This. Arizona is good for asthma and lungs, my aunt bought a condo there specifically for that. Seattle is not going to be good for the child’s asthma. I’d file a TRO asap to stop her from moving and request a doctor note indicating he must be moved elsewhere for his health. Don’t let her go, if you do, you will be starting off your divorce case with a point against you. Take action now.

I’ve been divorced for almost 10 years. We didn’t have kids together after being married 12 years (together 15). I just recently threw the things in my home away: wedding album, cards, etc. )I didn’t realize I had them, came across them cleaning my basement out). I pawned my ring like 1.5 years after the divorce. Gave my dress away for free on Facebook. My parents do have a box of our wedding items at their house that I brought over during our divorce, it has more pics and another album. I have …

Well, if you would educate yourself and see my comments on other posts, you’d see I am doing research in hopes to help men during divorce with resources, coaching, etc for free. My husband is currently in a custody battle with a horrible women and we have two amazing female shark attorneys battling it out for him. I’m learning and trying it to decide if I’d like to team up with them at their law firm or how I can help MEN before, during, & after divorce. So if my online presence is offensive in …

Hi! Men can also post in the women’s divorce Reddit, and regular divorce Reddit. Just you know. Thanks for being kind!

My husband left his ex wife post hysterectomy cause it was the only time she couldn’t go nuts on him, chase him down, and assault him. What’s funnier is that her first ex husband left her the same way (post surgery). My husband understood why after a while. Sometimes leaving during post op is the best lol.

Sadly, you are correct. And this is why I’m on men’s side. I’m by no means a Trad Wife, but I’m also not a feminist. Marriages are about being equal, and it should be that way before, during, and (sadly) divorce.

I am here because my husband has a horrible ex wife. I found this thread researching GALs and fathers receiving full custody as my husband filed for full custody and have been researching threads and situations others have been in, what to ask our attorney, GAL, expectations, etc during the process. His daughter has been asking to be with us all but EOW for about two years, but we didn’t have much other than kiddos ask (and that isn’t enough). Well, BM got a DWI during her custody time. Didn’t t…

As a divorced woman who’s remarried, here’s my honest advice. I was married 12 years, together 14. My husband now and I have been together just over 10 years, married 1.5. And honestly, staying together awhile before marrying is one of the smartest things you can do. You can be fully committed without sprinting into legal paperwork. Time shows you things love tries to hide. I’m pro‑men in marriage and divorce. I was so kind to my ex during our divorce that my friends thought I needed a CT scan. …

Your wife acting so horribly about this makes me think she’s cheated on you before and she’s projecting her behavior to your sister and getting your daughter involved to make her feel better about it all… that’s just my opinion. With that said. What will make it smooth as possible? Hiring an attorney who is an absolute shark and gives no fucks. Good luck!

Those two years… I tried. I lived like his wife. Tried to get things to pick up here and there. Continuously suggested counseling. I couldn’t just leave. We had bills and a home. While we both worked, he had us living paycheck to paycheck in a lifestyle I didn’t like. There was no extra money to leave without the main home u. And I wasn’t going to leave it all on him- tho I should have since he was the reason for it. But I wasn’t a bitch at all. I said sell house, split 50/50. We each keep our 4…

I was a checked out wife. I spoke up. I asked for marriage counseling. I asked him to stop the lifestyle he was forcing us to live. I tried to fix us over and over again. Instead, I fixed me. As I fixed me, I checked out. As I checked out, he didn’t notice. Which hurt at first. But then I realized he was so self absorbed that it only proved my point. When I finally said I was moving out and wanted a divorce, it was only then he wanted to do counseling, fix the lifestyle, fix this or that… not th…

As a woman, I view this as a personal and political issue. Decisions about reproductive autonomy should rest solely with the individual whose body is affected. By that same standard, his bodily autonomy should be respected as well. If concerns about future children are the primary issue, his wife has her own range of reproductive options available to her, including birth control or sterilization, should she choose them.

Shared custody doesn’t equal no child support in some states. My husband has 50/50 physical and legal and pays $700 a month for one child in Missouri. He only made $40k more than her. But now she’s getting remarried, like the commenter-has a huge home, new man’s income, her income and some of my husbands.

I mean, that’s exactly her thinking. She’s 🦇 💩 🤪 She was cheating on him, so it was her way to prove he was cheating on her, by smelling it. ☠️

I asked my husband how his ex wife took him filing, he said she immediately asked to smell his dick and started to rage around the house throwing things and screaming… only proof as to why he left her - she was the narcissist cheating, not him. As a female, I give kudos to men who have the courage to leave. I’m all about girl power, but women are bitches. 🤣 I sympathize for men way more than I do a woman.

My husband let his ex buy him out at what they owed and she still lost it to foreclosure a few years later because she couldn’t afford it. 😂 In my divorce, we sold it and split the profit. I didn’t want to live in a home I shared with my ex husband. I say sell it and live peacefully in a mobile home on land and retire early. Good luck!

Def put yourself first. What stinks for me is about three years before divorce I asked for marriage counseling, he said no. I had people asking me if I was ok. My mom asking “who are you, you’re not my little girl anymore - what’s wrong?” My brother calling me to check in… so I gave up. About two years out I started to put myself first, focus on me, do what I wanted, etc. my husband didn’t even notice. Or seem to care. So while I was feeling better about myself, I was also struggling that he see…

Our attorney won’t fight for anything she doesn’t think she will win. So, she has a good feeling. lol. We went to her last year around this time when kiddo asked (unprompted) when she could talk to a judge about where she wants to live. We have tons of “evidence” and things kiddo has said, but when we brought it to the atty she said there’s not a chance, we need more. Atty said keep collecting evidence and when kiddo is 13, let’s chat. Well, we did keep collecting, kiddo is 13 and mom got a DWI …

We are working on a motion to modify custody right now due to bio mom getting a DWI during her custody time. Alcohol has been a factor since they divorced in 2018, but he never had proof. Now he does and now kiddo is a teen and ready to tell the GAL about her mom’s alcoholism. Hoping to God it works out well, especially hitting her with soberlink.

I met my ex husband at 22, married at 25, divorced at 36. I was young, didn’t know myself, settled because society said I had to. As I matured, I realized what he wanted and what I wanted wasn’t the same thing anymore. He was controlling and liked keeping up a persona to the outside world that I didn’t care about (causing us to live paycheck to paycheck because “gotta have nice things”) Met my now husband at 36, together 6.5 years and got married (tho we both said we’d never get married again lo…

Oh goodness… so I am the wife of a man going through a high conflict custody case now and ran across this thread, ran into this post. My heart breaks for you. As a a bonus mom for eight years to a 13yr old girl, teens are tough. I couldn’t have my own children, and we only have my one SD. That said… this sounds like parental alienation on BMs behalf. I do think that instead of being quiet to ensure you aren’t saying negative things about BM that you should ask questions back… what makes you say …

I’m so glad I found this thread tonight. This comment literally made me tear up. it validates me feeling the same way and how extreme feminists are so quick to dismiss any idea that our l female ancestors could have actually been happy to do things for her husband. I’d def call myself a feminist on some issues, but constant make bashing is not one of them.

Just coming across this thread. Just watched it with my husband. Who has experienced a past like Johnny with Amber. Watching him wince and seeing him physically uncomfortable watching the three episodes was hard. I asked if he wanted to stop. He said no. At the end of the second episode he said “yeah, people wonder why I slept in a separate locked bedroom from her for months with a gun for my safety, and moved out without any warning while she was gone. She was an Amber. And women like Amber kno…
