but life isn’t meant to be easy. If you truly love someone, you’d go through a hard time for them after all
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 08:38 PM

Planet Earth would be a good start lol But really I would recommend social media if it’s hard to meet women in person (NOT DATING APPS) You seem like you want a very serious relationship that lasts for the rest of your life, so the best thing to do is to connect with people in general who have the same hobbies as you. Eventually you’ll find a girl who’s the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 08:36 PM

What exactly do you mean by that?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 08:31 PM

Why does not being Chad make your chances of falling in love “null” to you? Have you truly met no good women?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/12/23 08:29 PM
3

Because it’s true, the women who use TikTok and watch those stupid girlboss podcasts don’t make up the majority of the female population. Therefore, the average woman isn’t a complete cunt
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 04:54 PM

I’ve been told that women chasing after money and a nuclear family at all costs is a strictly American thing, and I believe that to a certain degree. I’m not American for example and I’ve never ran into girls who have stupidly high standards like that, only if they’re the type to be constantly glued to their phones.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 02:06 AM
5

Can’t really argue with you here, man. I think you’re spot on. I think a lot of the guys here haven’t actually spoken with or been in contact with that many women and therefore don’t know what the average woman is like. They just see what’s shown to them while doomscrolling and assume these influencers with unrealistic standards are basically every single woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/23 02:02 AM
1

Because those types of women are meanies and I don’t like them
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/23 07:47 PM

Ik, I was just joking about that last part. You guys have pretty good food all around honestly

Scottish person here, I can say with full certainty we are NOT like the US culturally. The only thing we have in common is that we have terrible food
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/23 08:45 PM

Honestly I think if a guy doesn’t want their girlfriend to go to bars or parties, he should stop going after girls who do those things lol

The last successful cinema date was Monsters, Inc. 22 years ago. Of course it was successful! I’d marry someone on the spot if she took me to see Monsters Inc, that movie fucking rocks

In my experience friendships are a pipeline into getting a girl to fall for you. I’ve been asked out quite a few times and they were all with friends, not complete strangers. I think this might depend on the culture you’re in.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/23 07:49 PM
1

It’s been a while since I got asked out by girls, mostly because I’ve been staying clear from romance for the past few years. Now I form crushes easily, which technically means I “wanted” every girl who has ever asked me out. But if you were to ask me if I thought those girls were a good fit for me long term, I would say no. Aside from this one girl I dated in high school (she had commitment issues I think), they were all very nice people! To this day we get on great. But my main issue is the fa…

Real chads never miss out on tickle time with the homies. If you’re one of them, then congratulations
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 09:12 PM

That people in general want more than just a pretty face and money when looking for a relationship. It’s like people fall in love with each other or something lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 05:29 PM
12

I remember a time when “Chads” were characterised as men who are just good people for the sake of being good. Nowadays all it takes to be a Chad is to go to the gym, reject all women, and kiss your homies
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/23 04:39 PM

I really hope that’s not the only reason you don’t like your mother
/r/AllPillDebate13/11/23 08:06 PM

Yeah but I never said it was bad to do a test. For me I would just react with confusion if this happened
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/23 07:29 PM

I’d be fine I guess?? I’d just find it odd that she doesn’t trust me that much, which could also raise a lot of questions about our relationship as a whole. This scenario is WILD, OP

I have never finished college (don’t worry ladies, I’m a million feet tall)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 03:56 AM

This is the answer
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 02:03 AM

That’s very true, that’s pretty much why I stay away from people who use those apps and disassociate with said apps completely. Sure, in the world of dating I might have a harder time without Tinder, but I think it’s worth it if I’m being the change I want to see I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 12:37 AM

If men and women love each other so much, why do we always put each other down? Are we stupid???
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/23 12:27 AM
1

Well what I’m saying is that by rejecting someone ONLY for their looks it counts as objectification since it involves “the action of degrading someone to the status of a mere object.” And last I checked, objects don’t have personalities to consider. I’m not just talking about finding someone attractive here, I’m talking about people being shallow. It happens between both men and women and it is objectification in every sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 08:27 PM
1

