2	How feminism developed? Women wanted independence, to be able, if they chose, to be self sufficient and not dependent on a man in their life. If they can't work the same jobs as men they would struggle to support themselves. If they can't vote they can't implement change to help them be more self reliant. People have died from getting in the middle of domestic fights so there's a valid concern there. yes, in a perfect world he and his friend would have stepped in, he should have at least called the police.
