3	"Extreme Ownership" Lessons from this amazing book I used to be a night owl but now I'm in my bed by 10. It was tough at first, but really I've found that if I don't or barely sit down until im ready for bed I fall asleep easily. I also suggest those screen dimmer apps for your phone. I try to constantly fill my time at home with reading/cooking/cleaning/listening to podcasts/trying to learn German. 7	"Extreme Ownership" Lessons from this amazing book I fairly enjoyed the book, but I cannot recommend Jocko Podcast enough. It's great for military and just those wanting to improve or gain new perspectives. Totally changed my daily mindset. One example- I now wake up at 330 every weekday to eat/meditate/prep for the day followed by the gym at 5 before doing another workout with my Platoon for pt at 630. 14	Women's low self worth is the reason they are the way they are So this false self image affects men as well. When men are taught that being romantic and respectful is all they need to get the girl, they eventually feel they deserve the girl based on that premise. "I bought her flowers and chocolate, so she owes me a date/sex" or "that guy is such a douchebag, he just has a six pack, he doesn't deserve her, I do since I was nice to her". 1	Idk what is wrong with me... You're doing the same thing over and over, expecting the same result. Even a child knows not to touch the hot stovetop after getting burnt the first time. Quit feeling sorry for yourself and wallowing in your own self pity. Make some changes- easiest thing would be to do the opposite of what your first instinct is when you feel needy.