I wonder what the women on r/foreveralonewomen would think of this post…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 08:11 PM
1

Okay and? Does that make objectification okay then?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 08:08 PM
1

Getting rejected purely for how you look is a perfect example of men being objectified by women. Furthermore, it’s also disrespectful. It’s fine if you believe men have it better, I respect your opinion. Just know it’s not all sunshine and rainbows for some.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 04:07 PM

We both have privileges but it doesn’t really matter who has more or less (in the dating scene I mean) because everyone’s pretending their gender has it worse anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 02:39 AM
1

Bro why would I wanna ditch my girlfriend just because someone else ticks more boxes??? People who do that clearly have no concept of right and wrong. TLDR; She would already be perfect because she would be MINE god dammit!!
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 02:10 AM

So THAT’S why there are so many twats here, it makes sense!
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 02:07 AM

Honestly I don’t think so, people are too horny
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 01:29 PM

I still don’t really mind?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/23 02:18 AM

Yes, absolutely. If she was asexual, I could just have a wank instead lol
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 09:31 PM
6

Good point, I do have a habit of engaging with rage-bait posts a lot
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 09:24 PM
3

Yes, she would. Because I love her.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 09:23 PM
17

I’m sorry, but who the fuck wants to be loved just because they “provide something”? That doesn’t sound like love, that just sounds like looking at the practical benefits of being with somebody and calling it “love”. If you love your partner just because they have a home you share, make money, or look good, that doesn’t sound like “love” to me. The person inside HAS to mean something to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 06:53 PM

Instagram reels is where I see it the most. I swear all I see on that website is stupid gender politics related stuff when all I wanna see is some funny shitposts, like gimme a break. Imo it’s probably the most sexist website
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 06:41 PM
2

Men and women are both visual and it’s okay for both of them to feel upset about their partners eyeing other people. Case closed.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/23 04:59 PM
12

This reminds me, I saw this tiktok compilation on YouTube (the channel had “sigma” in its name so you can tell it was a load of shite) of women in their 30s crying over how they can’t get a man their age. The channel itself had text and cutaways that implied that the women shown had shitty personalities without providing any evidence that they did. As you can expect, a ton of red and black pillers blindly ate that shit up.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 03:40 AM

I don’t see why she has to wash underneath her foreskin, but whatever makes her happy :)
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 12:41 AM
2

To not ever cheat lol, why do people do that? Like, just break up normally. Are they stupid?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 08:44 PM
3

Agreed. All people post is their opinions, so the only thing worth doing is just asking people things instead of debating
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 03:53 PM

to be loved without being attractive Tbh I don’t even care if my partner was unattractive at this point. I just wanna be loved, man
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 11:06 AM

Something in the back of my mind tells me this could depend on the culture you grow up in, but I could be wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 12:12 AM

They’re goofy “I can fix her” ahh mfs 💀
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 11:55 PM

Even the so called "Karens" who called the cops on innocent guys said they did it because they felt "uncomfortable" Apparently you can’t read.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 06:01 PM
8

Did you not read the post? You seem lost
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 05:27 PM
16

I think calling the cops on people who have done absolutely nothing should be considered a waste of time for police officers
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 05:22 PM

I know. I’m correcting OP because she thinks it’s a gendered experience to not want a spouse when in reality there are plenty of other people who feel the same way. Point is, OP isn’t special for thinking this way and it’s not a new phenomenon whatsoever.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 06:41 PM

I’ve seen men say the exact same thing for us, except more often. I think in general a lot of people are tired of dating drama and want to focus on other things that give us happiness given how bloody complicated dating is now. I’m also one of these guys who’s complete without a girlfriend, so I think I do “get it” lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 04:09 PM
1

Idk honestly, I think with some people they just really care more about the benefits marriage provides. Typically when engaged people don’t like to focus on the negatives
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 01:55 PM
1

