Imagine being able to find three men who are good enough in bed to have a roster… 😔
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:40 PM

Yess! That’s a good one
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:37 PM

I will never understand women who have casual sex with the expectation of getting into a relationship. Feels like you’re just setting yourself up to be hurt/disappointed at that point
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:36 PM

?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:35 PM

Bringing the real questions
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:31 PM

Interesting
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:30 PM

Wack
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:30 PM

I do. I never found boys and men my age to be on the same level as me
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:23 PM

How often are you having sex? If you met someone you did like enough to commit to, what do you think they’d think about your current situation?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:22 PM

Cheating is when one partner does something that both partners have agreed is out of bounds. If your spouse is okay with you fucking other people, and has given you explicit permission to do so, then it’s not cheating if you do. If you’ve agreed to exclusivity, it’s cheating.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:20 PM

Having sex with other men is cheating if the couple has agreed to exclusivity/monogamy. While I don’t think women should be sexualizing themselves on the internet for the sole purpose of validation when they’re already in a relationship, you can’t call it cheating unless a given woman’s partner has expressed that he doesn’t want her to do that, and she’s agreed to not do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:10 PM

Women investing time, energy, and/or resources into other men (or at least more time with other men than her partner)
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:05 PM

Nobody is allowed to be over a 7 there unless they’re a celebrity with a full face of make up. Also, the prettiest women get lower ratings than slightly above average women because all the angry repressed black pillers want to knock down their self esteem a peg.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:04 PM

Absolutely
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 07:03 PM

He thinks he’s literally God’s favorite, so
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 06:59 PM

I don’t think “a requirement for survival” is a good definition. Like, no one takes issues with if you say “children need lots of love and attention,” but a child starved of either of those things can survive, but doesn’t develop properly.. Needs should be defined as “requirements necessary for general well being”
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 06:58 PM

This is my new fav response to male whining
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 06:54 PM

I feel like men could just get a hot body through lifting and then post a useful thirst trap without their face…. There’s also the thing with hands, if you have nice ones
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 06:53 PM

Yeah. A fat balding dude putting together a chair is gonna be meh for sure
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 06:50 PM

Idk the furniture one would kinda do it for me. Women like seeing men be useful and heroic and stuff, that’s why male strippers dress up like policemen, firemen, cowboys, construction workers…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 06:48 PM

I mean, my mum’s pretty hot for a 46 year old. But she definitely looked way better in her 20s. It’s hard to beat youthfulness when it comes to beauty.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 06:27 PM

I think the argument is that most 40+ yo women are declining in attractiveness, and that there’s nothing wrong with 40 yo men dating much younger women if they can attract willing younger women.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 05:49 PM

Because some individuals have spontaneous sex drives. It’s not gonna be the ones with responsive sex drives masturbating with toys
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 05:27 PM

I don’t think 3 is a good sample size… just keep trying, and ask them out after like, 2 or 3 back and forths.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 05:19 PM

One ask-out out of how many conversations?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 05:15 PM

Oop, I gotta change my initial assessment… she looks so different in that dress
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 05:13 PM

Don’t talk too much. Get her number and arrange to meet after a few exchanges back and forth; getting to know one another is what dating is for. Too often conversations go nowhere and women feel like a dude is wasting her time, ironically.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 05:12 PM

Or children
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 05:10 PM

Her appearance is strange to me, because she doesn’t have deep or lasting wrinkles, but her skin wrinkles a lot when she makes expressions, and it also looks a bit droopy, somehow?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 05:07 PM

Since we’re playing this game: how old do we think this woman looks, vs how old she is? https://youtube.com/shorts/F6eHRWOnOE0?feature=share
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 04:57 PM

Sex toys are used both by individuals and couples.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 04:55 PM

I’d give her a 6 for body and a 6 facially, so on aggregate, like a 6.5. I’m a huge fan of dark features, good beards, and older men, so I’m gonna go with a 7 for him as well. ETA: After additional pictures of her body, I’m dropping it down to an aggregate 5.5
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 04:42 PM

Some women have told me they literally don’t get horny on their own though
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 04:36 PM

Thanks for doing that; I was curious ETA: I was looking at other pics from that night, and she looks better in those. But who’s to say what’s been airbrushed and edited and what hasn’t
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 04:31 PM

It would have been a rough 25 years if she was 25
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 04:16 PM

The dude looks 40 and the woman looks like she’s in her 30s
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 04:16 PM

That’s a terrible reason to be with someone
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 03:52 PM

You should. The women deserve better than you
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 03:16 PM

Men’s self esteem absolutely has to be in the toilet if they do this many mental gymnastics to explain away any woman’s commitment and affection. Jesus
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/23 03:11 PM

No. I am presently staying home with my toddler and keeping house.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 10:24 PM

Depends on what the 60 yo has going for them. I’ll be 42 when my husband is 67. I’m looking forward to doing some traveling with him in his retirement.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 10:10 PM

This is why I think it’s in women’s best interest to find a marriage-worthy partner early in life. We only ever lose options as we age.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 09:50 PM

