| 2 | A Unified Theory of the Human ConditionWhat a shame that the underpinning of the idea is in a thoroughly useless psychological framework with little predictive validity. Maslows hierarchy is taught only in first year psych and even then as part of the history of psychology, and I've not seen a mainstream psych paper on it for over 10 years. | /r/TheRedPill | 24/10/15 03:06 AM |
| 1 | Unpolitically Correct College PsychologyCool. And what you'll see at the end of the TLDR is that the person separates out psychology from gender studies ;) The OPs post was about psychology and you tied in gender studies/social science. That was my issue. | /r/TheRedPill | 22/10/15 11:22 AM |
| 1 | Ok seriously, how many of you guys actually live this stuffI don't get most of the stuff posted here. I'm a firm believer in AF/BB but so much of the rest is misogynistic drivel. When I post here, I get told that I'm a beta because I have an open relationship; apparently I'm a BB getting taken for a ride. There is no conceptualisation that a man could run the same strategy in his life: that I can identify a primary partner who is a good BB-equivalent (and not care if she sleeps around, like. the pregnancy risk is in fact zero), while maintaining a soft-… | /r/TheRedPill | 22/10/15 11:11 AM |
| 1 | Unpolitically Correct College PsychologyAnd that shows how little about the breadth of psychological research you understand. Most psychology research is on non clinical topics, most of it doesn't deal with feelings. | /r/TheRedPill | 20/10/15 08:42 PM |
| -6 | Unpolitically Correct College PsychologyI'm sick of my profession being likened to the qualitative elements of the social sciences on TRP. I'm sick of (not you in this case) post-hoc evolutionary psychology being lauded as the valid part. Where is this documentary in the sidebar, I've missed it. | /r/TheRedPill | 20/10/15 10:12 AM |
| -11 | Unpolitically Correct College PsychologyOh fuck off. Contemporary psychology is much more a science than a social science. We have the same fraud rates as hard sciences like molecular biology and medicine, we randomise better than biology. There's some shitty parts of psychological research but it shares little with the social sciences beyond using more variable human responses. | /r/TheRedPill | 20/10/15 08:47 AM |
| 1 | What kind of girls do you typically attract based on how you look?Still serves as a valid upper limit | /r/askTRP | 16/10/15 01:53 AM |
| 1 | What kind of girls do you typically attract based on how you look? This fits as an outcome of TRP theory/strategy. Can't blame someone for wanting to know the possible pay-off. Australia; white; thin, fit, perfectly fitted casual dress; more educated women, I think I attract more broadly than this but I don't even notice them. | /r/askTRP | 15/10/15 08:58 PM |