I mostly lean left when it comes to a lot of political issues, but I identify as a centrist as (when it comes to certain issues) I can swing to the right from time to time. For example I believe women and men should be allowed to be promiscuous if they want to be, not just because I believe it’s their right to be, but also because I think it would also make it easier for me (someone who prefers more reserved women) to know who NOT to go after in the dating world.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 02:31 AM
1

People usually get married because they’re in love, so that’s why in case you’re wondering lol
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 02:19 AM
3

The average man doesn’t do that and most people don’t live in the US lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 09:51 PM
22

Why should men commit? Because you love your partner??? Is that good enough of a reason lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/23 08:27 PM
12

This is the perfect comeback to the people who say “(insert gender) should be allowed to cheat because it’s in our BiOlOgY!1!1!”
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 03:42 PM
5

On the first paragraph you MIGHT have been onto something, but after that you pretty much lost me. I think a lot less people would disagree if you said that only a certain kind of man actively goes after girls who date around constantly, and is therefore the source of their cynicism
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 08:05 PM
1

But what if the girl liked femboys? Surely there’s some, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 04:19 AM
2

What did that commenter OP mentioned mean by “I have no respect for those who are shy and awkward”? I hope she just meant it in a dating setting cos that made my socially anxious arse a bit bloody offended
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 04:16 AM
3

Female women As opposed to female men I suppose lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate30/10/23 03:52 AM
7

No. If you hate commitment so much then why not get a prostitute or a friend with benefits?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/23 12:17 PM
1

I think crime is bad!!! Very naughty.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 03:49 PM

Me taking a big fat shite, that’s something that women can’t control
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/23 07:54 PM
1

Wtf is wrong with you, Automod? You’re going on a rampage with all those other comments at the bottom lol
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 09:40 PM
1

Personally yes, if a woman lacks a personality of her own then it feels like she lacks an identity. And if she lacks an identity or anything that makes her unique, then it’s significantly harder for me to truly fall in love with her. I get excited when her personality traits differ from what I expect in some cases too, since it can be fun to learn more about her even if it doesn’t really “service” me to a very big degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 09:29 PM

Nobody should be allowed to film in gyms. They should make you put your phone in a locker or something before going into a workout room as a way to not disrupt people’s workout time. People don’t like getting caught on video without consent
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/23 01:45 AM

Bro HAD to have been a boomer
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/23 06:10 PM

Is that really true? I was under the impression that humans were more attracted to things they find exotic or different
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 01:43 PM
2

Honestly I like a good bit of meat on my ladies, but not to the point that you’re morbidly obese. That being said, I think the range for what most men consider to be “acceptable” body types is a lot bigger than we’re given credit for. I personally don’t see that many men demanding women be skeletons, but I know for a fact they exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 01:40 PM
4

Again, who told men that morals made women wet? My mum lmao Who told men that's the sole reason to have morals? I dunno, some fucking LOSER probably did. You’re right when you say that you should have good morals because it’s the right thing to do btw. Being good to someone JUST so you can be rewarded is the very opposite of being moral.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/23 08:46 PM
3

Finally, someone who GETS IT! Yeah it’s honestly a shitshow on this sub. And the amount of times I had to tell people “everyone is different” is comical
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 11:09 PM
1

I think overall people should just date people instead of bodies.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/23 05:48 PM

I never denied that tho lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 09:53 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 08:32 PM

A woman having the same interests as you is unattractive? How does that work?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 08:21 PM

When did I say it was?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 05:54 PM

Some guys really are nerding out about Transformers to a normie like Stacy on a date and wondering what they did wrong lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 12:27 PM

Seriously, they only ever talk about certain types of women. I guess it’s true that a lot of us guys only ever look at “Stacies” and judge them, despite the fact that they’re probably not even compatible with us in the first place
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 12:20 PM
7

You can also stop being fat by being less lazy lmao
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/23 01:56 AM

Thanks for your answer. Also congratulations for your engagement, I hope your marriage is very happy when it happens!