Sounds right; I just didn’t know what it stood for
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 08:57 PM

Well now I think you are the one being ableist
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 08:57 PM

Can I pick whoever Hillary Duff was playing?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 08:47 PM

LMS?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 08:44 PM

How is it exclusive if all men are capable of generating income?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 08:30 PM

Cars are astrology for men
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 08:27 PM

Disabled men can make money too
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 07:43 PM

🤷‍♀️
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 07:43 PM

Husband pays for any family expenses; I use his credit card for groceries. I only use mine if it’s something that benefits me only, and that’s if I have the money in my checking account, or expect to make it before the billing cycle is over.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 07:42 PM

Don’t you have to pay hella taxes on that retirement money though?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 05:30 PM

How about a free bank, or high yield savings account?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 05:29 PM

Not always goods. Personally I really like having money, not spending it. It’s the sense of security, and things like not having a grocery budget, or having to pick a school for your kid based on what you can afford, instead of based on quality… but I don’t want brand name clothing or cars that are expensive for no reason or a big, useless rock on my finger, know what I’m sayin’?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 05:24 PM

*we don’t want broke men around
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 05:10 PM

I keep trying to convince my toddler that the photos of a baby on my phone are her, and that she used to be a baby, but she disagrees
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 05:07 PM

Imagine getting stranger-zoned by a kid (Jk)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 04:35 PM

Why so much in cash?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 04:32 PM

Ask her when her LMP was so you can track her cycle on an app like the rest of your situations
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 04:23 PM

Good to know. Thanks for sharing
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 04:21 PM

YMMV, I suppose. I got bad odors when I was doing it 3x a day
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 04:20 PM

The OP said in their state, if there are children born to a married couple, they have to go to court over child custody and CS, regardless on whether they agree with one another
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 04:12 PM

Nice! Is there a minimum balance requirement?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 04:11 PM

What’s the interest rate on the cash account?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 04:07 PM

The courts?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 03:43 PM

Kissing is like super intimate for me, so most of the time I didn’t kiss dudes until a month or two into the relationship. But I am a weirdo who had sex on just about every first date, just no kissing
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 03:42 PM

Woah
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 03:23 PM

It blows my mind that people still pay to let the banks hold their money for them
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 03:22 PM

Very few people want to raise a baby alone
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 03:06 PM

Nosy Q4A: how much money do you regularly keep in your checking account? And how old are you? I keep like $25 in mine; the rest goes to investments/savings/paying off the credit card as soon as I spend on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 03:05 PM

How is that not civil?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 03:02 PM

It’s not about who wants the seat up vs down. It should always be left down, with the lid closed, because flushing with it open spews toilet bacteria into your bathroom
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 02:49 PM

The fact that people want find any excuse to blame the present parent for the shitty behavior of the shitty parent boggles my mind and sickens me. So congrats on that
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 02:18 PM

You can actively attempt to do that, you mean. People change
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 02:10 PM

I see lots of complaints about single motherhood. They’re usually met with “well you should’ve picked a better baby daddy/ one that would have stuck around!”
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 02:05 PM

I feel like one’s vagina would start to smell and be really sore if one was having sex that frequently. Surely the micro biome can’t keep up with that many intrusions
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 11:07 AM

Maintenance dates and maintenance sex are two different things
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 11:04 AM

It’s not how it should work. Women who think like that set themselves up to feel used for sex. It should be thought of as an even exchange—something pleasurable two people do together, not something one person gives to the other.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 11:04 AM

Why don’t you go chat about it on r/fatlogic?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 02:05 AM

I’m sorry you’re struggling with that. I hope you find peace and healing
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 02:04 AM

Oh, I know. Just wondering what men are thinking of when they hear the word “fat”
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 02:00 AM

Maybe you are just insecure about your appearance? People can like more than one set of physical attributes. Personally, I know my husband loves big tits (who doesn’t?), and that mine are small. He still loves and is attracted to me anyway. He wouldn’t jump ship as soon as another big tittied woman hit on him.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 01:55 AM

I feel like you’re trolling at this point
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 01:52 AM

Do you feel out of control when you fap?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 01:49 AM

My Chad can’t rape or cheat on me
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 01:35 AM

My kiddo is nearly two
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 01:08 AM

But what’s the point of not masturbating when you’re horny?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 12:25 AM

Watching your coparent be silly and play with your children has to be one of the greatest experiences in life
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 12:22 AM

Idk man I seen some busted looking faces on women before
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 12:18 AM

What is the benefit to keeping the bear in your house?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 12:17 AM

Not to me. But I’m sexually submissive, so that’s probably why
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/23 12:13 AM

Some of y’all deserve it
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 11:26 PM

That’s true. Also leads into men thinking they can tell n count just by looking at people
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 11:02 PM

I wouldn’t trust myself not to poison or drug my family with the mushrooms I hunted lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 10:54 PM

Thanks; was having trouble with the spelling 😅
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 10:52 PM

