It affects society and breaks it down. I thought women were all about community? Oh. Only when it applies to women…..man can just rot.

What women say will happen: "Women love interesting men with hobbies, get a hobby - you will meet more women and they will find your skill/hobby interesting, you can't fail! I know 4567 people who all met their SOs doing hobbies!" What Society Says will happen: "Don't get hobbies or join sports etc to meet women, do it for yourself, if you meet a women it's a bonus, but that is how a few of my friends met their S.O's. Maybe you'll be lucky and connect with someone" What ACTUALLY happens: You joi…

I think those people are short sighted and think they know how life works. but I understand that at the time, they think they are correct. life is tough, esp later. having a good support partner to support you through things like illness that require constant companinoship cannot be substituted with friendships. esp as friends get older, move on to their partners, or move away. all because you thought his shoes were the wrong color, or he gave you the ick for 3 seconds.

People are missing out on valuable long term partnerships that get you through life. Companionship is one of the most important thing for happiness. And they are doing it because “ew I don’t like his shoes”.

inspired by the online dating thread that was removed a few days ago - I propose a real life dating challenge that I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money on. the challenge is an "equal" girl pitted against an optimized average looking guy in a singles atmosphere setting. take a 5 foot 10 guy who is in shape, groomed/dressed well, normal social skills, but average in the face vs a 5 foot 6 girl who is in shape, groomed/dressed well, normal social skillls, and average in the face. I bet anyone…

you can woo a women over time with your personality if she is not at least unnattracted to you. however, you cannot woo a women over time if she finds you physically unnatractive. problem is, 90-95%% of men are physically unnatractive to women
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 04:44 AM
2

no, you can't. that's a blatant lie. you know how many women I've met who wish they could be with a guy or even tried to have enter a relationship with a guy who had a confident personality, but she just was not attracted to him? tons. 95% of the time, you can NEVER overcome lack of physical attraction with personality. find a women that likes your look, and then just be yourself. thats the formula for success.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 04:41 AM

agree wtih you that a lot of men are laser pointed on "can I fuck her?", vs adding in long term qualites (comfort traits, compatible with life goals) the tough part for women is the "arousal traits". it's fairly easy to find a man that can make a women feel comfortable, whos company she enjoys, who has interesting convos, has similar life goals/values what's hard is finding a man she finds physically arousing with those same goals. that's the true problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 04:38 AM

no. standards have gone up. tons of socially adjusted, ambitious, well groomed men that struggle today because they are not physically attractive enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 04:36 AM

most modern women don't select men based on long term values that actually are conducive to a realtionship they select men based on arousal qualties like looks, swag, etc. and hope these same men have long term qualities.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 04:35 AM

they want good *Attractive men *attractive = tall, nice jaw, swag, charisma, charm, good clothes, the 9 yards, the top 1%. literally, this is the whole equation right here. when a women complaints, just put this *attractive disclaimer in front of it. and then list the fact that it's the same top 5% of men that women in general consider attractive.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/06/24 04:25 AM

Men are intended historically to be disposable, commodified, extracted for resources and validation, And to compete with each other for attention for women. Their hypergamous engine running and raising the standards higher and higher for the benefit of better genes, the fuel being male validation and the catalyst being feminism and unrelenting choice via social media. Men are flys, to be discarded, swatted, rotting in the streets. We are returning to how nature intended

According to reddit, being a single parent in the dating world is equivalent to dating someone who lives in their parents basement at the age of 35, has a long criminal record, or is morbidly obese with a mental disability. 'I found the perfect person - he/she has the same values as me, is very attractive, has their shit together, has a job, house, can cook, loves puppies, calls their mom everyday, volunteers at a hospital, met the president, is an astronaut, saved a family from a burning buildi…

dood, the “bar” for attractive is so damn high that even a guy making 150k and is in shape an average looking in the face is still average.

yup. bone structure (including height) >>>> everything. most women I know would rather sleep with a skinny emaciated hipster with a nice sharp jaw and hunger eyes and thin but wide frame than a narrow shoulder sloped guy who is muscular and has a 6 pack. even if said guy is quadless wearing skinny jeans with zero ass and weighs 120lbs soaking wet - dat face and jaw will make her want to pounce.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/24 08:39 PM

1) 1/2 Asian 2) doenst matter 3) id be more than happy with an averaged face women who was also athletic. 4) 5 foot 10 Yeah, it’s very much the same. But I don’t think I’m being unreasonable at all. If I am please call me out on it.