My personal curiosity
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/23 08:17 PM
1

I mean that depends on the woman. Some want tiny muscular guys, some don’t
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 11:38 PM
1

Well it’s possible though, isn’t it? Don’t dodge the bloody question lol
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 10:04 PM
2

What if the tall guy was anorexic but the wee guy was a championship wrestler?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 07:04 PM
10

Point taken, thank you
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 10:55 AM
34

They feel protected when their boyfriend is significantly tall What I wanna know is from what exactly though? It makes sense if we’re talking about the prehistoric era, but obviously times are different. I get there’s a “feeling” behind it all, but a short guy could beat a tall guy into oblivion if he knew what he was doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 02:09 AM
7

Honestly I think I’d just have a wank every night I’m not having sex to tide me over, I can be patient lol. But if it’s seriously bothering me, I think it would be funny if I just flat out asked her at the most random time “so when are you gonna fuck me again?” Overall I think it might be better to not be super serious about it, because the last thing I want is “pity sex”.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/23 01:20 AM
12

Holy shit
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/23 03:51 AM
1

90s, bitch.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/23 01:55 AM
4

All of this is untrue, my dad seduced my mum with the raw power of his confidence and they eventually had me, as well as a decently long marriage lol Will a small bod and loads of confidence get you LESS girls? Sure, it could. But why does it matter if you’re searching for just one woman to spend your life with?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 08:11 PM
2

I mean if you want a purely financial marriage like how they had in the Middle Ages then I can’t see anything wrong with that. Just make sure your partner also agrees to it being non-romantic so that it doesn’t become a one-sided mess.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 06:52 PM
1

I’m not overcomplicating bloody anything, the situation is just naturally complicated. Wanna know what is complicated? Humans and the way we think. Because we as men (and women) have our own different tastes and preferences due to all of us being these things called “individuals”. Long story short, stop lumping us all together like we’re a hivemind or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 04:11 PM
1

But beauty is entirely subjective though. You can have the wackiest looking features out there and I can guarantee there’s somebody out there who will look at it and go “AWOOGA!! I think I’m in love!”
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/23 07:58 AM
1

I don’t think it’s necessarily wrong for her to go out of her way to avoid the guys who didn’t like her till she turned skinny. As another commenter said, if I was a woman I would probably go for someone entirely new in case I got fat again somehow.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 07:44 PM
0

Lol why would I (as a 30 year old with my life together) want to spend said life with someone who hasn’t even started hers yet?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/23 06:38 PM
5

I know I sound really ignorant when asking this, but doesn’t that depend on the individual? I feel like there are probably loads of women who would be turned off by it for their own reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 11:16 PM
5

Damn, nobody’s safe then
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 10:49 PM
1

Hard agree, the very thought of dating strangers is incredibly icky in my opinion. Frankly I have no idea why people do it and it baffles me.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/23 08:12 AM
4

I think OP might be talking about commitment here. Attraction-wise, holy fuck I LOVE promiscuity. But if we’re talking about a long-lasting relationship where we’re meant to just to be for each other and nonody else, then to me promiscuity is a red flag.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/23 05:46 PM
1

Good point, though if it’s not social anxiety then the rest could just be nervous. It’s a very human thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 09:25 PM
3

Or maybe, now listen closely, OP because this will blow your mind… Maybe some people have social anxiety? Crazy I know.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 07:49 PM

5ft something here, personally I’ve always preferred tall girls over smaller girls because I like the idea of getting piggyback rides from her lol. But in all seriousness, it doesn’t really make that much of a difference. It’s not inherently un-feminine to be tall either because a lot of supermodels also happen to be quite big.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 07:46 PM
14

Or you can have a wank every morning if it’s super difficult for you to control yourself lol
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 05:24 PM
1

And they enabled poor behaviour how exactly? Sounds to me you’ve only met two men and they both happened to be arseholes lol
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 04:10 PM
1