No, we are not
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 10:38 PM

Dinner time! Pork chops seasoned with garlic, sage, lemon, sea salt and black pepper, an arugula, sautéed mushroom, and grilled Lima bean salad, and baked sweet potato with cinnamon for me, Same pork chops with crispy onion and potato pierogis, and cinnamon apple fries for Husband
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 10:37 PM

For sure
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 10:25 PM

We want men to be able to read our body language, because asking makes it awkward. Unfortunately some men are bad at that, so asking is best policy.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 10:14 PM

it doesn't matter if there's a tiny bit more chance if your baby being born with certain disabilities if there's a huge increased chance you can't properly look after them. It mattered to me. Also like, if you just take care of your body and go to birth classes and have your babies near a competent medical team, the risk of your births going badly goes way down… My mum had me when she was 20, and then my brothers when she was 33 and 36, and she said the pregnancies, the deliveries, and the recov…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 07:39 PM

They confuse the fact that most people are surrounded with people of a similar socioeconomic class, and tend to pick a partner from the people they’re surrounded with, with men caring about women’s income. It’s not hard for women to jump socioeconomic classes. Like you said, new-money wealthy men just want someone classy. Old money wealthy people require both class and money from any partner, because they deal with the judgement of their families and are pressured to increase their generational …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 07:20 PM

Mm hm. Those spanx are putting in work
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 07:09 PM

Because that’s when fertility is highest, miscarriage and birth defect risks are lowest, and the pregnancies and recoveries are the easiest. Plus you have lots of energy to keep up with your kids, and you get to be an empty nester by your 40s and enjoy retirement. I also think men should wait til 35 or older, so they’re financially stable and capable of supporting a family. So I spose I’m a proponent of age gaps
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 07:04 PM

"Why do you expect women to think like men" It’s funny, cuz every time I’m in an anonymous conversation about gender dynamics, where my gender isn’t immediately obvious, everyone assumes I’m a dude and asks me this question
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 07:00 PM

I wanna know at what point men think a woman is too fat
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 06:44 PM

I have no problem getting women who are lean
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 06:31 PM

Just looks like she fucked up her face with plastic surgery
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 06:25 PM

I see… what’s your body comp like?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 06:20 PM

So, casual?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 06:18 PM

Yes, yes, the resources
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 06:17 PM

I disagree
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 06:16 PM

Is this woman too fat for casual sex? What about for dating? https://youtube.com/shorts/a7wQyasfnPU?feature=share Purplishpossum, you’re not allowed to answer
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 06:04 PM

avoiding family creation in your 20s is very good advice. False for women. <25 is the best time to have your babies
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 06:02 PM

Porn is empowering if you really like making it, but it chews most people up and spits them out
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 02:20 AM

However a couple decides to do their version of “50/50” is fine, imo. If that looks like both partners working full time and both doing half of the housework, or one person working part time and doing 75% of the housework while the other works full time and does 25%, or one person staying home and doing 100% of the housework while the other works full time and does none of the housework. As long as both partners feel that it’s fair. Personally, I like traditional gender roles— as a woman, stayin…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 02:19 AM

I was think two weeks was short enough that she would get her ass in gear, cuz it’ll for sure take longer than whatever he tells her
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 01:52 AM

Give her a two week notice
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 01:00 AM

Men have always been easy peasy
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 12:34 AM

Today I made my husband a Thai curry chicken sandwich with arugula, coconut cream and peanut sauce, and blistered red bell peppers on garlic naan.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/23 12:01 AM

Yes… what else are you thinking of?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 11:48 PM

Why not? Although, I think they look more like bao buns
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 11:43 PM

🐱👄
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 11:41 PM

Glad to hear you’re being responsible
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 11:34 PM

Do men even like sandwiches that much?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 11:33 PM

PPD, fight porn, Korea, incel exit, marriage, US Army and Love After Lockup
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 11:27 PM

Q4All: on a scale of 1-10, how satisfied are you with your romantic and sex lives?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 10:56 PM

Damn, lucky you!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 10:26 PM

250 US dollars?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 10:15 PM

Sucks for you
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 10:12 PM

Your mom
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 10:10 PM

I preferred daily in terms of comfort, but monthlies are cheaper. Eventually I just coughed up the money for lasik though, since it’s cheaper in the long term
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 09:34 PM

Life hack: if you neglect your lawn let your grass grow for long enough, you get free grass seed and exterminators that work for free! (Snakes)
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:49 PM

I very much enjoy the privilege of staying home with my child
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:30 PM

That’s a good argument. I also feel that at some point in gestational development, it’s wrong to kill a semi- sentient/conscious fetus if it’s existence is a result of a personal choice you made. whereas I think it would be more morally conscionable if the pregnancy happened against the gestational carrier’s will… and even then, I think the pregnancy should be terminated as early as possible. But I recognize that that’s a feelings-based argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:27 PM

He could. But sometimes I don’t want that. Sometimes I just wanna get off in a minute or two and go back to sleep
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:20 PM

