You totally missed the point. You can't consent under such circumstances.
/r/MensRights28/12/21 03:58 AM
1

Rape also includes people being in positions of power. For example, doctors cannot have sex with their patients. It's illegal because the patient cannot consent due to the power dynamics. It doesnt matter if the patient is a man and the doctor is a woman, it's still rape. In the case of prison guards, they're in a position of power over the male inmates. This is also why it's illegal for 15 year olds to have sex with their teachers. The fact that you dont understand this is disappointing.

In retrospect, I think you might be right but I could see it happening too. The sad part is that rationally we shouldn't jump to knee jerk reactions in situations like this, but our innate instincts to want to protect children can make us act irrationally. I can't guarantee I would act differently but if a man was insisting it was actually his kid and the woman was stealing it, I think I'd be more inclined to make sure everyone stays put until the cops show up.
/r/MensRights19/12/21 06:19 PM

I luckily despise children because I have no patience for poor behaviour. But I can totally empathize with men who like working with children who dont feel comfortable with it because of how judgemental people can be.

I literally have a friend who was lured into a crew member's room on a cruise ship with the intention of hanging out and then found himself in a room with 3 gay men who wanted to have an orgy with him. He was 100% straight and it was traumatizing for him. But talking about this kind of stuff can make people accuse you of homophobia.

I had it done for medical reasons when I was an adult. I'm glad I had the option to do it but there were definitely downsides to it. I vehemently oppose parents making that decision for their sons.

I'm white but my Asian friends say some of the most racist stuff ever. Everyone is a little racist, it's just no longer socially acceptable for white people to be. Remember when the Israel/Palestine conflict started up recently and a lot of middle eastern people were being anti-Semitic? It took a good while before people reminded them that its not acceptable behavior. Weird times we live in.

The law in Canada is quite clear. You cannot wilfully expose yourself in public view, especially for sexual arousal. Otherwise every guy could just stand by the window overtly masturbating. No offense but that's not a world I want to live in, and I'm an MRA.

Yeah exactly. I don't really blame them because they are just trying to find a way to get attention but unfortunately they often end up doing things that cross the line. One time I went on a blind date with a girl who was quite unattractive. I'm a nice guy but I had zero attraction towards her. Still I decided that I would at least go on the date and just never call her again or let her down easily. For #8, I would say that what bothers me the most is how the word "rape" has been cheapened. Having a few drinks and hooking up with someone is literally normal human behavior because alcohol helps eliminate social barriers and shyness. If we say, I would never have done that while sober, well no shit! That's why we drink. It brings out our wild side, it helps us be more social and talkative. The fact that there is sometimes some regret involved after the fact does not make it rape.

Lol the spider thing is ridiculous. I cant tell you how many times my spouse has screamed and is in tears to get me to come kill a spider that is about as harmless as a mosquito in actuality. I could be on an important phone call, or in the middle of something, but NO the earth stands still until I come kill the 8 legged monster on the wall. Its ridiculous.

I was circumcised in my 20's for medical reasons. I always tell everyone that I know the truth. I experienced reduced sensations and my orgasms are not as pleasurable as they were before. Not having foreskin desensitized the head of my penis. Its night and day. Parents have NO right to do that to their children. As someone who grew up with foreskin, I have firsthand knowledge of the difference, and its night and day.

I've done the whole "be nice, always ask for consent and never assume, be the man that feminists say they want" and I literally got friendzoned five times in a row after going out with different girls over a couple of months. It was my most depressing year ever. Then after I started acting like a "toxic man" again, I started getting laid. Figures..... I still remember this one time this girl said to me "ummm how much longer until you're going to put your arm around me?" as she got impatient wait…

Really sucks bro. I know its hard not to get emotional over stuff like this but you should have been the bigger person and said "I was just checking in to see if everything was okay since I noticed you were on at 2am. Sorry you misinterpreted that". It turns it on her. That said, never DM a girl at 2am that you dont know very well, you are asking for this type of overreacting response. We should be able to hit someone up and have it interpreted at face value, but in 2021 women are taught that me…

Calm down bud. Its basic common sense. Dont go to bad areas where you don't belong or you might get mugged. Dont walk in sexually provocative clothing at 2am alone, especially in an area where drunk people are leaving clubs. Put your seat belt on when driving. There are assholes in our world and contrary to what feminists believe, "teaching men not to be predators" would accomplish nothing. People know murder is wrong, still happens. People know assault and battery is wrong, still happens. Peopl…

At what point does a fetus become too developed to be aborted? By your logic aborting a fetus on the 3rd trimester when it absolutely could survive is warranted. Disgusting.

I was circumcised at the age of 20 for medical reasons. Cleanliness is better in that I dont get smegma anymore but my sensitivity has dropped dramatically. Sex does not feel as good anymore and neither do orgasms. I never had a UTI before and hasn't had one since. Never had any STIs before or after. The only two differences I experienced were (1) easier to keep clean but (2) at the expense of reduced sexual pleasure. Please let me know if you have any further questions because I've lived throug…

It's the same thing with learning to drive. When I started learning to drive I had a hard time staying in the lines. My friend told me to stop thinking about it and just drive. As soon as I did that, I stayed in the lines. Yes some girls will throw you under the bus or tell you to fuck off for various reasons (tired of getting hit on, having a bad day, just not into you) but the chances of winning the lottery however slim are still 0 if you don't even try and better than 0 if you do try. And eve…
