I honestly think this is the new idealogical colonialism. They've created an impossible moral standard for people to conform to that is based in their PC nazi imagination and not in reality. If you fail to accept this narrative 100% and hand over your own skepticism (slavery) you are publicly shamed and abused. All the while, "you'll be fine because of privilege."

Oh man, I wonder what world these people that write this shit live in? I mean, yes gender discrimination is bad but how can you miss the giant flaming elephant in the room of anything involving marketing: gullibility. And I'm declaring right now that if you look for gender discrimination in the marketing strategies of a capitalist society: You are gullible. These companies will put ANYTHING on the label. They have the right to (within safety and regulatory restrictions.) What's even better, NOBO…

It happens and it doesnt feel good but ultimately both parties are still putting energy into a relationship they could easily end. Its an immature non issue and is just part of our social dynamics. It can easily be explained by evolutionary psychology. Its just a fact of life and its something we can fix by learning to have a healthy set of boundaries.

I taught high school and that field is full of women. It's full of strong, capable women who chose to be in that field. It's full of women who support each other emotionally and confide in, support each other when they are having a hard time. It's full of women who don't really feel like they need to extend any special support to the male teachers because "they seem to be just fine."

I have been recommending my female friends to watch the Factual Feminist. I know most of them are very reasonable people who have not given the "other side" of all these feminist narratives a single chance. I think most people aren't very active in seeking out information. They tend to scroll to it or just browse the same old places (we are all guilty of that.) They just need to hear that you think it's worth looking at and they might take a look. If they don't like you after that you are doing …

I have been called so any god damn names growing up. I've had to deal with both male and female bullies.

To this day in my mid twenties, a hobby makes me attractive. This is hilarious and very true. There are so many females out there who are speaking out against the bullshit and bringing the debate back to the center where it belongs. Check out Karen Straughan, the Factual Feminist, ShieldWife and the Fiamengo File.

I gave it a read. I think this guy wants the best for people. In his mind, he's trying to prevent child abuse. However, I really don't think it resembles a disorder. I know a handful of perfectly happy transgendered people. If it was more like anorexia they would never be satisfied with their transition. This also sounds a lot like outdated beliefs on gay people.

There's not enough rape happening at your school!!! The administration needs to do more to encourage rape.

oh man that's so true. It goes to show how subjective these situations are. It also points out not helpful at all the rape culture view of rape is. Tying innocent but maybe creepy things to rape is really pointless in preventing it.

Especially because creepy is such a subjective thing. I have no control over how you interpret my actions.

The “nag” always gets the bad press, but when you look deeper, the nagging is usually the result of someone not taking full responsibility for himself and his actions. This sentence cancels itself out. I've had a lot of relationships like this including my mother. It's really a horrible situation to be in. You get blamed for them being unhappy or doing shitty things. At the end of the day it's always your fault.

If my college would have given me incentives to become an elementary school teacher I would have seriously considered it. I work in the tech field and I wish there were more women in this field. However it is very insulting to me that some feel the need to have special privileges.

Yeah web development is different. I am familiar with search algorithms from personal study but the coding bootcamp I went to didn't even touch it. I got a job without really mentioning my personal study and haven't used any of that knowledge since I've been working. Web frameworks really reduce a lot of the complexity and flexibility of coding and replace it with vocational knowledge specific to that technology. So, it becomes more like skilled labor or a trade instead of an engineering job. I …

What a great point. I feel like a lot of the feminist terminology is just made up bullshit. It could be that this is the patriarchy but my knowledge of behavioral science (from becoming a credentialed teacher) favors the superweapon interpretation. It's highly unlikely this kind of shit is anything but spoiled kids who will use anything they can to win in any situation. It's because they were raised to think there is no consequences for their actions and they are always right. They just happen t…

I loved the point about internalized misogyny. It's literally a cult behavior to treat your own critical thinking as a disease. It's also something completely made up without much science to back it. A lot of behaviors are subjective and cultural. That doesn't automatically make them evil or bad because someone tells you so?