Those of you on the "looks matter the most for women" side, What is the must frustrating aspect of dating / what is your greatest fear. Mine has ALWAYS been that even after looksmaxxing (to a reasonable degree, barring extreme measures like significant plastic surgery), that I will continue to fail the "minimum looks threshold" level required to attract a women whom I am also attracted to enough to have a physical relationship with, and said women would also have similar high level traits as me …

Spot On. Packing on muscle is only the "ice on the cake" if a women is already attracted to your face and height, period. Most women would rather a date a skinny guy or guy with beer belly and a nice face over a man with even an average face plus 6 pack/defined arms/etc. As a guy with a dead average face but incredible body, I have had very humbling experiences in my life that highlighted this. last one I was out at a bar and there was this guy sitting next to me - I chatted with about a gym pla…

yeah - its frustrating that women are so attuned to social heirarchy/value perception and men aren't like that. like I'm sitting here thinking "I know what I'm worth and am very happy/confident with my life, but I'm just new here, so I need time to make connections and get social proof" but women see it as "ehh this guy seems lower on the totem pole, meh"

interesting point on my personal vibe actually changing (vs just the vibe around me changing). I think I have in that I'm constantly around new social environments trying to make new connections/etc versus in my old envrinment just chilling/having fun. could be portrayed as "needy".

I don't agree that I don't know how - I did totally fine in my old city escalating/approaching and I do great online dating. Depends on the guy and the delta between his 20's and 30's, as well as the women he is around. I arguably look better now than I did in my twenties, mostly because of a unique situation I had where I had an extreme babyface (I looked like a child) that I grew into in my 30's. Using a more direct comparison, women in both their 20's and 30's show way more interest in me now in non-social circle environments (bars, dating apps, etc) than when I was in my twenties. at the same time, when I meet new…

What I have an issue with is when some women put way too much emphasis on the percieved external status of a career title or degree. Example: Brad, the financial analysis for goldman sachs making 100K a year with a masters degree in accounting. But he also has 150K in debt from the degree and lives in a thuper fancy apartment with a leased BMW: "OMG I Started dating this guy he has a MASTERS and works for GOLDMAN SACHS and drives a BMW and lives in succh a nice place omg sooo yummyyyyyyy" Poor t…

yeah, most women care may more about the face/height than muscles. muscles are an added bonus, not someone women are attracted to inherently.

within average = nothing special. I am nothing special as it appears to women who don't know me. that is 90% of men. just facts. not humblebragging.
/r/seduction20/05/24 08:13 PM

haha yeah - well usually most men do far better in social circles/environments than online. I just curated my pictures and profile to be very good - that's the only reason why it works for me to be honest. yeah - good luck on the in person - that is way better IMO if you can pull it off. I never really get those kinds of signals ever in person so please don't waste those opportunities (for me)

Desperation can absolutely be conveyed, unbeknowest to the guy, through subconcious actions (looking around the room trying to capture attention of a women, etc). unless an (actually desperate) guy actively is aware of this and tries to control it, it is pretty obvious.

Complete delusion. Competency only matters if you pass the looks threshold. And we all know that threshold js high enough where you could place 100 random competent men in front of 100 random women and the women would reject 90-95% of them on looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 09:23 PM

Agreed here. One thing is that the “threshold” plays less of a role in the modern dating age since women have access to men who exceed said threshold. So you have find some way for her to get to know the real you and have attraction develop in a non social media situation. I also think the threshold is far far higher than what most women say. It’s not just “if men just took a shower, groomed, wore nice clothes” they’d be fine. Most men will still not meet the threshold for like 95% of women even…

