It’s not the same because the problems are different. It would be like if no black peoples in your country were homeless, but maybe many of them were in abusive relationships. I wouldnt be mad at GI for not helping with the abusive relationships because that’s not their purpose, but it’s likely that GI and the help the black peoples in abusive relationships movements would be allies since they both have the goal of helping people hurt by racial inequalities.

MSU has been punishing/suspending students for sexual assault crimes without a trial, so basically just based on the accuser’s word. Now there is a class-action lawsuit against them. A class-action lawsuit is a large group of people suing a defendant for the same crime, so if they win, MSU will have to get rid of all the unfair punishments they’ve given out in this way, not just one student who sued them.
