Texting is for logistics. If I have a good feeling about a potential plate, like she's DTF whenever, it's usually a "come over tonight" text with "bring snacks" if I'm low. Nothing more. If she says some bullshit about not being able to she gets an "alright" or "k", showing IDGAF. If it's a yes I move on to further logistics. If I feel like she might flake, I text her to join me and possibly a few buds to something I'm going to do anyways.

I always end up bringing this topic to a conversation with a plate. It usually starts with her trying to seem important by texting all the time and with me asking how many of these men are in the friendzone. The amount of times they've responded by throwing them under their own bus still astounds me. Telling me shit almost exactly like this story. All I take from it is the fact that I'm in the 20% range with her confirming it. A nice reminder that I'm on the right path with self improvement. Fri…

My answer is no. The reason: Have you ever had fun doing something and then consiously went back to the more mundane thing? By choice, not by circumstances? 95% of people would say no. Just look at porn usage. Porn has shown us the real side of humans, the instinctual side. We were used to going the long way to get any rewards, not that we have it constantly with us in our pockets, on our computer, on the tv, we can't go back. We can't, without a great deal of effort, go into the zone of working…

I didn't say anything about holding frame, I'm just trying to get you to make your own decisions instead of relying on an internet board.

Nope. No reference. Never even heard of it. Just thought it sounded good and I guess they did too.

If you think it will improve you, then yes. If not, then obviously no. Whatever your decision, you must make it and then you must stand by it.

If you and someone else get along with each other more often than not and have interests that are similar don't cut them out of your life. Men are meant to be in a gang, which means they look out for each other and help each other. The women that men interact with are the ones to bargain and "soft next". A soft next is the same as going to another store to buy something because it's either better quality or a lower price, if not for both.

Don't take anyone's shit. Live for yourself first. Don't try to impress people. Make it so that as a side result of striving to improve your life you come off as an asshole instead of the other way around.

Get her as one of your plates, then add more. That's how your SMV will improve, by consistently getting women and then choosing the best at a later time. Right now your goal should be to increase your FWB's if all you have left to improve is your SMV. If you can improve all the other aspects TRP preaches, then do those first. Look good, feel good, live good, then fuck good.

Improve other areas of your life. Don't sit idly by trying to waste time. If you feel like programming is a good investment of your time pursue it. If you want to learn krav maga do it. If you want to make your degree a little less worthless look for good jobs with it or add onto it with other education. It's smart to ask for advice but do the things that the people you want to become are doing.

The best and easiest dread game is just controlling your attention. Take longer to reply, say you're busy every now and again without much more information. This makes her chase you. This gives you power. Don't go to the extremes so easily as this is your frame being broken, instead control yourself to control others.

The entitlement of deserving a free dinner is what would irk most people. If you don't want to pay for it make a suggestion that everyone pays their part. If they get offended tell them that the celebration shouldn't be a burden on people and that the company is what makes a good time, not a free meal. If she (and they) aren't using you, they'll understand. Always bargain as it's a win-win scenario. In this case, you don't pay as much or you lose a leech or two.

Start at the basics. That's what I did. Get healthy with your body, then get healthy with your mind, then get healthy with your life, and continue improving. Dive into the deep end and finish a day exhausted, then learn how to budget your time more effectively. If you're anything like me you're afraid to make mistakes, but those are the best times to learn. Go for what you want and deal with the hurdles as they show up.

Sounds like it's your mother that wants you to do more. IMHO it's her trying to find a reason to get dolled up and head out. You did your part, whether it was the right thing to do or not will only be answered with time, and then hopefully a lesson will be learned. If you can, let your mother know that you will not be attending the funeral. Don't tell her why, just tell her what. There may be some dread put on you for not going but that's a test that needs to be passed in order for it to not hau…

Lazy advice. "To fix the problem you have to fix the problem". A better way to convey this would be to tell OP to have fun with whomever he can wherever he can. Be outcome independent as it sounds like you already have the end in mind when you haven't even started. Have you introduced yourself to her? If not, just tell her your name and get a conversation flowing. Even better, have her notice you more by being the most fun (not funny) guy in the room. Also, eat, lift, read, sleep, etc., just kee…