Great video! It's completely true. Women's behavior is sanctioned. Men's behavior is only sanctioned if they are attractive.

Oh god I heard about this on NPR and it gave me a heart palpitation. What a total power move on her part. What an example of an easy target. What an example of taking advantage of another person for feminist fame. What an altogether stupid thing in general that really means nothing at all. I

Exactly... imagine that you aren't a princess. Instead you're a soulless drone which is told from birth to give up their autonomy and self worth as soon as possible so that it can start becoming useful. Imagine that any attempt to rebel against the lifestyle of being tough and uncaring will either get you killed or outcast. Even if you are granted an education and stable life, all your hard work earned you a life that you didn't deserve because you are a man. Being a leader, avoiding becoming tr…

I agree. The sex gap is becoming a big problem in the dating world what with feminism rewriting the rules. I feel like the game these days is to quickly find out what level of comfort someone is on and then match it. It's putting all of the responsibility on the man without giving him any of the respect to come with it.

I don't give a fuck what you say when you're fighting battles that I don't have to fight. We all benefit from what SJW's might call "war privelege". In fact, the soldiers (on both sides) are the only ones who really get screwed in war situations. Maybe there is another way to cut down on harassment without limiting their freedom of speech.

This is such a fucking unfortunate leak. It really skews the perception of men. Of course men want to cheat more than women with an ONLINE service marketed mostly to men. Getting a girl easily is a turn on for us. A girl wants to cheat in real life because getting picked up in real life is a lot more appealing to her. They don't try to hook up with random people on the internet nearly as often as men try to. It's just different.

Well, a lot of male comedians joke about how little they get laid, or how awkward sex is for them, or how much they hate their wife. It's kind of the same thing... just self deprecating.

I hate this. It is so extremely sexist to say that men's sexuality inherently objectifies women. That's like saying that women inherently see men as a thing to use for selfish gain.

I am really glad that you wrote this out. I have been looking for a way to put a lot of this into words. You nailed it. I agree that this is definitely a cultural problem instead of a genetic one (it's sad to always have to fend that accusation off). I've especially been looking for a way to explain why I've always felt very welcomed and comforted by some older women. Certain moms just understand boys and have a lot of sympathy for them, not to the detriment of any girls. Especially female coach…

I think this is a great article. I love the part about viewing women as victims and men as always in control. I think young boys need to have their innocence just like girls do. Girls always talk about "I didn't even know what sex was until X age" (bullshit). Guys say the same think and get laughed at. The difference is that guys know, from the moment they are exposed to it, what pleasure feels like and what sex LOOKS like. They don't have any idea what real responsibility is. With the kids Ive …

This actually makes the most sense in my own experience. Since preschool women have always been more organized, responsible and score better on average. I went to college and graduated with mostly women. Then I see all my old friends on facebook getting good jobs then getting married to older guys and having kids. Meanwhile, it took me a few years to get my career going and with that extra time to focus on myself Ill be able to provide for a family when Im a bit older.

I honestly think some of the patterns of cults or radical movements are at work in feminism. This video was so refreshing to watch.

I would hardly call that receiving. Part of the problem of the rape gap is that we treat female sex like its a gift that should always be appreciated and loved no matter what. then we treat male sexuality like its a shameful thing you should never admit to unless a woman is involved. If a woman is giving you her special gift then you can talk about your sexuality or express it. So what kind of man wouldnt want that? who would turn down a free car if they won it in a raffle? /s well, lets stop us…

Im more concerned that this was an act of direct and cold cruelty. Psychopaths dont rob houses. They look someone right in the eye and give not a single concern to their lack of comfort.

I think in terms of evolution this kind of thinking serves the purpose of finding a provider who will not take any of your attention away from caring for the child. This kind of robotic male behaviour would only serve well in a more primitive society or one that doesnt have the means to think of their lives as more than having children and surviving.