Good for her. I hope she’s happy and a great mother to them. I do not want to divide my time, energy, and resources up amongst multiple children, nor am I mentally healthy enough to care for more than one right now. That’s why I’m not having anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:17 PM

Wdym?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:16 PM

I would like it if my husband left me to it, cuz sometimes I’m close and he ruins it by talking to me. I’d probably leave him to it as well, because if he wanted sex he would just start it with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:14 PM

No thanks
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:10 PM

I would say that they should do more than “20 minutes of googling,” but I can’t argue with the rest of what you said.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:06 PM

Yes. Each woman has a threshold that a potential long term partner must reach before he is attractive to her once she gets the baby rabies. That’s why average earners are having children.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 08:04 PM

Um, no? Strippers can be good mothers, as long as they keep their children out of the club and they don’t do drugs
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:44 PM

For a minute I was wondering why the (non existent) back up camera on my riding mower wasn’t working. How spoiled I’ve become
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:43 PM

Yeah. I’m eagerly awaiting my nieces and nephews and grandchildren, but that’s hopefully many years away. I’ll talk to my therapist in the meantime.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:42 PM

Women want to raise their children in safe neighborhoods in appropriately sized and relatively private houses. They don’t want to have to worry about shootings or getting evicted because your roommate hasn’t paid his portion of the rent. We’re gonna get the ick if we’re having the baby rabies and a man is a total scrub
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:41 PM

I’m already sterilized, I’m afraid.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:38 PM

I already had one. Logically I don’t want any more and I shouldn’t have any more. But my hormones are giving me intrusive thoughts about being pregnant and having a sweet little newborn again
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:36 PM

Women should be educated on how testosterone and the male reproductive system works, too. Men should know in case they have daughters, or if their wife/gf needs them to go to the store to get period products, and also so that they have the correct amount of sympathy and understanding when the women and girls in their lives are menstruating.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:29 PM

When humans were evolving, the males that could best provide were those that could claim and protect the most desirable territory, and collect the most resources (mostly food.) In modern times, when we use money to purchase land, houses, and food, providing for families looks closer to having a good income and a decent house.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:25 PM

Indeed they do
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:20 PM

How many times do we have to tell you that a healthy BMI is between 18.5 and 25?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:17 PM

You can make kids that are biologically yours without having sex
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:16 PM

I’ve never denied it shrugs
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:15 PM

I think men should be educated on how periods and period products work, too. I’ve seen a lot of men on the internet who took the time to learn how to do their daughters hair, and their kids were delighted. I think that’s an attractive trait in men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 07:09 PM

Both. Most women want children before they’re too old to have enough energy to keep up with their kids, and to be able to become an empty nester and retire at a reasonable age. Pregnancy is also harder on the body the older women get, and the incidence of miscarriage and birth defects increase. At the same time, fertility begins to decline, and they start wanting babies more. I think it’s a hormonal thing. The body kind of just “knows” that it’s getting closer to the deadline to reproduce. Edite…

Women over 30 tend to have higher personality and socioeconomic standards for relationships, as the biological urge to have children kicks in and they’re looking for men who are worthy of fathering and capable of providing for children. A dude could have no house or car and a job that makes 50k a year, but if he’s handsome enough and he’s a good time, he can find a relationship with an early-20s woman with relative ease.

Things mothers can teach but fathers can’t, and vise versa?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 06:44 PM

Yes. They think if women just wait til marriage to have sex, they wouldn’t get pregnant unexpectedly. They think women they deem to be sluts should have to go through the misery that is pregnancy and childbirth, and sometimes unwanted parenthood, as a punishment for having premarital sex.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 06:30 PM

Many of them will insist that slutty women need to “take responsibility” for their actions… by producing a whole new person that they can’t care for, I guess
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 06:19 PM

Just curious, cuz I don’t know much about Judaism, but what makes it less kind to women than Christianity?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 06:12 PM

A tumor also has unique DNA, that’s why it becomes a tumor. It’s got a genetic defect that makes the tissue cancerous. In IVF, they try to make as many embryos as possible per egg harvest, because the process is intense, invasive, and expensive. They don’t attempt to implant every embryo each round of IVF because most women don’t want multiples, and the more embryos that take, the higher risk the pregnancy is. Storing embryos is also expensive, so most people don’t want to pay to keep them after…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 05:52 PM

What grants a fetus personhood, and not some other piece of tissue, such as tumor? Also what strikes me as inconsistent is that most anti-choice people are not rallying against IVF, in which lots of fetuses are created and thrown away.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 05:39 PM

There are definitely men out there who will impregnate women and convince (or coerce) women into having their kids in attempt to get them to stay with them. That is a legitimate fear that accompanies the push for an abortion ban.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 05:26 PM

Link?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 05:25 PM

What I don’t understand is why people don’t get that fetuses aren’t babies once fetal development is explained to them
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/23 05:15 PM

I don’t think it’s an insignificant percentage, even if it is a minority. Either way it’s a problem that ought to be addressed

Can you elaborate on which personality traits are predictive of abortion history? Lots of people are sluts without getting pregnant. They just use contraceptives responsibly.

