I agree with a lot of it here, however if a woman is ugly then its a big no go. Men would always date a woman they would find attractive. Personally if I dated a woman who I found ugly I would not date her. Women are more forgiving to men if they don't look good enough because at the end it's about where you are positioned in the social hierarchy which equates to your social skills.