Image/facepill: A skinny guy with a small frame that has a more masculine face and can grow a beard will be more attractive to women than a fit muscular man who cannot grow good facial hair and has a baby face. Why? 1)babyface without facial hair cannot be compensated with a masculine body - it looks incongruent 2) you can easily compensate for a skinny/small frame body by growing a beard/wearing fitted clothes/having a masculine face when you have clothes on. However, Side by side comparison wi…

/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 06:27 PM

yeah that's the whole point and why it sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 06:27 PM

Arguably the most tortuous position to be in as a guy: you are unable to attract a women who same similar physical "stats" to you as well as smilar values, even after optimizing your looks/image, because of some limiting factor on your end or pure hypergamy. example: you're a 5 foot 5 guy who is in great shape/values fitness, dresses well, is socially confident, good job, similar value - and you fail to attract a women with the same "stats" because you are too short. so you're stuck having to se…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 05:39 PM

crazy thought: you have an EASIER time gaining attraction from an attractive women as an average straight male by transitioning to a women versus staying a man (and ironically becoming more "feminine") why? - supply and demand and niche maxxing. a lot of lesbian/bisexual women will date a more average looking women and have much higher standards for straight men.

Social environments where you a core group and a way to "network" out of that core group easily and said environment has a lot of single women that rotate in. bonus points if the environment is somewhere where you can demonstrate competency. example - large Co-Ed sports league in a city with lots of singles where you are team captain and you go out and all mingle afterwards. It's still WAY harder than people realize though.

But for every average man, there is an average woman. yeah, but average women don't show interest in average men, very rarely. I've been in a sports co-ed mixer for a few a months now. there are probably close to 100 people total that rotate in - some new, some constant, a healthy mix of 50/50 men/women. we often get drinks/food after and sometimes go out separetely. none of the women are really into any of the men in the group unless they are objectively the top men (tall, fit, etc). people try…

same thing applies. even if you meet women organically, 90% of men aren't going to get said women interested in them. they will have to chase to some extent. I'm not sure what is this fantasy land where a man hangs out, does his thing, meets poeple, and women develop crushes/interest in them. I've only seen it if the man is a top guy. otherwise, the man will have to chase. ask girls out he meets. take an interest in them romantically. still get rejected a ton until he finds one that gives him th…

Completely Impractical. Also depends on your interests/values. Also, men cannot afford to date based on a "Standards" approach in this modern dating market - women often reject men that they do have a lot in common/vision due to superficial reasons. same with men. I'll use myself as an example to illustrate the impracticality of your proposal: I'm a very fit guy who loves to play tennis, travel, high paying job (200K), intelligent, social. blah blah blah. so, using the practical approach, I shou…

1) There are a much much higher proportion of women who aren't spoiled by hypergamy/social media/hivemind/hypersexuality than people lead on here 2) "Body Game" - or getting a chiseled physique is a tiny TINY part of the equation for women. see so many men lift only get men and zero women after them. women honestly do NOT give a shit about it unless they already like you.

THIS. it's crucial for people to understand this subtle difference between men and women. This is also why mass exposure of more CHADS to women via online dating/social media is killing the dating market. the natural hypergamy "firmware" is working in the background to auto-adjust to the nearest CHAD(s)

I’m 38 and the ONLY women that hit on me last summer were in their mid twenties - one was 24 (went home together). But again, I’m a unique case since my issue in my twenties was that I looked way way too young and that was a dealbreaker for most women. Now I look like I’m 29 and that’s why it works for me. Doesn’t apply to Everyone tho

Being in a relationship with a good woman boosts your attractiveness tenfold. less needy because you already have someone in general when you are out with you women, other women notice. you also get into conversations more easily with women becuase you are already with one (safety factor) a lot of guys I know in relationships are dressed by their women (seriously). if your family comments on you - it's meaningless. "oh you look so handsome today son" if your friends comment on you - it means you are above average: "bro you looking fire tonight" or a female friend saying "oh wow I like how that shirt fits on you, looking fresh" if you have random women you don't know comment on you - you are a legit CHAD. "hey handsome" I'd say that's honestly the easiest way to tell. success on apps, relationships can also work but that can be dependent on factors than per…

