I can see how they might be different. To me, "medical obstacle" would mean ED or low T, or something physical like that. Depression is much more mental, and although they make anti-depressants, all those do is make you feel better. They don't address the root cause of the depression. Only therapy can do that.

Somehow, I doubt that would have happened. I'm an EMT and the first time I saw the picture, even I was taken aback. That's a pretty gruesome injury, and I would think that most people would be in shock if witnessing it live. Edit: I imagine the bench heard the leg break and saw it up close - Yeah, that would be really tough to react to.

I don't know what /r/Christianity you're in, but the one I'm in is very accepting, open, and there is a lot of healthy debate and discussion. In fact, there are a number of self-proclaimed and self-identified atheists on there, who regularly post ideas contrary to Christianity. As long as you're not downright disrespectful and obnoxious, you won't get banned.

I'm sorry if I inferred that all trans women were like that... Given what is shown in the article (From colleen's blog posts, etc) Colleen has a whole slew of abnormal preferences and tendencies. Not unless they have a penis... Regardless of whether or not it works. Point being, these girls THOUGHT Colleen was a man. And the pictures of him/her certainly follows that train of logic. The first picture they show is of what appears to be a middle-aged man with glasses and thin, receding hair. The best solution would probably be to make everything unisex and then just have private stalls within each room. I wouldn't say that's the best solution at all. You could keep them segregated and put the private stalls in anyway. I would say that for the 98% of the population (That's the last figure I heard) gender segregating is perfectly fine.

I wish this was higher up. Virginity was very highly valued in Biblical times. It was considered to be honourable to be a virgin at marriage (for both men and women) Anything else was completely shameful. The Biblical definition of rape is far different from what it is today. Same concept - Taking something (or now, someone) that is not legally bound to you for your own pleasure.

I got called a misogynist the other day for wanting to work and support a family on my own, saying that my future wife shouldn't feel like she has to work, especially if she wants kids, and that I would prefer that she raise them than daycare. Not technically legally... although if it's a female on male it's innocent until completely impossible to prove it, and for male on female, it's guilty no matter what, even if the charges are dropped.