I have never seen or heard of this double standard before. Though, if it is real like you say it is, wouldn’t it be better to be supportive of that guy instead of being a dickhead to him for no reason? He didn’t create the double standard, so why not be nicer and set an example when the rest of dating culture is so toxic? Treating someone like shit just because women also get treated like shit is going to fix nothing and makes you part of the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 10:50 AM
1

Wow what an arsehole lol
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/23 01:35 AM
8

Don’t listen to that person. There was nothing that could have been done to prevent it, and it was her fault for being a heartless bitch. My heart goes out to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/23 10:36 PM
6

Ah, so that’s where all the terrible people reside. Interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/23 05:00 PM
9

Oh yeah, it’s only like half the world’s population we’re talking about here s/
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/23 08:13 PM

If you’re attractive you’re gonna get more girls. However, the more girls you get the more likely you are to get with a toxic bitch who only likes you for said looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 09:12 PM
1

It’s a joke, mate
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 05:40 PM
1

Holy shit, does that make me a woman then!!!?!?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/23 04:28 PM

What is it that doesn’t make them good enough?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/23 08:01 PM
1

Having her try to bully me I guess, but that never really happens

Don’t worry it’s all good. I do think we have a problem with the sexualisation in anime though, and you’re right, it alienates a lot of people from wanting to get into it.

Shoujou isn’t a genre marketed or the male gaze though, it’s designed for the female gaze because it tends to feature sexualised men with a single woman as the main protagonist. What I’m saying is that it’s unfair to lump all of Japanese animation into this perverse and sexualised idea of itself, because you have so many options if you’re not into that. Are the sexualised anime popular? Of course they are. But so are other series that have no sexual themes whatsoever like Nichijou, K-On, Bocchi …

You mean to tell me men are going out of their way to watch Shojou? I mean a lot of anime are about objectifying women but not all of them are. In fact I’d go as far as to say the majority tend not to. As for video games, it’s not very smart to lump that in too. Nintendo games for example are supposed to cater to a wide range of audiences regardless of gender (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby) and those series have huge multi-gender fanbases

I’m one of these people. Call me a coward but it’s mainly because I’m scared of getting with the wrong person and ending up getting cheated on by them. My father cheated on my mother when I was only 5 years old, it resulted in my dad becoming more absent in my life. Long story short, it traumatised me to think that such a loving couple like them could stoop so low. It could very well happen to me, getting betrayed like that, and it terrifies me. Especially considering the fact that cheating is s…

I think many are just superficial and entitled a lot of the time. But at the same time it’s also the superficial and unrealistic girls who say the wackiest shit on TikTok who get the most attention compared to the girls who have good opinions. I think that since people, views and the algorithm strive off of negativity, it leads me to believe that there are fewer toxic and superficial girls in the world than social media would have you believe. But who knows, I could be wrong.

Completely monogamous relationship with a nice lady I can spend the rest of my life with. She and I have a child or two, and we dedicate the rest of our lives to the happiness of both ourselves and our children. I don’t really care about her looks or how much money she makes, all I ask is that there’s no manipulation, lying, cheating, or fighting from either of us and we follow each other’s boundaries to a T. That’s pretty much it.

My advice to the men who just want to fuck a lot for absolutely no reason: Just have a wank

You make a really good point there. Do you think that Gen Z will change to prioritise getting into lifelong commitments as they get older? I’m Gen Z myself and how much people seem to prioritise hookups and “fun” is a tad bit concerning for me personally

Oftentimes it can be about personality, because if the woman wanted a lifelong relationship then the last thing she’d want is a man who’s a complete shite-bag. Aye, looks matter but that’s not what we’re talking about here. Surely if you want to spend your life with someone they have to have a good head on their shoulders, right?

Can any women here confirm this? Is this true? Because for all my life I thought I had to be smart and be able to have deep conversations with the ladies in order to truly click with them.