Utlimately this is just a simple - "it's unreasonable to be celibate, but there is ALWAYS a risk" sort of stance. some things in life - are technically unfair, and this is one them, that unfortunately should not be changed since protection of children is priority #1. even though it's a shitty situation - the only foolproof not have sex (as a women could SAY she doesnt want kids / be on birth control / etc. then CHANGE her mind, and you'd be still on the hook). the ONE thing I'm completely agains…

dating in 1950 "swell guy" timmy approaches: oh hi! thought I'd introduce myself lady: "oh, he's nice, and he has a good job. you know, my papa always said its good to find a guy with a good job, takes care of himself, has good morals, he ain't terrible looking either. dating in 2024: normal stable guy approaches: oh hi! my name is ___ lady: "oh em g, seriously? I only date guys over 6 feet. his nose lose kind of funny. he gave me the ick when he couldn't pronounce one word correctly" swag guy a…

weakness = the perception that you are consistently failing to control your emotions and outcome, which the women then starts interprating as an internal character flaw rather than a one-off "oh he had a bad day". good vulnerability: "I'm struggling with making friends, it reallly hit me hard today, I'm new to the city. I've made an effort every week to put myself out there and meet people, at bars, sports, meet ups but nothing seems to stick. I finally broke down a bit last night and admiited i…

god I hate it when redditors invalidate your stances on completely unrelated subreddits because you posted something on another subreddit. "10 reasons why pizza tastes great" "omg, don't even respond to this person, look at their post history, they constantly post on a subreddit that mentions the red pill incel vibes, stay away"

By rare I don’t mean it never happens - moreso that it just happens probably a few times a year max. This is actually normal for most men. I’d say if I interact with 100 single women, 2 or 3 of them would walk away and think “oh he’s kind of cute”. Which again - is fairly par for the course. To get that one that finds me baseline cute - I need to interact with probably close to 100 women - which takes close to a year- thus it becomes just a pain unless I want to get into approaching etc. People …

uh, if you are short or have an unneapealing face getting fit isn't going to make you attractive. it might help a little, but usually not enough.

What is the right mindset/next steps for men who optimized their looks, but still don't meet the minimum attraction threshold for women. example - a man who gets a muscular body/6 pack/lean, dresses very well, grooms, but still isn't considered at least "oh he's cute" by some subset of women? I can find women that find my attractive, but it is incredibly rare and only if they like my "look". I'm half asian and have a neotonous babyface that is just not appealing - and the funny thing is that get…

your entire post is posited on the assumption that you MUST be attracted to them initially for ANYTHING to work. what level of attraction are we talking about? mind-blowing I want to jump his bones? just a little? he's kind of cute? studies have shown attraction can grow over time, especially with women. usually, you have to ..not find them at least unnattractive....that is the bare minimum. here is what is concerning - people are under the assumption that life will "just be fine" in perpetuity …

It's very frustrating - to see men that have supposedly the opposite qualities women desire in relationships. it makes you think there some kind of "unspoken language" or weird factor that you are completely unaware of. I'd say this is far far less common than you think - most men who are not attractive, socially anxious, uninteresting generally struggle massively with getting into relationships. I have noticed a weird prevalence of some men who fit the above that seem to always be in relationsh…

This. Although I think the real truth lies somewhere in the middle of what women espouse on here and youtube street interviews. as a 5 foot 10 slightly above average looking guy, I should be failing miserably according to street interviews - but I do just fine. not amazing, but just fine. I don't really use my instagram, facebook, etc either. I will say that standards for a lot of women have gone up too much - and the problem is that these women (that want relationships) are self sabotoging them…

What’s the deal with SnapBack baseball caps? I was out last night and multiple women were saying how baseball caps worn backwards are “super hot”. Literally there was a guy who was alright looking but put on a cap and two girls were next to me were “oh the cap adds 2 points”.

the majority of women reject decent men becuase they don't meet the minimum looks threshold (despite being in shape). he's balding. he's a ginger. "I don't date blondes". he's too short. his nose is funny. he has funny fingers. on. and on and on. Also, don't even mention all the minitiature "icks" that don't really matter.
