If FEMINISTS are making the claim of "Feminism is for Equality" or "Feminism is for Men too" Then should I not expect Feminists to lobby for men's issues too? No, read what you wrote until you understand it, its clear you dont.

Then surely it would have been a simple matter for those feminists to include men in not having their genitals mutilated without their consent right? No you have no clue how hard it is to get something like that going. Again men are quite different in this regard and including them would mean years maybe even decades of lobying and changing the culture to make a ban possible. Your other example is the same, you are askinbg men to set aside the issues women face to foxcus on men. fss the US is go…

yes so?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/04/26 04:17 PM

Yeah thats not really the case, men employ sexual aggression as a tool to dominate women sexual violence is not only about sexual desire but also about power, entitlement, control,... and of course the maintenance of gender hierarchy . Thats a more accurate statement, and its correct btw. Female genital mutilation is a prime example of that. Your statement is the typical taking something that has a slight ring of truth and twisting it to serve your purpose

I have plenty of reason to suspect that its a significant contributing factor, however. how?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/04/26 01:51 PM

Because it has shifted on both ends, again its a complex issue that you try to reduce to "feminism" because you dislike feminism not because there is actually any reason to believe its that.

Yes and I already explained what total BS that is, women dont have equal rights now, so equal rights for woman would mean same rights for everyone including women. just repeating this as you dont actually adress this you just repeat the same nonsense
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/04/26 09:53 AM

You did say "equal rights for women", which implies they aren't for everyone. That's what got our conversation started. Yes and I already explained what total BS that is, women dont have equal rights now, so equal rights for woman would mean same rights for everyone including women. I'm trying to figure it out, but everyone I ask responds with nonsense like "equal rights for women" I am asking your opnion on them they stand for something completely different from "equal rights for everyone" that…

"equal rights but not for everyone" never said that more trolling, next time you are blocked. I do, they stand for something completely different from "equal rights for everyone" do tell what they satnd for

Yes on both, again tocix masculinity has rissen
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates26/04/26 08:01 AM

both are the same: its negative traits that a society has over gender. Your question makes no sense.

Yeah you are just trolling now, no clue why. Probably to justifiy still blatent and open hate against women . Anyway its clear you dont have a clue what feminism is or what they stand for .

Why would specifically "being a man" Toxic masculinity is not "being a man" and is not limited to men its sociatal.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/04/26 10:09 PM
-3

That is what you're saying by saying "it's not feminism, it's toxic masculinity," making them out to be mutually exclusive. That in no way does feminism overlap. Again never said that, for that trend I would suggest you look more at toxic masculinity as that does have a direct influence on that, feminism doesnt. You might as well blame climate change. Side note, do you really believe that toxic masculinity can explain men dropping to the same level women had 30 years ago, while women specificall…

It doesnt equal rights isnt that hard, dont treat people different based on gender. It should be really easy but somehow it isnt.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/04/26 04:00 PM

And I already debunked that, instead of answering you turned to trolling. Again : you do realize that "equal rights for women" is being said because women currently do not have those and they want to move to a situation where they do have those? SO yes feminism is about equal rights and not about privilige.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/04/26 02:17 PM
-2

No, never said that. You brought up a societal issue and blamed feminism for it, I remarked that the more likjely cause is something else, not feminism.

I do, you dont it seems.

"equal rights for women" is nonsense, LOL you do realize that "equal rights for women" is being said because women currently do not have those and they want to move to a situation where they do have those?

do you understand that "equal rights" and "previligied treatment" arent the same?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/04/26 12:25 PM

sure you tell yourself that
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/04/26 12:24 PM

So you dont know feminism nor fascism. No surprise there
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/04/26 10:17 AM

They are for everyone most feminists dont advocate for previligied treatment for woman.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/04/26 10:16 AM

Its not me calling every feminist a man hater becasue you read something online. Stop being so easily brainwashed.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/04/26 09:36 AM

and again that has more to do with toxic masculinity and has zero to do with feminism.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/04/26 08:41 AM
-5

No, toxic femininity is about traits women themselves have that are negative for them trad wife submissiveness for example. Women are not always seen as the victims of sex btw, no clue where you get that. What is evena "victim of sex"?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates25/04/26 08:40 AM

Not if you talk about a group in the hundreds of millions , I wonder what hating on feminists has to do with advocating for males?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/04/26 10:46 PM
-8

the core of feminism is equal rights and opportunity for women. Even that you get wrong.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/04/26 10:45 PM
-9

aka you spent time online and now want to pretend thats real. Its not, half of reddit is fake nonsense. The worst part is you dont even realize that.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/04/26 10:29 PM

you cant because thats not reality
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/04/26 10:28 PM

sure
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/04/26 10:28 PM
-5

its IS how most feminists act. You just want to believe that, no clue why never got this hating of broad civil right groups. So you cherry pick and frequent subs where this nonsense is peddled.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/04/26 10:26 PM
-13

correlation is not causation And this has little to do with hate and more not being able to see male rape victims as rape victims. This is more related to toxic masculinity where men are seen as always ready for sex so how can it be rape?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/04/26 04:50 PM
-16

Online for sure there are so much idiots, in real life this isnt the case.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/04/26 04:17 PM

Yeah thats BS, most feminist dont hate men. If you talked to women and feminists you would, actually realize that.

I see that you're from Europe, so maybe it's different in your country. But in the USA, many states have or have had mandatory arrest laws that exclusively target men. When I look, this up, this is gender neutral laws targetting the agressor or the person that is most agressive this is more often then not the man but not always, so no your claim that it always men and every man knows somehow he cant lift a finger without being aressted is nonsense. The rest is juist anekdotal not supported by ac…

The taboo against actually using that strength in any interaction with a woman is so strong that every man expects that the moment they do, they're going to be the one in trouble, no matter what the woman was doing. I get the argument you are trying to make but with comments like these (thats is utterly made up nonsense) you really undermine that.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates23/04/26 03:45 PM

I have little doubt women also do this, but it might be they just do this a little bit less then men.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates23/04/26 03:31 PM

sexual coercion in a relation and violence in a relation are different things you cant just compare these 2. Violence in itself is not based on strenght, you dont need to be stronger to slap or hit someone, you do need to be stronger to basicly force them to have sex .
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates23/04/26 02:52 PM

“the act of using pressure, alcohol or drugs, or force to have sexual contact with someone against his or her will.” Men are stronger then woman, seems only logic that when its men vs women a large part of the difference is explained by this. It also explained why non heterosexual women have almost the same rate as men.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates23/04/26 02:10 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
