We wish, that would be better than a long war imo. The nukes will be last resort, when everyone is dead. Even then, I doubt they would use nukes, they would just surrender and find a compromise, the way they did in WW1. Maybe it will end with nukes, but I doubt it starts with it.

it's actually "between 40% and 45% after 9 to 14 years" according to the NHS. So i'd say most arn't reversible after a few years (even then it's a gamble really). Women tying their tubes is reversible too, but we still don't encourage that the same way people encourage vasectomy.