I've seen guys that are easily 3x more valuable in every metric, than the girl they are dating. They are good-looking, athletic, high earners, loyal, etc. while the girl is chubby, old, full of tattoos, 3x abortions, and unloyal. Just piping up to LOL at the fact that your phrasing implies you can visually tell how many abortions a person has had. Even if that’s not what you meant… how do you know? Most women don’t go around talking about how many abortions they’ve had. Are you impregnating them…

No, if you want someone to take care of you, you can find women willing to do that on seeking arrangement. Just like there are sugar daddies, there are also sugar mommas. They are usually fat and old though
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 07:29 PM

What if she’s not seeing multiple people? I don’t know anyone who’s expecting a committed relationship from someone they’ve started dating who is still sleeping around. Personally I don’t think PND is really a thing, but it’s still a shitty thing pretend to want something more with a person than you actually do. I don’t think that’s gender specific, either.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 07:27 PM

Women like tall men. So what?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 07:20 PM

I don’t think you should have it then. You should look for women who want to take it at approximately the same pace as you do. They’ll have similar values. So what if you lose a few women by waiting? They’re not right for you anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 07:16 PM

Casual sex has no reciprocity, that's why it's casual. Right, and that’s why casual sex havers are immune from PND. I’m just curious what you think of the men who will come on here and say “If she’s had casual sex at all, I’m gonna PND her,” as someone said in yesterday’s daily chat.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 07:15 PM

Is having sex early on in the relationship something that you want to do?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 07:11 PM

Try seeking arrangement
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 07:10 PM

What do you mean?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 07:05 PM

What's wrong and using someone for sex is when for instance by the 3rd date you know you wont pursue a relationship but choose to mislead the person for sex. That’s stringing someone along and wasting their time only to break their heart, but is it really one person using the other for sex if the other person wants to have sex with you and feels comfortable enough to do so? Like, sex is pleasurable; that’s why people have it together
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 07:04 PM

My understanding of PND is that it’s something that the PNDer intends ahead of time, like if s/he knows that the other person wants a relationship and feigns a relationship (or the false promise of a relationship) with them specifically to get sex, and then doesn’t remain in the faux relationship after sex is no longer wanted from that person, or after the faking of the relationship becomes more effort than the sex is worth. So I’d say it depends on whether she “lead him on” with romantic intere…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 06:00 PM

Actually I would say the bar is pretty high. I had to go through a lot of sexual partners to find my husband. And that’s okay with me, cuz it all worked out.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 05:15 PM

I think we get upset when female characters have impractical attire for what their role in the game is. Like if you’re going into battle, there’s no reason for you to be half naked. That’s just sexualization of female characters for the male gaze. (Which I understand, of course; video game developers and artists needa get that $$$)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 04:52 PM

Yeah I dated men who thought like you and I passed on dating them. Good for you. Hopefully you found someone with compatible priorities and views about sex. I think that’s the most important thing here. He got mad and complained about me to anyone who would listen at work. That’s extremely bizarre behavior. I’ve never gotten mad at the few men who didn’t want to have sex upfront; I just told them it wasn’t going to work out and moved on. A guy like that is a liability and Im sorry- but no woman …
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 04:46 PM

Yeah, open to relationships is a good way to put it. It was intentionally vague, because I felt like it would have been a waste of time to commit to someone, only to find out we weren’t sexually compatible. I think of that as casual. It’s neat to me, to think about people’s priorities when they’re selecting a LT partner. I think about each standard/preference as like a lens or a filter that they look through, and the lenses block out people that they don’t want to date. And we all stack these le…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 04:32 PM

To me, there’s a difference between being sad that the commitment/relationship you’re expecting to happen doesn’t happen, and coming to regret the sex that you consensually had (and hopefully enjoyed), when you felt you were ready to have it. Like either he (if we’re assigning genders here) gave her enough commitment for her to feel comfortable, or she had somewhat casual sex, and the reason why she didn’t want to have casual sex is because…? She doesn’t want to be the type of girl who does that…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 04:24 PM

But they’re just having the sex that they wanted to have. I don’t see a reason to regret it afterwards just because a relationship didn’t form
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 03:58 PM

That’s an interesting perspective. For me, I didn’t know whether I wanted to date someone until I knew we were sexually compatible. I always had a “let’s see where this goes” attitude when approaching dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 03:57 PM

But if you’re the person who wants a relationship and is going to FUFS if the casual sex doesn’t result in an actual commitment… why wouldn’t you just wait to have sex until after the commitment is demonstrated? The only reason why you’d feel bad about fucking the person you wanted to fuck is because you don’t want to be “the type” who has casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 02:22 PM

I agree
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 02:18 PM

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 01:46 PM

No FUFSing allowed
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 01:46 PM

Or maybe I didn’t want to see them? Or maybe I did see them another couple times but the “relationship” didn’t work out? I mean, it’s a hypothetical
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 01:45 PM

