Damn, I just watched this movie 2 days ago. It really pissed me off when Nora (Laura Dern) said that mothers have to be perfect, while dads can get away with being a deadbeat. That's the complete opposite of the real world. Mothers can, at times, be clearly abusive, and no one will bat an eye. You best believe that a father, who shows even a small sign of being abusive, will be completely shit on
