I know what you mean though, if it were up to a lot of these guys we'd just be going to a different building every Sunday morning and talking about the God we don't believe in. I'll say this for Hitchens, he actually convinced me to leave religion. I consider myself a hardcore, unapologetic capitalist, but one of the things I absolutely love more than anything else about TRP is that it's not a mindless echo chamber like virtually every other major group. I'm also an atheist, but it strikes me as odd that many atheists I know of have traded one dogma for another, one set of leaders for another.