His neck rolls swallow his lime-green collar when he lays down ☹️
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 01:57 AM

I don’t think you’re getting what I mean here. There’s a difference between a woman who has casual sex until she finds a man worthy of commitment, and a woman who stops having casual sex until she feels like she’s in a committed relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 01:25 AM

I keep losing my generic, potato-colored dog in my house because he likes to sit on similarly colored things
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 01:21 AM
2

Yeah, I see lots of people using that word, and I’m not sure what they’re envisioning. I wouldn’t want someone to be my concept of “obsessed” with me
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 01:19 AM

Yeah it just feels like a bunch of weird, pointless mind games
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 01:14 AM

There’s a few out there that never want anything but sex from men, certainly. I wasn’t thinking of a “reformed hoe,” as someone who gets into a committed relationship and stops sleeping around, with the way you said it. I was thinking you meant someone who wants to go from having casual sex to only having sex within relationships, which I don’t think is common. Like I said, I think women who are okay with casual sex typically remain okay with casual sex, and keep having it until they find an LTR…
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 01:11 AM

They’ll probably just think you didn’t like them that much and move on from it pretty much immediately. If the sex was good, they’ll be glad they had it, and if it was bad, they’ll be glad they’re not seeing you anymore. ETA: and that brings us back to my original question: how many women are really becoming “reformed hoes?” Why would a woman who’s okay with casual sex not just carry on having casual sex until she meets someone with whom she wants an exclusive relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 12:04 AM

Pumping and dumping isn’t a thing for women who are okay with casual sex. That’s a male revenge fantasy
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 12:01 AM

Is there really enough women who previously enjoyed casual sex suddenly holding out on men who are relationship material for men to be concerned about it? Or is this a thing they mostly made up to be mad about?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 11:58 PM
3

Well if he wants to spend money on other women but not me, that means he wants to invest in me less, and that he values me less, right? Unless he can come up with some other valid reason. But even then I’d be suspicious. If he couldn’t afford it anymore, it’s likely that he’s bad with money, and that’s a red flag. Also, I expect a certain income level for any partner of mine. (I don’t think not wanting have kinky sex anymore is the exact equivalent, btw, if that’s what you’re getting at.)
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 11:33 PM
3

I would probably try to figure out why they were free/cheap dates if they continued happening. If it were just that he didn’t want to spend money on me, specifically, or that he ran out of money, that’d be the end of things. But if he didn’t want to spend money on women while he was getting to know them anymore, and he plans on treating me to more extravagant dates in the future, that’s an acceptable reason. Plus picnics are nice. Cheap dates can be nice.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 11:25 PM

The article doesn’t mention testing men’s testosterone level before and after they hold baby dolls, though, which is the only way you could ascertain a causal relationship between those two things. It only mentions collecting data on how much time men spent with their families and comparing their T levels to single men’s.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 10:29 PM

Wanting only sons or daughters too much is a big red flag
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 10:23 PM

Based
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 10:20 PM

I find myself wanting it 4-5 times a week. The nights I don’t want it, I’m usually stressed or too tired…I used to want it more than once per day, back in the olden days 👵 Maybe around half the time that I want sex, I want to go down on my husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 10:17 PM

Idk how this article jumped from “more time with your family is correlated to lower T” to “holding a baby doll makes your T levels drop!” I would sooner hypothesize that babies are stressful and having them makes people more stressed, which decreases testosterone. Surely bench pressing hundreds of pounds is more aggravating to a tendon injury than holding a 26lb child, though.

I’ve been trying to get my husband to go to the doctor for an injury for like 5 months now. He just keeps lifting and making it worse :/ Dunno if that’s a statistically supported phenomenon, but married men do tend to live longer than unmarried men, so that’s what I’m choosing to believe is the reason
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 09:11 PM

Not quite the same thing, but I was just thinking the other day that it must be so bizarre to watch your children grow visibly old
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 09:03 PM

You trade: living longer For: a tendency for increased risk taking and refusal to go to the doctor until your wife nags you to death
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 09:00 PM

You trade: ease of seduction For: greater physical strength, the ability to pee standing up, and not having to experience menstruation and pregnancy

/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 07:43 PM

Female conscription makes less sense because they’re not only less physically capable than men, but they also get pregnant (not good if you’re a soldier) and are supposed to be the ones who breastfeed the babies.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 07:42 PM

Can we add “Not believing male rape victims/victims of domestic violence, men’s mental health not being taken as seriously, emotional suppression, male biphobia, toxic masculinity, and estrangement from their kids in the case of separation/divorce” to the “misandry” list?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 07:40 PM

Hurr durr I’m a man and I can have low standards and complain about women’s if I want to!
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 06:54 PM

I’m already married; it doesn’t matter to me whether other women have a harder time getting HVM if men were to collectively raise their standards. I hope that I raised my own husband’s standards; the last bitch he was married to treated him like garbage. useless ran through bimbos Show this to any woman you’re trying to lock down and watch her run away faster than Usain Bolt. Men don’t need that They don’t need it, but they should WANT it for themselves. You shouldn’t settle for the first 5 that…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 06:38 PM

