I agree, but I think two year limit is a pretty defined rule and it would eliminate probably hundreds of unnecessary gray-area case a year due to one party being 18 and the other 17. How would a two-year age range system be abused?

Yeah, many people are 18 for the senior year of HS dating 16 and 17 year olds and its not weird at all. If we're gonna make a rule about it, just make it so under 18 has to be within two years of their own age so 16-18 and 14-16 is cool, but 15-18 is not unless they have parent permission or something. Pretty sure its like that in lots of Europe.

Yes, but the feminist argument is that women are capable of doing any job just as well as a man. Your logic is then implying that all other women are incapable of doing the job. If a company replaced ten men with ten women for a 23% savings and one woman underperformed so they have to rehire a man, they would still be saving 20.7% overall. In fact, there would still be savings even if only one woman could do the job, so assuming the wage gap exists implies that the reason businesses aren't cutting costs by hiring women is because they are all incapable. With all the downvotes we have, we might be. I remember trying to post factual research and promote discussion on why certain trends might exist--such as the pressure for men to be financial breadwinners therefore taking jobs that might be less interesting or further away from home for the money.....or research showing the breakdown of suicide rates across men and age showing a clear trend toward older males/veterans making up the majority of suicide victims and how that's not being talked about…

If a man were to poke holes in a condom, can he be forced to pay for the abortion? That's essentially the converse of what happened to the above OP, only he was forced to pay for life. There is no way to opt out as a man, which I know is the nature of our biology, but our legal system shouldn't exacerbate it. It's especially fucked up that you can lose custody and STILL owe child support. That's like paying for the lease on a car someone else drives.

Devils advocate here: It's an equity vs equality thing. It's all the rage in education right now. This happened to me on accident. Pledge with your card number, then report the card missing and get issued a new card. Probably even easier ways for it to happen, but they came after me for the money and if I hadn't given them my new number, there's not really anything they could do to me.

This is the most sensible rebuttal here. I agree that feminism is damaging, but I don't believe that it is what has caused the lack of concern for male issues. I blame that on hundreds of years of culture and media stereotyping men and others, creating, through generations, how we view each other today. EDIT: I should clarify that I wasn't completely discluding feminism from that blame.

I don't disagree, but talking about them on our main MRA subreddit does not help our image any. I was referring to open-mindedness regarding issues such as poor correctional-facilities for men, or a less effective example: ridicule for feeling the desire to be a woman...things that most men in the subreddit are not directly affected by, but still very much pertain to men. Glad to hear it. It's remarkable how clueless some people are to their acceptance of them.
