I think that hopefully most people in this subreddit realise that it's just one lonely troll, that probably does this because he's so frustrated with his real life that he feels the need to feel like a big man on the internet.

Not from my phone, and that's not the point I was making anyway; once a man has been accused of rape, even with no evidence, he is treated by society as a rapist. Its pretty common for them to lose their jobs, their friends will dis-associate themselves, the accused family is put through a massive ordeal, and there are cases where men have been killed because of false rape claims. Will find a link when I'm not on my phone.

It's pretty much a joke, I expect that the person just saw an opportunity to make a funny joke, and probably would have succeeded even if it were women that were mentioned in the status. Non issue to me.

I just find this sad if I'm honest. She was diagnosed with autism and ADHD. I realise that an argument against this is not all autistic people do this stuff, but I still think that it's kind of sad to see her treated like a criminal because of her condition.

I agree right up to the last frame. I'd imagine that it is the few ruining it for the many, and treating women as a single entity, rather than as a group of individuals. But yeah the double standard is pretty shit.

Ignoring legitimate issues to women is exactly the same as women ingoring male DV because it doesn't happen as often; even if an issue isn;t the biggest, even if the person with the issue has very few other issues, it's still an issue . In fairness, women do have a lot to be angry about towards the GOP... not saying that I agree with everything that she says, but I can't even begin to understand how frustrating it must be to be a woman in America at the moment, when it comes to politics.

As a guy, I've said to male friends that I'd be disgusted to see them naked, and I've seen plenty of people make fake vomit noises when talking about other naked guys.... surely it's natural to say that you don't find something attractive, because that's all they're saying.

I think that we have to use our own reasoning here: How would we feel if a mod came to the subreddit and told us that they were moving the subreddit to more equal terms? Would it not be better to campaign for a Men's representative? Because the way I see it, the direction that you intend to take the capacity is completely away from what it is by title.

I think the point is that it's hypocritical for women to say that only women characters are objectified; of course characters are objectified, because they play a large role in a game. As OP put it, saying just women are objectified is very selective.