I don’t agree with you about hardly anything, idt
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 06:27 PM

If men had equal standards none of these fat whales would be married. That’s what I’m trying to tell you. Men’s standards are in the toilet and then they’re mad about women’s being too high instead. I think women should appreciate the small things men actually put value on. It’s so easy to get men because they don’t have ridiculous high standards lol I very much appreciate how easy men are. I’m not shaming them for it. I’m trying to help the backwards weirdos on here help themselves to find bett…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 06:25 PM

The reality is that men can (and occasionally do) set the same bar for themselves as women do, and as long as they’re willing to hold out long enough, their standards get met. It’s just that instead of doing that, men want to sit around and complain about women’s standards being too high, instead of realizing their own are just too low.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 06:15 PM

Yeah, I guess. It just strikes me as odd when I really think about

Shayne Dawson has entered the chat
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 05:52 PM

It’s so interesting that it’s possible to entirely agree with someone about some aspect of PPD related topics, and think them completely idiotic for their views on other aspects.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 05:45 PM

Do you, king! 👑👑
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 05:11 PM

No dear, I’m married. I’m curious because you sound like a teenager
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 01:05 AM

How old are you?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/23 01:02 AM

One can be nice without being a pussy
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 07:14 PM

I don’t think “nice” is synonymous with “doormat”
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 07:06 PM

So then it’s a chicken-or-the-egg issue, if lawyers also feel that men won’t win and therefore won’t take cases, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 06:45 PM

It’s a possible reason, not an excuse
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 06:43 PM

Niceness is only boring if you’re not nice yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 06:28 PM

I think that’s correct
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 06:25 PM

By nice, I mean kind, considerate, thoughtful, polite, generous, helpful, relatively easy-going, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 06:10 PM

Perhaps there really is a phenomenon where women reject genuinely nice men, because they (the women) feel like they’re significantly less nice deep down, and that it’d be hard to be their authentic themselves and keep the nice partner around ?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 05:57 PM

Have you considered that being apathetic to n count isn’t having “low standards” but is instead having “different priorities?”
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 05:39 PM

AINT NOTHING BUT A HEARTACHE tell me why AINT NOTHING BUT A MISTAKE tell me WHY
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 05:24 PM

It makes sense as a concept. Idk how much of a thing it is in practicality though.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 05:19 PM

Indeed
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 05:13 PM

Key word there is ‘potential.’ People’s n counts are high or low for different reasons, good and bad. It’s less of a gamble if you actually evaluate people for who they are and what they value than only taking into account the number of people with whom they’ve had sex. It's not crazy to believe that a woman that has had sex with 300 Men by 25 is probably gonna have a different approach to sex and relationships than a Man that has had sex with 3 Women by 25 Yes. But that’s a matter of values, no…

I have a pretty and flowy dress on for Mother’s Day and I feel so feminine and happy :))
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 05:03 PM

Hunger is a physical sensation that is influenced by biological processes. How much each person eats, however, is often socially influenced— think about thanksgiving, celebrations, going out to eat with friends, or simply passing by advertising for your favorite foods/restaurants. I know that personally, every time I drive past a particular restaurant, I want to eat there, but it’s not because I’m hungry or even that the food is good, it’s just that I have fond memories of spending time with my …

Except for the fact that you don’t know a woman’s sexual history unless you ask her AND she tells you the truth, so there’s nothing that would assure men with low n count preferences are really furthering their lineage more than men without low n count preference. Also, again, the fact that men’s n count preferences vary from virginity to infinity.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 04:25 PM

There is a difference between internal insecurity and external insecurity. For example, the preference for tall men would stem from an external insecurity, such as needing physical protection from a partner. The “preference” for women without a, or with a arbitrarily minimum amount of, sexual history is often a result of internal insecurity, such as men fearing that they’re not going to sexually satisfy a partner with more experience, or that they’re not able to hold such a partner’s interest in…

These two things are not equivalent
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 02:38 PM

Cultures can form and influence their members to have the n count ick independently of one another; that doesn’t make the ick not a result of social conditioning. Picking a low n partner does not assure paternity. Women can be pregnant before they enter into relationships, or they can cheat. Low n counts do also not assure you that your partner will not cheat. There is no evolutionary or biological basis for this. It is instilled in men after they are born, mostly by the people around them, and …
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 02:37 PM

Why does fertilization make a difference?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 02:10 PM

Then a sperm or an egg is a child too, and menstruation/masturbation is “murder.”
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 02:07 PM

There are way more reasons for not carrying an unwanted pregnancy to term than just not having the proper resources to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 02:04 PM

An early fetus is not a child Edit: and there is no reason to evoke the imagery of hacking a whole child to pieces when abortion can look like a normal period in which you can’t even distinguish the fetus amongst blood, normal sized clots, and endometrial tissue. It is estimated that up to half of all pregnancies are aborted (miscarried) before the pregnant person even realizes they were pregnant.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 02:03 PM

No. Both my husband and I put in effort to make the other happy, and to communicate as effectively as possible. It’s not this constant war or trying to “make it work” though. I think what makes a relationship bad is that the effort is one-sided.

