| 1 | Resarch: Women Ask for Raises as Often as Men, but Are Less Likely to Get ThemI was thinking about that too and it seems like you are right. I did some digging and found a study about employer loyalty. While it doesn't necessarily say women are more loyal it does say that women value non-financial aspects like a good working environment and communication over more money. Men, on the other hand, value respect and recognition in the form of financial rewards, more than women https://www.researchgate.net/publication/304490926_Employee_loyalty_differences_between_genders_and_… | /r/MensRights | 17/01/25 10:20 PM |
| 3 | Resarch: Women Ask for Raises as Often as Men, but Are Less Likely to Get ThemCould be indeed. I can't find in their study that they took that into account. Another thing that they didn't seem to include are sector-specific variables, and that women are more likely to take sick leave. And they are also not clear about the economic situation of the employees or the career goals (women are more likely to take time off when they grow older). Since the gap was only found in the group older the 40, this could be true. Also workethos might make the difference here, because men … | /r/MensRights | 17/01/25 05:55 AM |
| -9 | Stop saying the left has changed. Stop calling it the left. It’s Feminism. It's as much right as it's left. Looking at the people who finances the feminist movements, you'll see they are all rich elitist white men like Soros, Buffett and Rockefeller https://web.archive.org/web/20230628174838/https://isgp-studies.com/liberal-cia-feminism-and-lgbtq Big companies profit from feminism because it's setting up women and men against each other. It encourages women to prioritize career above family, which causes that women are too late to get child because when the time comes … | /r/MensRights | 17/01/25 03:08 AM |
| – | Resarch: Women Ask for Raises as Often as Men, but Are Less Likely to Get ThemI know but they say that "we were able to demonstrate to them that our main finding — women do ask — holds in both large and small companies, and holds for women with and without advanced levels of education. We also demonstrated that the finding is not because female workers have shorter lengths of job tenure or behave differently than men when they have dependent children." I don't know what to think about it. The study seems very biased but I haven't been able to find anything that refutes it | /r/MensRights | 16/01/25 11:53 PM |
| – | Resarch: Women Ask for Raises as Often as Men, but Are Less Likely to Get ThemBut reading the study, what other important factors could play a role in the gap that they did not account for in the study? | /r/MensRights | 16/01/25 11:22 PM |
