I know it isn't initially, but can it be applied? If not, why do we use it? And does Kyfho's analogy that it can be broken down even further break down?

It's not only in the case of rape. In EVERY case, in modern Western law, the burden of proof lies with the accuser, NOT the defendant. This new law putting the burden of proof on the defendant is a massive breach; its implications go far - all in the name of feels. Let's look at another horrendous crime: murder. We all hate murder and want less of it (at least, I hope so). However, the burden of proof still shouldn't, and doesn't, lie with the person accused of the murder. Agreeing with this doe…

Can you break it down even further? Do 0.8% of men bang 51.2% of women?

I'm really curious: how did she assault you?

Look at it this way: What's the reason for having anyone's number? To contact them. Why would she want this guy to contact her? Most likely sex, least likely just seeing him on a casual basis. Are you okay with any of those? If not, then you're not okay with her giving out her number.

Wouldn't asking for consent to approach actually make it easier to pick up girls? You'd have to ask a simple question by law, and could spare yourself the time/bullshit in trying to get her. /s

What I don't want to bring her to my place?

Let's look at actor Tom Hardy. The goofy smile, or the aloof seriousness?

Can't you sue her? I know people got punished for intentionally spreading HIV; clearly herpes isn't nearly as bad, but there is precedent.

Aren't the people who were young in the 60s the "establishment" now?

Not really, idk screams of disinterest. Just let her go.

Yeah, it's mostly anxiety. I don't have anxiety around girls as such, but I do find the concept of meeting up with some random girl off tinder out of the blue rather nerve-racking. Essentially, should I just quit tinder, work on improving myself and meet girls in the "normal" ways (bar, work, social situations, etc.)? Or should I go for the tinder girls, even though I'm anxious about it?

I realize that "wank and read" gave off a bit of a neckbeardy vibe. I do stuff with my life, have an active social life, learn new things, etc. I started lifting and actively improving my life. But, so far, this hasn't lead to much success with girls. I could ask out some of my tinder matches, but then I get nervous/anxious about taking the plunge and I don't really feel like meeting a girl I've just met on the internet. Should I just keep lifting/improving, see where it leads me? Or force mysel…

My lungs don't look like charcoal, because I have never smoked in my life. My post clearly completely went over your head.

But my question is regarding the "watching". Just standing around doing nothing is a bit weird - smoking a cig gives you an excuse to do just that. However, I don't want to smoke - what's a good alternative to smoking?

I already wrote in the OP that I'm not going to smoke, ever. However, what can be a replacement object/action I can do to seem aloof, or can just observe the situation without being a beta orbiter. If I just sit on a chair by myself in the corner, it might look weird. Sitting in a chair and smoking a cig, looks cool - he is sitting there minding his own business and smoking. But, I don't want to smoke because of health reasons, and I will not take up smoking. Hence my question - what is a differ…