Just checking. She’s still losing out on his lifetime’s worth of 350k income by divorcing him. And his half of the assets that he kept
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 01:52 PM

Did they go to court?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 01:50 PM

I have a mutually co-dependent kind of relationship and it’s not fun. We are both in therapy to fix our issues.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 01:50 PM

92% of the time when fathers fight for custody in court, at least joint custody is granted
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 01:45 PM

Let me give you an example. I have virtually no assets. My name isn’t on our mortgage, and my husband bought and technically owns both of our cars. My husband works and provides everything our family needs. I benefit from his income and assets while we’re married. If we were to divorce (God forbid), I’d get maybe a few years of alimony, and then nothing. I can’t afford my car payment, nor the insurance required to drive it, so I wouldn’t get the car. Even if we had bought our house after tying t…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 01:41 PM

By growing, I don’t mean just aging. I mean resolving the deeper issues that underlie the ick. That’s growth, and I think you’d be happier and find a partner more easily.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 01:35 PM

Whoop, there it is
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 01:31 PM

Don’t feel bad; you’re young still.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 12:35 PM

No, both spouses effectually lose half of the assets they co-owned and both benefitted from during the marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 12:34 PM

Think about this logically. The thing you linked said couples can submit child support plans to the court. Even if it gets disapproved, there’s nothing stopping the couple from just following their own CS plan anyway; the only way the court would find out is if one person complained. They’re not like, monitoring your bank statements. And realistically, if you have 50/50 custody, most courts are not going to make you pay CS. It’s really not that much different than they way it was when you were m…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 12:17 PM

Again, big disagree with the “instinctual” thing. There is major variation in what each man finds to be an acceptable n count, ranging from virginity to infinity. That alone is enough evidence to support that n count “preferences” are socially conditioned, or at the very least, an aspect of “nurture,” not “nature.” Religion, for example, is a big source of the n count ick, and have also existed “throughout civilizations and cultures.”
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:56 AM

All that says is that you’re not off the hook for financially supporting your children if you get a divorce.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:51 AM

Big disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:34 AM

It depends what the problem is. A lot of times people with the “n count ick” grow out of it, as they resolve their own deeper issues. Then they get to enjoy larger dating pools.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:28 AM

I think there’s always a reason, just that sometimes people are uncomfortable with introspecting and confronting that reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:23 AM

Nawalt, with the jealousy.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:21 AM

Damn, both of you know what you want to eat? I’m jealous. Normally neither my husband nor I know what we want, so we play hot potato with whose “turn” it is to choose
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:19 AM

You don’t gain assets from divorce; you lose half of them
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:17 AM

Why do you think you’re repulsed by n count?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/23 11:14 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 04:56 PM

Not a male, but the first time I got pregnant, my husband and I argued ferociously about whether or not we would circumcise the baby if it was a boy. Oddly enough, my husband wanted it done, and I was absolutely against it. He wanted his hypothetical son to fit in with “the norm,” and have an anatomy that was pleasing to most women here in the US, and also brought up hygiene-related qualms (him: “I don’t know how to wash an uncircumcised baby penis because I don’t have one.” Me: “I don’t have a …

A sense of lifelong commitment and legal benefits, like shared health insurance, power of attorney (medical situations), inheritance, tax benefits, etc. Also people take your relationship more seriously if you have a spouse instead of a boyfriend/girlfriend
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:57 PM

That’s a good point
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:54 PM

I don’t know what you mean. You shouldn’t be with people who are not compatible with you in the long term, regardless of how sad it makes you to part ways with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 03:53 PM

Yes. I did that several times before I found a man that met my standards and could love me back the way I needed to be. There is a state of having love for someone before you fall in love with them, and I think some people are capable of straddling the edge.

/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 01:35 PM

There’s a difference between sexual submission and submission in general. You can still be the leader of your marriage without being entitled to her body.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 01:32 PM

“Your bossom is flat, like a midwestern horizon, and it possesses all the quiet beauty of a awe-inspiring sunrise.”
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 01:23 PM

In civilized parts of the world, legally, no. Personally I feel that married couples should do their best to satisfy each others’ sexual needs and desires, and matching with someone with a similar libido is very important. (But also sometimes it changes, so married people should be prepared for that as well.)

Yes
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 12:53 PM

Men with self-respect don’t pick and stay with women who have such addictions. But not every man has self-respect.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 12:52 PM

You are not a “big boy” in terms of experience. In that regards, you’re more like a teenager. It’s very easy in your first real relationship to idealize your partner and to assume that it’s true love. And it could very well be— I just urge you to proceed with caution, is all. Living with someone and dating them for a long time to determine compatibility for marriage is one thing. “Accidentally” impregnating them is another.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/23 12:38 PM

Please remember that this is the infatuation stage and don’t make any rash, lifelong decisions
