I wonder how that data would look if we differentiated “older single men” into redpill/blue pill. IOW, if you’re an older single man still trying to find your “soulmate”, you might be disappointed. If you are enjoying the fruits of a life well lived and dating 3 attractive 40 year old women, you might feel differently.

I’m in my mid 40’s and divorced, and not “extremely good looking” and I disagree with you. At my age, guys who have a reasonable amount of social and economic status, a decent job, and take care of themselves (eat healthy and hit the gym) can slay. Add some awareness of RP ideas, lessons learned from prior relationships, and having the balls to actually approach women, and you should be doing very well. Even without being “extremely good looking”.

In that way, it’s kind of a throwback to an earlier time. In the distant past, being and looking fit meant you had a better chance of surviving, and protecting and providing for your family. Which fundamentally is why women are attracted to fit men.

I’m not disagreeing with most of what you said here. Nor am I arguing that the social distancing and quarantines that we’ve done are wrong. As a man, I don’t think I’m capable of “unconditional love” for anyone other than my children. I used to think, before my divorce and finding TRP, that I was. And I think I’m better off this way. Here's my advice...you can still do most lower body stuff. Leg curls, leg extensions, calf raises, leg press, etc., should all be ok. Traditional squats are going to be rough if you can't use that arm to hold the bar, but there's plenty of machines (hack squat, etc) that have a similar motion. Better than nothing. …
